About Karen Coniglio
Hi. My name is Karen. I have lived in the Central Coast area for 29 years. My parents purchased the home where my mother continued to live by herself until May of 2015. She currently is passing through the stages of dementia. My children and I hold many happy memories at Oak Tree Acres. As of January 2017, after completing several improvements, I changed the home to a vacation rental in order to share the beauty of the Paso hills and be able to afford care for my mother. It's our way of hanging on to my parents and all the love they bestowed on us.
Karen Coniglio purchased this House in 1988
Why Karen Coniglio chose Paso Robles
My parents bought this home to be close to their grandchildren. They lived in Burbank, California where I grew up. Dad always wanted acreage because his best memories as a young boy were made at his uncle's farm in rural Ohio. Mom just had to be near the grand kids. What a beautiful place they chose!
What makes this House unique
The views are absolutely gorgeous. The house sits on a knoll and has a huge deck on which to sit and admire God's handiwork. My parents added huge windows in all but one bedroom which only adds to the visibility of the views from inside the house.

My group consisted of two couples and we stayed here for one night. Karen's home was the perfect location for our weekend escape! We spent the day wine tasting and the evening attending a concert at Vina Robles Amphitheater. We were within a 10 minute drive to all of our activities. The home itself is large and clean and the outdoor patio made for a relaxing view while enjoying morning coffee. Karen was a responsive host and quickly answered all questions. I would definitely stay here again!
Clean, spacious and comfortable. Only comment need a waste receptacle in the kitchen.
I certainly recommend a stay here if you want a fabulous view.
Thanks so much for your kind words. The house is indeed clean, comfortable and spacious. However, there is always a waste can in the kitchen in the farthest cabinet to the left of the sink. So sorry, you didn’t find it. Come back and enjoy the views again.
Beautiful home in wine country
We stayed in Karen’s home in Paso Robles for a wedding with some friends in July. The home was so comfortable, the air conditioning was on when we got there. The kitchen was well stocked for us, even coffee, a bottle of delicious local wine and some yummy chocolate. Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms situated nicely. We enjoyed the living room in the evening to catch on the day, and the front deck in the morning was wonderful, enjoying a cup of coffee, the beautiful view and watching the fog roll in. Karen was very easy to work with, and answered our questions quickly. We all said we would definitely stay at her house again.
Thanks so much for the thoughtful words. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at Oak Tree Acres. Comfortable describes the house quite wel, as well as the beds. The living room makes me feel so comfy. I love to curl up in one of the oversized chairs and gaze out the huge paned windows onto the rolling Paso hillside. Yes, Oak Tree Acres offers comfort, even to the wine and chocolates. I so want to make the guest experience enjoyable. Do come again.
Quaint, Well-Kept Oasis
We spent a night here as we were passing through town. The property is extensive and very secluded, but not more than a 10 minute drive to town and within walking distance to wineries.
The home was well-stocked (even coffee was provided) and very clean. There was even a bottle of wine and dark chocolate waiting upon arrival. There were 6 of us (4 adults and 2 6-year-olds) and we had plenty of space. I want to come back when we can stay longer.
I am so glad you enjoyed the roominess of Oak Tree Acres inside and out. It truly is an oasis of peace. I would be pleased to have you drop by again. Go well.
Beautiful, spacious hilltop retreat.
What a marvelous find on VRBO! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this lovely home. Host Karen communicated very well with us and thought of absolutely everything we would need and then some! We arrived to find the house very clean and much larger than we had imagined. The "welcome" bottle of wine and dark chocolate along with a personal note was a very nice gesture. The best part of our stay was waking up in the mornings to see the sunrise and walk the lovely grounds of this very private property. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There are wood decks off of nearly every side of the house with chairs to sit and enjoy the various views with a cup of coffee (also provided). Thank you, Karen, for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!
Oh, my! That’s my favorite part of Oak Tree Acres, waking up to see the sunrise, relaxing on the decks with a cup of chai
( I am not a coffee person .) and walking the property. I always think of my dad who made the original decks. I wish we had had the money to replace the front deck as my father built it as it extended across the entire front of the house. He always enjoyed his cup of coffee on the deck and gazed upon the peaceful serenity that surrounds Oak Tree Acres. I am so glad to share Dad’s home with you and his piece of Paso peace.
Perfect location cation and lovely home for our family to stay in.
Our stay in Paso Robles was made even better by choosing to stay at this home. It was just as described and very clean. Karen, who owns the property was very helpful and communicated with us often prior to our visit to make certain we had all the information we needed.
It would be a pleasure to stay here again.
I do try very hard to keep the house clean. Thanks for noticing. The communication aspect is very important to me as I try to accommodate my guests needs. Come again.
