Best lodging ever
If you want to enjoy your vacation in Maine with perfect lodging, this is the place. From the moment we booked it, everything was as advertised. Great communication from the owner, super clean when we arrived, wonderful amenities that wowed us and a view we could not get enough of. This cottage was decorated with wonderful and unique items, the bed was awesome, we had coffee in the pantry for us, water in the fridge and snacks. As much as my wife and I have traveled in the US, we have never had accommodations that match this. Take our word on it, book it, enjoy it, and you will come back. I know we will, and it will be here. Thank you Sara for everything.

Clean and well supplied. Convenient location for mid-Maine side trips.
WELL APPOINTED, UNFORTUNATELY NOISE FROM BRIDGE
Everything about this cottage was exactly as owner described but to the right is Route 1 bridge....the noise and echoing from cars and trucks kept me up all night....What bothered me may not bother someone used to more commotion than I am. I am very sensitive to noise and lower vibrations which I was getting from the bridge traffic. If this cottage had been further away from the bridge it would have been absolutely perfect.
Cozy and welcoming, spotless, comfortable and a perfect location to enjoy the Wiscasset area. Highly recommend this lovely cottage!
Perfect location to explore the mid-coast
Great place with everything you would need in a perfect location.
A Little Gem !
What a terrific place to get away for some relaxing, traipsing around, eating out, and enjoying! The owner has provided just about all one can use for ease if you want to prepare meals in the cottage. There are books, games, various ways to relax in the time spent at “home”. The bed is comfy and the cottage is quick to warm up if needed. It is cottage/ beach cute ( not over the top cute) and the small space is so well thought out it seems much larger. Clean, comfy, and the view you cannot beat,,,we totally enjoyed our days there. Thanks for such a nice retreat and your quick responses Sara.
This area of Mid-coast Maine provides ready access to seaside activities, cultural sites, dining and shopping. The iconic Red's Eats Lobster Shack is located just across the bridge from the cottage, and the village of Wiscasset offers a variety a dining establishments within a mile's walk or drive. Just a short walk down the road, Fort Edgecomb, a waterfront historic site, may be easily explored on foot. Farther afield, lighthouses, a maritime museum, art museums and other cultural sites are available for exploration. Visitors may also enjoy the many outdoor activities of the area, including beaches, whale watches, oyster cruises, hiking and kayaking. Shopping enthusiasts will find locally made pottery, gift shops and antique stores in nearby Damariscotta, while the flagship L.L. Bean store provides the centerpiece of a day-long shopping excursion to the Freeport Outlet Center.
