Tranquility

We have had a wonderful two weeks at this property on Les Trois Chemins. Martine was most welcoming and helpful. The cottage is lovely and comfortable and the setting is delightful. We could wander around their vast garden, with the fruit trees, vegetable plots and 5 hens and cool off in the pool. The area is very rural with many picturesque villages and towns within an easy drive. The daily trip to get the bread at Saint Genies was a pleasant start to each day. A very relaxing holiday in this delightful part of France. Thank you Martine. Carol and Anna

Far from the Madding Crowd

Although the cottage was difficult to find, when we did eventually find it, Martine was helpful in spite of my sparse French. The cottage is finished throughout with wood to a high spec. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The kitchen is more than adequate and well equipped. A comfortable lounge /dining room has television and CD player. The shower is excellent. Upstairs the two bedrooms are basic but fairly comfortable. We loved the pool and the vast outside area with orchard. The cottage is some distance from any shops/ bars etc and is very quiet in rural Aquitaine. A car is essential.All in all, we enjoyed our tranquil week here, and would commend it to anyone who likes peace and quiet.

Never had better

Location au top pour des vacances dans une superbe région

Fin Août et début Septembre 2023, deux semaines de vacances dans une location typique de la région, très bien équipée. Une piscine au top de par sa taille et son exposition, et que dire de cette superbe vue lorsque nous déjeunions sur la terrasse. Les propriétaires Pascale et Philippe sont charmants, discrets et d'une gentillesse. Le Périgord Noir est une belle région et malgré que ce n'est pas la première fois que nous allons dans cette région, il nous faudra revenir, car nous sommes loin d'avoir tout vu. Location à recommander. Si je peux me permettre une suggestion, il faudrait juste y mettre des moustiquaires dans les chambres pour nous permettre de les rafraîchir durant la nuit.
