In an 18th century country estate, with tennis, pool and beautiful park
FOR THE SHORT STAYS (3 to 6 nights), contact us at "the Domaine de Vincenti": our daily prices drop considerably after 2 nights. The charming holiday home of “Les Agnelles,” 125 m2, is located at the Gates of Provence, in the Drôme Valley, at the Domaine de Vincenti, our family estate for over four centuries. We installed this vacation home in an old stone building. It is fully equipped and it offers an exceptional comfort. It is elegantly and very tastefully decorated with plenty of space, light and charm. The domain has a park of more than 6 acres, with a tennis court, a swimming pool and a children's playground.
We will be delighted to warmly welcome you together with your family, your children and friends for a wonderful vacation in France.

INTERIOR: The ground floor includes a spacious living-dining-room of 40 m2, a semi-open kitchen, a toilet with WC and a laundry. The living room is very comfortable, with 3 m high ceilings, two comfortable sofas, TV, Wi-Fi, ancient furniture and a fireplace to spend cozy hours by the fire. We installed a complete Home Cinema with and IPod connection for you to listen to your preferred music or watch your favorite movies and pictures on the flat screen. The dining table can accommodate 8 people; the dishes of white Limoges porcelain and the cutlery are elegant and you will be charmed by the simplicity, taste and purity of the decoration. The kitchen is fully equipped with many accessories and appliances: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, food processor, steamer, blender... The laundry-room has a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, a vacuum cleaner... The cottage is also equipped with an excellent gas-powered central heating system: everything has been planned for simplicity and convenience. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with WC, one of them being attached to a bedroom. We selected your bedding with great care, in order to give you maximum comfort: we also prepare the Cottage according to the specific needs of your family and all bedrooms can be arranged either with a double bed 180x200 cm (King size) or two separate beds 90x200. When you arrive at Vincenti, your rooms and your bathrooms will be ready, carefully prepared with high quality linen, duvets and towels. If necessary, we add baby beds, high chairs and changing tables: we want to offer the best environment for your little ones, who will find some toys upon their arrival. If you wish, we can also put you in touch with a friendly local chef who will come on site and prepare for you a personalized gourmet meal at an affordable price. The villa is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. EXTERIOR: We have plenty of space in Vincenti: the 6 acres park, with century-old trees, opens onto a small forest with a little stream. From the property, one can directly walk, bike or jog in the surrounding hills and countryside. The cottage has a private terrace with plenty of garden furniture and an outdoor fire pit for pleasant campfires under the stars. A gas barbecue, shared with the neighboring cottage, is also available. Naturally, gas and wood are provided free of charge! For children, we have a covered playground with ping pong table, sandbox, playhouses and outdoor toys. There are also swings and huge lawns to run and safely play. The tennis court, with his training wall and basketball pole, is available year round and the large swimming pool of 8x14 m is open from May 1 to September 30. The park is secured to the side of the road and there is plenty of space to park cars. If necessary, we also provide a garage for motorbikes or bicycles with tools to maintain them. RESERVATIONS AND YOUR ARRIVAL: We are open all year and offer maximum comfort in all seasons. Our prices are 'all inclusive', except for a small surcharge if you want a change of linen and towels during your stay. During summer, our rentals are by the week, from Monday to Monday, to help you avoid the traffic jams of the weekends and allow you to spend a full weekend to Vincenti. The rest of the year, our rentals are scheduled with lots of flexibility: from Saturday to Saturday, for weekends or varying lengths of time. Do not hesitate to ask us for the special conditions we offer for rentals of several cottages and/or several weeks. About Brigitte de Valence
Bernard and I both grew up in the Drôme Valley and we love this magnificent area of France, with its very diverse landscapes and its Provencal flavor. We have lived a long time in the US and in Switzerland and our large family, which lives in many parts of the world, has kept strong roots in this beautiful region.
Why Brigitte de Valence chose Divajeu
The Domaine de Vincenti has belonged to our family for a very long time: 400 years. Bernard’s father worked here as a farmer from the 50s to 70’s. Since we took over the responsibility for the estate, we gradually restored it and, in 2008, we finished the complete transformation of its former farm buildings and converted them into luxury holiday homes.
What makes this House unique
Our cottages and the park of our estate provide exceptional space, comfort and charm. The site and the region of the Drôme Valley are delightful and ideal for relaxing, site-seeing, active holidays and reunions with family or friends…

THE REGION, THE CLIMATE AND THE OUTDOORS ACTIVITIES:
The Drôme Valley is halfway between Lyon and Avignon in the South-East of France. The climate is almost Mediterranean, with 2,400 hours of sunshine per year and, usually, dry summers. As always in the South of France, one may sometimes experience a few windy days: it is part of the landscape of the South! The river Drôme runs through the valley and its water is very clean with, in fine weather, excellent swimming and beautiful kayak rides. The Domaine de Vincenti is located in the countryside and the pace of life is tranquil and peaceful, allowing for a great holiday, just on-site. But there are also many hikes available close by, in the open countryside. The Pre-Alps, the Vercors Mountains, the Forest of Saoû… hold many other possibilities. For the sports oriented, the region offers exiting opportunities for jogging, hiking, mountain biking, horseback or bicycle riding, climbing, via-ferrata, acrobranche, kayaking ... and you can easily rent bicycles in Crest if you have not brought your own.
The Domaine de Vincenti is 3 kilometers away from the small town of Crest, with its famous medieval tower. One can find anything in Crest: supermarkets, bookstores, bakeries, butchers, wine shops, hair dressers, post office, organic food stores, fruit and vegetable shops, restaurants, bistros, pharmacies, doctors, gas stations, garages ... and a large open market every Saturday morning.
WINES, FOOD AND VISITS:
In Crest, visit the beautiful ancient tower which overlooks the town since 900 years and offer spectacular views of the valley. In the area, there are also quantities of charming old villages to discover, often perched on hilltops, with their ancient streets, their country bistros and unassuming restaurants. Everywhere, the region offers varied and enchanting landscapes: plains and colorful agricultural valleys, vineyards, fields of lavender, fruit trees and truffle oaks; wild hills and mountains with Provencal accents…
The many traditional local markets also give you an opportunity to meet friendly local farmers who sell, with a chanting accent, their vegetables, fruits, goat cheese, olive and lavender oil, garlic, truffles, traditional breads, wines ... In a radius of 15 to 60 kms, visit the famous vineyards of the Côte du Rhône: Clairette de Die, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Joseph, … the tasteful Provencal wines of the Nyonsais and the area of Grignan, produced since Roman times...
A little further away, at 1h15, discover the mythical old cities of Avignon and Lyon, loaded with history, charming with their lively pace and diversity, both listed on the UNESCO World Heritage. Throughout the year, participate in many cultural events available in the area: festivals, exhibitions, concerts...
For lunch or dinner outside, make a reservation in one of the excellent village restaurants of the valley or of the old city of Valence, 30 minutes away. Gourmets will also find several fine restaurants with 1 Michelin star, the nearest in Crest, just 3 km from the Domaine de Vincenti! For the food passionate, do not miss the very famous Restaurant Pic in Valence, with its 3 Michelin stars!
