Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Purbeck

Modern Fisherman’s Cottage overlooking Brownsea Island. The heart of Poole Bay

Sea Breeze Hoiday Home is in a brilliant location, nestled alongside Poole Marina, right next to the Fisherman’s dock on the shore of Poole Harbour with all its amenities… Fishing Trips, Dive Boats, Sail Boats, Tour Boats can all be booked from here. Take a leisurely stroll along Poole Quay or the High street and experience its many Cafes, Bars and restaurants.

From the quayside you can take a boat trip around the harbour or up Wareham River for lunch. Ferries run all day during the summer to the beautiful beaches at Sandbanks and Bournemouth. For the more adventurous, why not take one of the many walks along the famous Jurassic Coast which are within easy reach along the Purbecks.

If all this sounds too energetic and its just relaxation you are after, then there is probably no better place to enjoy quality time relaxing ,whilst enjoying the many panoramic views across Poole Bay, from the balcony of Sea Breeze.

Fishermans Cottage - Fine Catch

  • 5 of 5

Sea Breeze is a tastefully converted property on the sea front. The first floor lounge and balcony give uninterrupted views of the harbour and Poole's famous Quay. The bedrooms are a generous size, the large kitchen is well equipped and leads to a splendid conservatory/dinning room.

Spotlessly clean and well presented the accommodation is a short harbour front walk to the Quay and Town Sea Front. The owner, Sue is welcoming and helpful.

We certainly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again sometime.

Stunning House with views to Match!

  • 5 of 5

The title says it all.

Sue was really helpful with not only showing us round the house to show how everything works, but also assisted in the local tourist attractions.

The house was immaculately clean, with everything you could possibly need for your vacation.

The views are stunning with a location to match. Ideal for travelling to the Quay, walking to the local attractions, or just for an evening stroll along the harbour.

We would highly recommend Sues house to anyone and have already passed details onto friends. We look forward to staying again!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

This wonderful house is situated in one of the best and most convenient locations in Poole. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and were met by the lovely owner, Sue, who showed us around the house. The house was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you would need for a self-catering holiday. As well as the upstairs living room with balcony, there's a very large conservatory/dining room leading to a very pretty courtyard-style garden. Lovely! Although just the two of us booked for the week, Sue had made up all the beds and our daughter-in-law, who had been working in the area for a day, was able to stay overnight with us. She loved the house as much as us! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. Brownsea Island is immediately in front, with the Purbeck Hills just behind it to the right and Sandbanks over to the left. We were lucky enough to have lovely weather all week and the balcony is bathed in sunshine from early morning (breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the harbour - priceless!!) until early evening. The comings and goings on the water range from rowing boats to fishing trawlers to Brittany Ferries, and everything in between! Poole Quay is, almost literally, a stone's throw away, with its wonderful coffee bars and restaurants. The old town, with numerous eateries, and the high street and shopping centre are both within easy walking distance.

If you are thinking of staying in Poole, whether as a couple or a family, we would definitely recommend Sea Breeze. We will certainly be returning.

Absolutely amazing, fantastic location!

  • 5 of 5

Excellent welcome from Sue with a lovely touch of a full fruit bowl. The most amazing house we've stayed in, in a long time, the house is extremely well equipped and there was nothing we didn't have. The views from the balcony over looking the harbour were outstanding. We would highly recommend this property.

Fab views!

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely week in this nice conversion of a fishermans cottage. The house is clean and comfortable and the view from the upstairs lounge is wonderful. Sue gave us a very warm welcome, so nice after a long journey,Thankyou for the fruit! Poole has plenty of places to eat so afraid the kitchen was not used that much! Visited the New Forest, Bournemouth, and over to Swanage from the ferry at Sandbanks. Would love to come back and visit again, already missing the view!

FANTASTICO

  • 5 of 5

Have just spent a brilliant week in this marvellous house. Great for ages 89 to 5 years old, as my family were, and all had a fantastic time and were so sad to leave.

The house is very comfortable and the beds made for a good nights sleep. You can either sit on the balcony or in the patio garden and the conservatory/dining room is a great place for a family meal or get together.

Car or no car everywhere is so handy to reach and just sitting on the balcony or walking along the quay it's all superb. You can get a great meal at the Banana Wharf restaurant with a great view of the quay. On a Friday around 6pm there is a parade of different types of cars each week along the quay, we saw mini's on 10th June 2011.

Good places to visit are Compton Acres Gardens, Corfe Castle and model village plus the steam train to Swanage and good meals can be found at all. Poole museum is very interesting and many other shops and places in the old quarter. Brownsea Island is worth a visit and Kingston Lacy. If you want sand then Sandbanks is the place to go or take the ferry boat over to Studland.

Sue and her dad Paddy are fantastic, the perfect hosts and eager to help you make your holiday extra special.

Can't say enough about how wonderful the place is and would recommend to anyone. My family and I will definitely be staying again.
