Property type house

About the property

3 Bedroom, 1.5 Bathroom, Close to Beach

This adorable boutique style home is on a little beach lane. Local restaurants and grocery is just a short walk across the street. The lane is a mixture of adorable beach houses and local style shacks. Very authentic, country beach living. It is a downstairs unit.

We respect our home and surroundings and we love guests who do the same. We have strict house rules that will be explained at check in and can be provided in advance upon request.

You’re not far from tropical hikes and waterfalls, unique art galleries, movie set tours, Turtle Bay Resort, and Hawaii’s number one paid attraction–the Polynesian Cultural Center, which shares food, dance and traditional customs from island cultures throughout the South Pacific.

Also nearby is the historic LDS temple, as well as Brigham Young University-Hawaii campus, where both cultural and collegiate productions dot the year-round calendar.

Head north and within minutes you’ll hit sand and surf at brag-worthy beaches like Sunset, Pipeline and Waimea.

Don’t forget to pick up a chocolate haupia pie at the famous Ted’s Bakery on your way, or keep driving to Haleiwa for a taste of the world’s yummiest shave ice at Matsumoto’s.

Lovely Little Home

  • 5 of 5

Had a great stay with my Family. This place is comfortable and cozy which made for a great stay. The beach was within walking distance. The home had beach chairs, towels and boards for us to use. The local grocery store and restaurants are also within walking and driving distance. It was an ideal location to be on the North Shore. The only thing I did not like was the roosters wake up call on some mornings.

Family vacation in O'ahu

  • 5 of 5

We chose to stay at the Hauula property to be away from the busy metropolitan area of Honolulu so we could enjoy the island of O'ahu. The house is about an hour drive from the airport and is a short walk to the beach and to the small shopping center that includes Long's Drugs and some restaurants. We really enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie which is only a couple miles down the road. Although the house is only a couple doors off the Kamehameha Highway we did not hear the sounds of traffic at all. The rooms are a bit small but still worked great for our family of 5 (two teenage boys and an 11 year old girl) since we did not stay at the house much anyway. The area is updated nicely and has an outdoor shower to clean up after a day at the beach. The kitchen has all the necessities but a bit sparse on cookware. There are a couple of beach chairs, an umbrella and body boards available for use that came in handy for the beach. A family with young kids was staying upstairs so we could sometimes hear their footsteps but it wasn't too disruptive. Overall we would definitely stay at the Hauula house again if we make it back to O'ahu.

Best family beach home on the North Shore side of Oahu!

  • 5 of 5

The home is just as pictured. It is clean and updated. It is in a friendly and quiet street. There is a food market for groceries, CVS, and beach all walking distance. This home has everything you need when vacationing. There is a nice size closet in the master that was great to store all our luggage and clothing. We were able to cook breakfast every morning. The owners are wonderful people. We ran into them while eating at one of the restaurants they suggested. The owners gave us great advice about where to eat, what to do, and how to get around. The house rules were light and easy to follow. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this home to our family and friends. The PCC, local shops, great food, Kualoa Ranch, and many other things are just minutes from this home. The drive to Honolulu/Waikiki was not that bad either.
