About Karen Coniglio
Hi. My name is Karen. I have lived in the Central Coast area for 29 years. My parents purchased the home where my mother continued to live by herself until May of 2015. She currently is passing through the stages of dementia. My children and I hold many happy memories at Oak Tree Acres. As of January 2017, after completing several improvements, I changed the home to a vacation rental in order to share the beauty of the Paso hills and be able to afford care for my mother. It's our way of hanging on to my parents and all the love they bestowed on us.
Karen Coniglio purchased this House in 1988
Why Karen Coniglio chose Paso Robles
My parents bought this home to be close to their grandchildren. They lived in Burbank, California where I grew up. Dad always wanted acreage because his best memories as a young boy were made at his uncle's farm in rural Ohio. Mom just had to be near the grand kids. What a beautiful place they chose!
What makes this House unique
The views are absolutely gorgeous. The house sits on a knoll and has a huge deck on which to sit and admire God's handiwork. My parents added huge windows in all but one bedroom which only adds to the visibility of the views from inside the house.

Nice views, very roomy, had everything we needed.
Home run! Awesome.
Very homey, cozy, comfortable, great views. The owner gets back to you immediately if needed. Best VRBO we stayed at in a long time.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad you found Oak Tree Acres cozy and comfortable. The home’s open and spacious floor plan creates that comfortable feeling. The wood stove and fireplace fill the home with warmth and that cozy feeling as you cuddle up in one of the oversized chairs. Oh, and you mentioned the views. You can be inside gazing through the large windows or outside on the wide decks and feast your eyes on the vast rolling hills of the Paso Robles countryside. If you are an early riser, the sunrises prove to be quite spectacular and the sunsets delight everyone. Do come again some day. You will be most welcome.
Charming home in the wine country
Amazing view, quiet location, short drive to wineries and downtown, special touches added by the owner.
I just stayed at this lovely ranch house for a couple's wine tasting weekend. It is such a charming house. It sits up on a knoll amongst ranch land and vineyards. It is well appointed with a Kurig, tea, spices and a basket of breakfast goodies. Karen also left us chocolate bars and a bottle of wine! There was even a water dish and doggie toys for our pups. The house is dark at night making it perfect for sky-gazing, and it is very quiet. It is a short 12 minute drive to downtown Paso. I will definitely rent this house again in the future!
There are definitely no city lights to interfere with the natural starlights. The immense sky filled with stars amazes me every time I am so blessed to gaze upon it and fills my heart and mind with an awesome sense of wonder and gratitude. Do come and enjoy God’s magnificent handiwork again.
This place was wonderful! Super clean and lots of small details included that I have not found in most places. Would love to come back!!
Thank you for noticing the small details. I strive to make my guests content and comfortable. Come back anytime.
Gem of a place!! Highly recommend.
Get away from it all and relax at this amazing home. Karen left us so many wonderful treats and we could really tell that she put so much thought into our stay. We would've stayed there a week if we could!!
Oh, my! Relaxation just goes hand in hand with Oak Tree Acres. Peace abounds there. It’s just a beautiful place. Thanks to my mom, I can open it for others to enjoy. Come back when you can.
