Wonderful creekside cabin

  • 4 of 5

Absolutely loved the creek that runs by this cabin. You have your own waterfall to explore. The cabin sits back from the road, in the trees. It felt secluded. A perfect place to relax. There is a road above the cabin, but rarely saw a car on it. The trees block views from the road and the house that is located at the end of the cabin's driveway. I'm sure that the cabin is more exposed in the winter when the leaves are off the trees.

The hot tub and dishwasher do need to be replaced. The dishwasher's soap container doesn't stay closed. The jets on the hot tub are very weak, but still loved soaking in the hot tub which sits on the porch right by the creek.

This cabin is way out in the country. It wasn't a problem for us, but it is not right by Pigeon Forge. It was a little hard to find at first. When you come to the barn on the right, stop, the cabin sits back in the trees across the road. If you come to the forked road on the left, you went too far.

I would come back here again. The setting by the creek is definitely worth it.

I can't think of a better location for a cabin

  • 5 of 5

I can't believe the rate on this cabin is so low, you have a waterfall directly off the deck, with a hot tub overlooking it. There is an awesome firepit on the waterfall as well.

If you walk maybe half a mile you can swim in a huge Creek with a small dirt beach.

If you stay here make sure to use the owners directions to find it, Google maps and apple maps took us to two different places that passed this cabin right up.

The only thing that could have been better were the beds but that's only a minor issue

This was absolutely perfect for our short last-minute trip to the Smokey's! The directions that Mandy text me were right on! It was clean and cool and we couldn't have asked for more! We have already referred this cabin to a number of friends and we will most definitely be back! Thanks so much for the perfect get-a-way!!!

Quaint and comfortable

  • 4 of 5

Really liked this cabin. About 15-20 minutes from gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Hot tub was nice. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the stream flow in the morning. Only complaint is the lock on the door gave us problems, had to fight with it to get it unlocked and the door was very tight in the frame. I’d stay here again though.

Secluded Cabin, 25 mins to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge, Creek on property, River access

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is located about 20 to 25 mins north of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This place is has everything you need if you are looking for a vacation staying in the cabin or out and about exploring the Smokies. My mother stayed with us on her way up to Pennsylvania the first night. The queen sized bed upstairs was big enough for her and my 3 year old daughter to share, my wife and I slept on the sofa bed downstairs. The cabin had a full kitchen which we took full advantage of. There was a hot tub located on the deck next to the creek that runs on the property, but we chose just to use the inside jetted tub. The bathroom downstairs had a full bath/shower combo which came in handy after swimming in the river. The cabin had direct tv and wifi that worked some of the time. The creek was nice with a waterfall at end of the path. Within walking distance from the cabin was access to the Little Pigeon River which is where we spent the majority of our time. There are also horses on the property next to the cabin which delighted my wife and daughter. We only drove through downtown Gatlinburg once and intended on going to the National Park multiple times but chose to stay at the cabin due to the creek and river. You will learn the back roads to Gatlinburg and more so to Pigeon Forge staying here. That is a plus since we were able to avoid all the traffic on the parkway. When you are locating the cabin for the first time, you will question the amount of time it takes from the parkway to the cabin itself. By the first night you realize it is well worth the drive once the fireflies come out and the creek is the only sound you hear. Follow the directions because it is easy to miss the cabin as it is very secluded on the property. This cabin had everything we were looking for and even had a washer/dryer combo we didn't expect. This cabin would be interesting during the fall with all the trees on the property near the creek and the gas fireplace on the cold nights. My 3 year old daughter made smores for the first time using the outdoor firepit next to the creek. If you are looking for a cabin that is located away from the traffic of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge then this cabin is for you. My family was pleased with everything this cabin had to offer. We are already planning our next visit to stay here again.
