Cala Clara is a smart series of contemporary, two-bedroom apartments set just 10 metres from the Balearic Sea on Mallorca’s northern coast. With generous proportions, each apartment measures between 80-86 square metres, with spacious furnished terraces of 20-25 square metres.

Apartments situated on the ground floor benefit from their own private gardens , which measure between 65-100 square metres and barbecue, whilst the top-floor penthouses boast a 85-95 square-metre decking area that comes complete with a private Jacuzzi.

All the apartments offer sea views, specially from the first and top floor, and share an outdoor swimming pool. Quality fixtures and fittings can be found throughout. Amenities include Daikin air conditioning and double-glazing.

Nice apartment but it could have been cleaner.

We stayed in the ground floor apartment closest to the restaurant. The apartment is spacious but the location is noisy and very busy in front. Constant noise from delivery vans and coaches for the hotels, restaurants and shop. It was not relaxing. As has happened to others we had cash stolen from the apartment in the hour we were at the back in the pool. It is upsetting, slightly dismissed by the management company and took two and a half days of our holiday to sort out the paperwork. It spoilt our holiday. I would recommend that you carefully read all the reviews and believe the negative ones as it was our experience too. The photos are from the top floor apartment be ware. Security is not great as it relies on a keycode system. The safe in the apartment was not very user friendly, it was too stiff to open and we had to use pliers to open it. Sadly not the best weeks holiday for us.

Owner's Response: We are very sorry you had cash stolen from the apartment. We tried to help you as much as possible reporting to the local police which is not an easy process in Spain. We will increase the security by gating the front gardens of the ground floor apartments. The vans and buses are no longer allowed on this street as finally the Townhall made the decision to move them further down the road. Although the penthouses have a nicer view and therefore the rent is more expensive all the apartments have exactly the same layout and furniture. A lot of our clients enjoy the ground floor apartments because they are very practical with children and have their own barbecue.

Very nice apartment (top floor apartment)

We were very happy with the apartment. Clean, well maintained. Everything as described. Nice roof terrace and Jacuzzi. Secure parking. Very good location. We would recommend it to other travellers if they are looking for a comfortable accommodation in a quiet location. The only negative was that the internet did not work when we arrived on Saturday and we had to wait until Monday for it to be fixed. Also, no soap and other essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms (e.g. no bin bags, not enough toilet paper).

Great 2Bedx2Bath apartment in Cala san Vincente.

This was our second year having a 4 week stay in the same apartment (one of 6) It is really modern, clean, spacious and well equipped. The location, for us, is really good and it has good views of the bay and mountains. In the event of a problem the customer service is very good - just one call to Marga in the office a short distance away in Puerto Pollenca, is all that is required. For example, the TV required some adjustment on arrival and this was remedied a short time later. For us, Cala Clara in Cala san Vincente is situated in a beautiful part if the island and is a really good base for visiting many places. I have not hesitated to recommend this property to friends/relatives. We have had two really great holidays here and we shall be going back for another 4 weeks next year!!!!!!!

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung mit herrlichem Ausblick!

Die Wohnung ist schön, großzügig, modern und stylisch! Sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Einmalig ist auch der große Balkon mit taumhaften Blick über die Bucht von Cala Clara.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht. Das einzige Manko, das Haus ist leider sehr hellhörig.

Cala Clara Apartments - looking a little tired?

Hi. Thanks for the opportunity to review our latest stay in Cala Clara. We are regular visitors to Cala San Vicente since 1977, and watched with interest the apartment block take shape on the site of Tolo's Bar. We stayed in 2A when the apartments first opened and have been returning regularly since. I think we've stayed in all but the 1st floor apartments but prefer the penthouses, which, because of the summer prices, we tend to visit in September. Our stays have always been enjoyable, and any minor problems we have experienced have been promptly dealt with by Marga, who is always helpful and courteous.]However, we do feel that the apartments are looking a little tired and in need of some attention. The electric gate was not working, and some folks took the opportunity of a shortcut. Some of the relatively new sunbeds and parasols around the pool are worn or broken, and the lights outside the main entrance are not working.

Cala San Vincente is one of Mallorca’s smallest resorts, set in a charming former fishing village on the island’s northern coast. It’s located between Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa and offers peace, tranquility and plenty of natural beauty. It’s easy to imagine why it’s garnered popularity amongst artists and painters, who come to capture the unique ambience.

The area is home to three gorgeous beaches, which are surrounded by rocky cliffs and nestled between the crystal waters and the Tramuntana Mountains. Cala Molins is the most popular, owing to its wonderfully clear waters, whilst Cala Barques is accessible by a set of steps, which lead down from the car park (both offer sunbeds). The smallest of the three is Cala Cabro – a quaint, pebbly cove that makes a good spot to stop at for those exploring by kayak.

As well as kayaking, the waters here are perfect for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving, as the coastline’s unique rock formations provide a unique vista below sea level. Back on land, hiking is a real draw, thanks to the stunning sea views that can be enjoyed along the cliff tops (the “Cove Blances” is a popular route, with a length of 40 minutes one-way). Cyclists are well catered for too, with a choice between the inland’s flat terrain and the hilly challenges of the Tramuntana Mountains.

Nearby, Pollensa’s Sunday market makes for some excellent souvenir shopping. Leather goods, textiles and woven crafts are amongst the treasures on offer, as well as local produce including vegetables, olives, wine and honey. And, when it comes to drinking and dining, you can enjoy fresh local fish over gorgeous sea views in Cala San Vincente’s restaurants.
