About the property

A stunning terraced villa with breathtaking views across the Amalfi Coast

Torca, near Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi

Villa Chez Piè is a substantial and impressive villa, with ample space for twelve people.

Set on a hillside, surrounded by olive groves, the white terraces of Villa Chez Piè rise upwards to the blue skies, as if flowing with the contours of the landscape. From this lofty position, you can take full advantage of the magnificent panoramic views. The seas of the Bay of Nerano stretch before you, framed by the sheer beauty of the Amalfi Coast.

The villa is just 150m from the lovely hamlet of Torca, where you will find a restaurant and a number of authentic food shops selling local produce.

On arrival, you can park directly beside the house. If you have a number of vehicles, there is additional parking just 100m away in an enclosed area.

Walking through a small paved courtyard, you arrive on the impressive main terrace, measuring 100m2. This is without a doubt the most enchanting part of Villa Chez Piè. As you stand, gazing towards the azure seas, you will feel any stress and tension just melting away. You can see the Li Galli Islands and on a clear day, even the Cilento Peninsula.

The south facing terrace enjoys sunshine throughout the day. It’s easy to find a comfortable place in which to relax, with a dining table and chairs, comfortable bench and armchairs, plus a swing seat for two. There is a retractable awning, so you can enjoy a little shade any time you wish.

In addition to this lovely terrace, there are three further outdoor levels at Villa Chez Piè. You will be spoilt for choice when deciding where to unwind!

A stone staircase leads to the lowest, ground level, where you will find the swimming pool and barbeque area. The above ground pool measures 3.3m by 6.3m and is 1.2m deep. It is open from 4 April to 30 October and is surrounded by sun beds on which to chill out after a refreshing dip.

There is also a wonderful outdoor kitchen area, where you will find a wooden burning oven, perfect for rustling up an authentic pizza. The owner, Pièro, would be happy to arrange for a chef to cater for your party. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a pizza dinner or a barbeque, created, when available, with fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from the garden in front of the house.

There is a further large terrace on a higher level, also boasting amazing sea views - the perfect place for sun bathing on a deck chair. Finally, an outside staircase takes you to the roof terrace of the villa, offering a fabulous 360 degree view of the sea and coastline. Make sure your camera batteries are charged!

The villa itself measures 200m2, offering more than enough space in which to spread out and relax.

The sitting room is on the same level as the main terrace and is bright and spacious, with large windows and doors onto the terrace, so that even when inside you can enjoy the splendid sea views. It is tastefully furnished with a patterned tiled floor, sofas and armchairs, a lovely fireplace and a dining table and chairs. You will also find satellite television, a DVD player, a stereo and an internet Wifi connection. There is air conditioning throughout Villa Chez Piè, plus central heating for chillier days. Heating is chargeable at 4.50 euro per m3.

The sitting room leads onto the traditional masonry kitchen. Attractive blue tiles contrast with the beautiful natural wood cupboard doors. You will find everything you need to self-cater during your stay, including a five ring gas hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There is also a washing machine, ironing board and iron. The kitchen leads straight through a French door onto the terrace, where you can admire the little garden in front of the house through a window.

Also on the same level, a short corridor takes you from the sitting room to a sleeping area. Here you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed, television, and a large window looking out onto the main terrace. The second, smaller bedroom, offers bunk beds perfect for children, and has a French door leading onto the terrace. The modern and well designed bathroom has an enclosed rainfall shower, wash basin, toilet, bidet and hairdryer.

A staircase with around fifteen steps takes you up to the first floor, where you will find two further bedrooms and a second bathroom. One of these bedrooms is furnished with two single beds, a built in wardrobe, a desk and a chest of drawers. It has a large window with views across the beautiful landscape, just reaching the sea. The second bedroom has a double bed and offers spectacular sea views through three large windows. The attractive bathroom on this level offers a shower cubicle with rainfall head, wash basin, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. The view from the bathroom window is simply enchanting.

Moving down to the lower floor, on the same level as the swimming pool and barbeque area, you will find a further kitchen, equipped with a gas hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker. There is a small room with a second washing machine.

The second living room has two sofas, one of which converts into a comfortable double bed, plus wooden armchairs. The apple green feature archway provides a lovely focal point to the room.

Also on the lower floor are a further double bedroom and the third bathroom, stylishly decorated, with a rainfall shower cubicle, wash basin, toilet, bidet and hairdryer.

Should you be able to tear yourself away from the comforts of Villa Chez Piè, there is plenty to explore in the local area. The town of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi is just 1km away, and offers family-run restaurants, gelaterias, fresh pasta shops, fruit and vegetable stores, mini-markets, bakeries, butchers and fishmongers, coffee bars and pubs.

There are many walking trails to appreciate the beauty of the natural environment, ranging from gentle walks to more strenuous hikes. Or you could take the opportunity to explore the Amalfi Coast, with lush Amalfi, Positano and Ravello offering both beauty and cultural interest.

