Why Julie Osborne chose Purbeck

I bought this property as when I was looking for a place in the country I phoned an agent to enquire about another property which they had just sold and the agent said 'I have got another property but you wont like it as its on the edge of the forest and down a 1/2 mile track, in the middle of no where' She couldn't have been more wrong it was just what I was looking for!!!

What makes this cottage unique

As I drive into Hyde and Seek Retreats I always feel I am leaving the stresses of life behind and escaping to a magical place.

Amazing family holiday

  • 5 of 5

We've just got back from a wonderful week away at Hyde Beeches. There were 10 of us - 7 adults, 3 children and a dog. There was plenty of space in and outside the house. Hyde Beeches had everything you could ask for. The garden and outside seating area was amazing, we had such beautiful weather so spent lots of time in the garden.

Cosy comfortable cottage

  • 5 of 5

Lovely cosy home from home cottage, that comfortable sleeps 10 adults and has a kitchen more equipped than home. Beautiful decor throughout in a lovely peaceful setting. This is my second visit, I needed somewhere to house extended family as we were scattering our mum/nannas ashes at sandbanks. We spent cosy evenings with rhe wood burner blazing sharing all our memories. It couldn't have been a more perfect place to be.

Fabulous country retreat

  • 5 of 5

Six adults and four children had a wonderful time staying in this peaceful and beautiful spot. The dog also loved the large garden, banks of snowdrops and the ability to walk into Wareham Forest without having to be on a road. The wood burner and aga were loved by all, as were the squishy sofas. Kitchen was really well equipped with lots of saucepans serving dishes, china and cutlery. We used both the kitchen and dining area. The house is also a great base for visiting the nearby stunning countryside. Julie and Wayne were both brilliant hosts - they gave us more kindling asap when we asked. Highly recommend this property.

A beautiful property in a fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the house to celebrate my father-in-laws 60th birthday. The house was great, full of character and there was loads of room for the 6 adults and our 2 young children.

The secluded location is great and very peaceful. There is also so much to do in the area, we had a great visits to Lulworth Cove and Weymouth and both were close by.

We loved the house and area and hope to make a return visit again in the future, possibly in the summer months.
