Comfortable, quiet, fun, convenient

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a five-night stay at this property. It was the perfect location for 22 people (10 adults, 12 children) to kick back and relax after a good day on the mountain. A few things worth mentioning:

Location - This location is about as close as you can be to the Village lift without actually staying in the Village. It's also right next to the grocery/liquor store. There's plenty of parking (we had five large vehicles), and it's an easy walk to all the restaurants on Main Street.

Layout - Five couples each had their own private bedrooms and attached bath. Although we had noisy kids running amok throughout the place, the rooms were a nice, quiet escape. The downstairs was plenty large for seven children. We had five other kids on the third floor. Don't ask me how to navigate the house, as I was getting lost up until the last day. It's a maze, but an endearing one at that. Bottom line is there was plenty of space for entertaining, eating, sleeping, and finding some peace and quiet.

Wifi - Fantastic in the front living room. Bring a signal repeater if you want it in the back of the house. I personally enjoyed not having constant wifi access. Felt more like a vacation that way.

Property management - Tom and Rafi were super responsive to every text and request. We had minimal issues during our stay, but the guys were on top of everything that popped up.

The stay easily exceeded our expectations.

I would whole heartedly recommend this property. If you’re looking for show home state of the art, then this is not for you, however, if it’s something with a sense of history and buckets of charm an character that is a stones throw from nearly all the local amenities and is a 5-7 min walk from the chair lift on peak 9 then look no further.

Great location. Perfect for large groups

  • 5 of 5

We were a family of 15 ranging from 7 months to 85 years old visiting Breckenridge for a wedding. We only used 7 of the 9 bedrooms.

The location of this home is perfect - a block off Main Street. There is a grocery store one block from the home and many bars, restaurants, shops within a 5 minute walk. Being so early in the season, skiing was not the best. Some of our party did ski. They drove to the lift that was open. I think once more lifts are open, it is possible to walk to lifts - but it is not a short walk.

We loved the layout of the home. It is quite compartmentalized and maze-like which made for privacy for the members of our group. There is a large living room with a fireplace and TV, but it is not big enough for everyone - with chairs brought in from the dining room, we sat 12- at one time if the house is at capacity. This was fine for our use, but might be an issue for others.

It worked out well for the family with small children to have the downstairs bedrooms and the older adults had bedrooms on the main floor and didn't have to deal with stairs. There are two bedrooms on the main level, so it was nice that those who had mobility issues didn't have to do any climbing. The other 5 bedrooms are on the second level. Most of the bedrooms in the home have an en suite bathroom.

Everyone liked the game room that had air hockey and pool tables. There are TVs in every bedroom, the living room and a comfy sitting room off the kitchen that seats about 6. It was nice when people wanted to watch a football game and it left the livingroom free for other visiting. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious with a huge dining area.

The water pressure was good and the hot water plentiful even with everyone getting ready at the same time. The view from the hot tub is spectacular. It was nice to be able to keep a vehicle in the garage and there was plenty of parking for our 3 other vehicles. There is a deck with a grill and sitting area right off the kitchen that we didn't use, but it is a nice sized space.

The only "I wish it had" comment I have is that there is no main floor powder room. So you must use an en suite in one of the bedrooms if you are on the main floor living spaces.

The property manager, Rafi, was attentive and prompt to answer messages both as we were making arrangements and also when we had questions while we were there.

We enjoyed this property so much that was are considering arranging a family reunion there in the future

Location, location, location

We loved this place. It is a maze-like house (old house that looks like they added on over the years). The layout is fun, especially if you have kids.

We had a mountain wedding in August and this place was able to hold the entire families from both sides (about 20 people, 4 of those children). The kitchen is centrally located and where we spent most of our time.

As I said, it is an older house, so your expectations will need to adjust. If you need a large place to stay that is only a few feet away from Breckenridge Main Street, this is the place.

The only improvement I could offer, is to add wireless to the entire house (mesh networks are becoming popular these days). The back bedrooms and kitchen didn't get great internet connections. On the bright side, it forces families to visit instead of working on their connected devices. :)

I would stay here again.

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

Great house for large groups. Lots of Small rooms to meet in the house and a couple of large rooms for larger groups, including a large dining area. Lots of bedroom separation and bedroom configurations. Sooo... convenient to downtown. Everyone was pleased with the house. Rafi was also very responsive to our needs.

Perfect house in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends and the place was incredible. The house is in the center of downtown Breckinridge and within walking distance of everything. The house is also very large, very nice well-kept and spacious. I absolutely would recommend staying here.