However you choose to enjoy your time at Villa Chez Piè, you are sure to return home with fond memories of this beautiful villa.

Please note, there will be a final cleaning charge of € 200 added to the rental period at time of the booking.

What a stunning villa and location!!! Wow! My extended family and I had the most fabulous week! Beautiful location, close to a lovely little town full of local amenities, close to Sorrento and Positano. We cannot wait to return!

If I had to make any suggestions re: potential improvements, I would say that air conditioning would make the villa much more comfortable. The swimming pool could also benefit from heating, as although we went in august and it was very hot, the pool sits largely in the shade so it tends to be a bit cooler. It is lovely though but for the younger kids, a bit too cold.

Overall, an exceptional villa with the most beautiful views. We would return tomorrow...

Amazing Villa

  • 5 of 5

I booked this extremely beautiful and spaces villa. As I needed a large rental to accommodate 10 people, as my step-daughter was getting married in Italy.

The villa comfortably hosted the Wedding BBQ for 20 guest's and the "Feeling Italy " team very kindly organised a beer machine which was a nice touch.

The Wedding guest were blown away by the stunning ocean views and could not get over how big the Villa was. The large infinity swimming pool was the talk of the party and was so much fun!

The large kitchen next to the BBQ and Pizza oven was well equipped.I was easily able to cater for the whole Wedding Party, using local produce and wine purchased from a local butcher and grocery shop in the Village. (I did pre order the wine and pizza bases with the shop, as its tiny!)

The villa was extremely clean and well presented. The Property Manger was only a phone call away if we needed him and was very polite and helpful.

Thank you for letting us stay in this wonderful Villa. We will never forget it!

Gorgeous place- wonderful service

  • 5 of 5

We think that Feeling Italy is a wonderful, professional, and thourough agency. Piero patiently and kindly spent hours talking to us and giving us advice- even before we booked the villa through them. Villa Chez Pie was gorgeous, comfortable and very accurate to the images and description on the site. Everything we needed was there, and as we were staying over Christmas, Piero even set up a tree and a few other decorations for us to enjoy.

We thought we might want to try our hand at the local cuisine and found Carmine through Feeling Italy. Carmine was a wonderful teacher, and an excellent chef. He was organized and relaxed, but on task the whole time. The experience included every detail- from music, to special ingredients-like a ricotta you can only get by visiting the factory, to local wines, and a touch of Carmine’s private reserve fig jam made from his own garden. He even offered to have someone come in and clean up afterward! The meal was wonderful and authentic and we left with an arsenal of new recipes to impress our dinner guests. Cooking with Carmine is a must do- I promise you’ll enjoy the whole experience and end the night happy and full.

Throughout our stay Piero was helpful with recommendations and checked in on us to see that everything was going well. From start to finish every detail was coordinated, transactions were relaxed and easy. We would definitely recommend booking through Feeling Italy, especially Villa Chez Pie.

Awesome property and host in Amalfi!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this wonderful property in the amalfi coast (hosted by Piero). This is a stunning property right on the coast with a wonderful view and a very serene environment. The property was very clean, Piero is a wonderful host and the property is located in an area not frequented by tourists. So you can enjoy the drive along the coast and come back to peaceful evenings! Loved everything about our stay here and highly recommend this property! By the way, there is also a michelin rated restaurant nearby - Don Alfonso 1890 and if you are in a mood to indulge - plan for a few hours - this is well worth it!

Gorgeous villa! Best management ever!

  • 5 of 5

We were 2 families of 4 and 3. We rented this beautiful villa for tall 7 of us and it was more than we needed! It can fit easily a lot more people.

The villa itself is just superb! The views are beyond description! Everything you see on the pictures is really there and looks even better in real life.

But this is not all - what you want when you rent something in foreign country, not knowing the language, etc. is to be taken care of if you ever have a question or need anything. These people are unbelievable! They would do anything for you and even more. :-)

Their advice and arrangement of the trips (we went to Capri), dining and shopping suggestions are priceless. I am a person who ALWAYS finds something to complain about... no luck here. :-)

Piero and Sergio were great! If we needed anything (and there was not really much you can ask for as everything is there – we asked for extra paper towels and toilet paper, I think), we called the office – Sergio was at the villa in 5 minutes with whatever we needed. This was a fairy tale!

Thanks, guys, for helping us to have such a wonderful time at your villa. Next time we are there please make sure the weather is warm and there is no storm! :-)

Mediterranean land that has been depicted described and immortalised in song by artists, poets and travellers from every period of history. Whereas inland, the high plains, rolling hills and lofty mountains are seared by deep valleys to create a truly unique landscape in which man has also left a clear sign of his remarkable work: the more impervious areas have been modelled into the now-famous terraces, those huge steps descending into the sea on which man gas planted vin yards and groves of orange, lemon and olive trees.
