Welcome to Tangerine Dream!

Spend a week at the beach in style in this beautifully and richly appointed beachfront property. A warm and inviting cottage, Tangerine Dream offers all of the comforts of home with a breathtaking beach view and easy beach access.

As you enter into the 1st floor, you will find two bedrooms, one of which is a Beachfront master suite with King-sized bed. This rooms opens onto a private, furnished and covered deck with access to the ground level and beach boardwalk. You can enjoy spending the early morning here as the sun rises over the Gulf or you may choose to venture out into our palm garden for the fresh Gulf air. A private bathroom with jetted tub/shower completes this master suite.

The second bedroom is tastefully decorated, with a Queen bed and private bathroom with large, tiled shower. All of our bedrooms have the added convenience of a flat screen TV and ceiling fan for your comfort.

The second floor is the shared living space and holds the best views in the house. You will find the kitchen well stocked and ready for you to prepare a meal of fresh, local seafood. A large breakfast bar with seating for 4 and granite countertops make this an easy gathering place before heading out for the day. A laundry area is also conveniently located just past the kitchen.

Dinner is served with views of sparking Gulf waters at a table that can seat up to 6. Just past the dining area is the living room with Queen sleeper sofa, large, flat screen TV and DVD/VHS combo. You may enjoy the Gulf views from the comfort of this space or on the covered beachfront deck. Both of our upper and lower decks have privacy screens to the East, to make the most of a relaxing stay with family and friends. A full bathroom with spacious tiled shower is located just off of the stairwell and is easily accessible to the living area and loft bedroom.

The loft bedroom is located above the kitchen and overlooks the living area below. This is a great room for singles adults, children or teenagers, with 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin bed (updated photo coming soon!). Views of the Island are best seen from the bedroom window here.

Our parking area is lined with brick pavers which makes coming and going an easy venture as you explore the area. Our home is within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and Lighthouse park, so you can tour the area on foot or rent a bicycle and enjoy the miles of bike path available to visiting guests.

A convenient pathway leads you from the roadside to the beach, as you pass thru a thoughtfully curated palm garden with benches and tiki hut, the perfect place to relax as dinner cooks on the park-style grill nearby.

Our boardwalk makes the beach easily accessible and our unique outdoor space will make our home easy to find when it's time to return for the evening. And don't forget to rinse the beach sand off in a convenient and private enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, available just off of the lower deck.

We will gladly allow 1 dog under 30lbs with advance approval, for an additional fee. Please inquire.

We have worked very hard to make that dream come true and are so blessed to share this home with others. As soon as we stepped into Tangerine Dream, we knew this home was special. It is truly a step above many other homes we considered and with a little bit of help and regular maintenance, we hope to keep it staying as beautiful as it is now. One of our favorite features of 'Tangerine Dream' is that it is one of only a few beachfront row houses with a fenced in outdoor space...with palm trees! This beautiful layout and shaded space has been a wonderful respite for us when coming in off the beach. We hope you and your family will enjoy our 'Tangerine Dream' just as much as we do!

Family, Fun, and Sun

Our family had such a great time exploring the Island, playing in the surf, collecting beautiful shells, watching the dolphins, and enjoying the local town! The house is immaculately kept, well stocked for home cooked meals, and sits in the middle of all the local activities. You are a stones throw away from wide sandy beaches that offers your choice of either private or social settings. The atmosphere all around is very local and has preserved the pristine natural habitats without major commercialization. We also enjoyed pizzas at BJs and fish dinners at The Beach Pit. Enhancements to consider would be an upgrade to the outdoor shower for preventing sand from accumulating in the house, and, the addition of a traditional coffee pot maker for ground coffee. All around, awesome vacation choice and highly recommended!

Tangerine Dreamin'...

A great getaway. Recently updated, it seemed. 4 adults and 2 teenagers were definitely comfortable. Do take note of the proximity of neighbors. It shouldn't be a surprise, but I estimate you are 10-12' from neighbors. When you are having coffee on the deck in the morning, you can pretty comfortably chat with neighbors doing the same to the west. To the east, the porch has some privacy due to louvers. Walking distance to shops and restaurants was nice! Easy walk to rent jetskis at Blue Parrot.

Wonderful oceanfront retreat

Our family of 6 completely enjoyed our week in this beautifully decorated, well equipped house. This is the PERFECT spot for easy accessibility to island activities. We walked to get ice cream, dinner spots, lighthouse tour, and to several souvenir shops. Another thing worth mentioning is this house has brick pavers along the side connecting to the back patio. We did not see another place with this feature. It keeps the mosquitoes away as you grill and relax and also allows for easy access to the patio storage area which is stocked FULL of everything you'll need for beach fun... umbrella, a tent, 6+ chairs, boogie boards, and toys galore! Also, there is a basket by the back door full of beach towels!! Linens were fresh, clean, and everything is updated. There were tons of towels and extra blankets and pillows in the closet. The location on the beach cannot be beat. You are far enough away from noise of restaurants down the beach but still close to everything you'll need. The house's boardwalk to the beach is straight and well maintained. We never worried about packing up for a day at the beach because the house was just a few seconds away! The only downside of the house for some, may be the steps...3 levels and the hard tile on the stairs...unforgiving to little ones who might fall but it fit our older children perfectly.
