2 minute walk from underground and buses. Perfect for 2-4 people.

.The flat is at the 5th floor,in a 2006-building. Open view through large picture windows. Restricted access by codes and videophone. The apartment overlooks a little quiet inner garden; it has a very good sound and thermal in.sulation

The building gives onto a small square lined with shops, between rue de l'Olive, rue de la Guadeloupe (which are pedestrianized), rue de Torcy and rue de la Martinique. You can find there restaurants, bars with terrace, chemist's, bakery, groceries, ...On this square a market is held from Tuesday to Sunday in a Baltard-styled Historic Building.

490 sq. feet, very cosy.

Hall with cupboard-closet.

Living-room with quite comfortable 2-people folding divan, TV, Internet Wifi, telephone (free calls, except international cell-phone calls).

I chose this place at the first hand because the district is lively, cosmopolitan, with a lot of businesses and lovely restaurants, and at thesecond hand because the apartment is very quiet,modern and bright.

What makes this apartment unique

Quietness, brightness, modern comfort, Métro/ buses and businesses nearby, in an lively district.

Close to Butte Montmartre and famous district of Abbesses, where many actors are living; you can also find there a lot of artist studioes, as Bateau-Lavoir, where the most famous of them stayed in the last century.

Easy access to department stores (Printemps, Galeries Lafayette), Opéra Garnier, Louvre, Montparnasse, ...

Pleasant stroll, 10 minutes walk away, on Quai de Seine or Quai de Loire, trendy places on the side of Canal de l'Ourcq, with its converted barges.

You can walk there to Cité des Sciences et de la Musique or to Quai de Jemmapes: very trendy open-air cafés and restaurants, cinemas, boat tours.

Famous Clignancourt flea market, 6 min by subway.

Lovely apartment in an authentic part of Paris

The village of La Chapelle was absorbed (became part of Paris) in the mid nineteenth century. This is authentic Paris, traditionally a working-class area and now an evolving, cosmopolitan area with a mixture of middle class, the somewhat poor and disadvantaged people.

Opposite the apartment is the lovely Marché de la Chapelle, the covered food market, that was opened in 1888 and restored in 1958 and 2010. This, together with the surrounding pedestrianised streets, with a variety of shops cafes, bars and restaurants, creates the feeling of a vibrant village. It is less than five minutes’ walk to metro Marx Dormoy on line 12 and the bus stop for no. 35 to Gare de l`Est is nearby.

The apartment, on the fifth floor of a modern building, is very secure and there is a lift, unlike many of the older buildings in Paris, that are without. This is a nicely furnished home, not a typical rental apartment without character. Both the bed and the sofa bed in the lounge are very comfortable. The kitchen, although rather small, is adequate and there is a very good selection of tableware and cutlery.

Both the TV and the wi-fi functioned without any problem.

A hidden gem

We loved this little apt. We stayed one week and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Right outside the door is a fabulous market with fresh vegs, meat, wine, bread etc. We reall missed it when we moved to our second location. It's definitely not a touristy area, but we loved it.

It is difficult to find, but taxi driver persevered. The building is fairly new. The apt large windows open onto a big interior courtyard so it is very quiet. It is well equipped for a longer stay.

We used the metro a lot when in Paris and the metro stop was just around the corner. The ad said it was in the 10th, but it is actually in he 18th. Doesn't matter with the metro.

Sehr gute Wohnung

Gut geeignet für 2 Erwachsene + 1-2 Kind. Sauber, gut eingerichtet. Sehr ruhig, da 5. Etage Innenhof. Gute Metroanbindung, Geschäfte und Markthalle in direkter Nachbarschaft. Wir haben uns sofort zu hause gefühlt. Unproblematische Schlüsselübergabe.

Appartement très agréable

Excellent séjour à Paris dans cet appartement agréable, lumineux et très calme, situé dans un quartier vivant, avec de très nombreux commerces à proximité (magnifique marché de l'Olive, bistrots et restaurants sympas) et très bien desservi par les transports (bus ou métro). A recommander !

Bel appartement, très calme et éclairé

Grand appartement pour 2 adultes. Très éclairé et sécuritaire. Le petit marché extérieur est un avantage de plus. A 3 minutes du métro. Le quartier n'est pas "in", mais notre séjour de 5 nuits fut parfait. Merci

Metro and bus stations (Marx-Dormoy) about 3 minutes by foot.

Close to Montmartre (6 minutes away by subway), a quarter of an hour from the Sacré Cœur.

Close to Quai de Seine on the Canal de l'Ourcq (cinemas, bars, restaurants).

Direct access to the Grands Magasins du Printemps / Galeries Lafayette (subway about 15-20 minutes).

The subway station is on the line 12, which leads directly to Montmartre, Pigalle (7 minutes), Madeleine, Concorde, Saint Germain-des-Prés's district, Montparnasse.
