About Doug Siek
In 1960, my folks moved to Phoenix from Chicago and after spending their first summer in Phoenix they bought a cabin in Payson where I spent 10 summers before relocating to Tucson for school(UofA) and then on to Seattle for 23 yrs where my wife Patty and I raised our 3 boys. We decided to move back to Arizona and are now enjoying Payson and sharing the "Payson House" with others. Patty and I currently live in Payson and Tucson. My hope is that all who vacation at "The Payson House" thoroughly enjoy their stay and the incredible beauty the Rim Country has to offer.
Doug Siek purchased this House in 1980
Why Doug Siek chose Payson
The "Payson House was handed down to me from my parents. What a great gift to receive! My whole life ,I've always wanted to get involved in Real Estate in some capacity so when I heard about VRBO (HomeAway), I thought that would be a good way to share my place with family and friends.
What makes this House unique
The Headline tells the story. The Payson House is unique in that you feel very much in the forest and at the same time in a quite neighborhood close to town. My favorite place is on the swing on the deck in the morning with a cup-o-joe. Views of the mountains aren't too bad either!! Incredible Hiking just 2 minutes away due South in the Mountain Range you can view from our deck!....best Hiking in the payson area! Very quiet neighborhood!
keep in mind quiet hrs are 10pm-8am

The Payson House
The photos do not do this place justice. The entire place is perfect. After spending the day working at the ASU football camp at Camp Tontozona, coming back to the house to relax before grilling some steaks or burgers was a much needed break. Lots of options on the TV after dinner to unwind before starting the day again. Highly recommended not only the place but also the owners. Easy to communicate with.
This property was exceptional. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, we could sit out on the deck to watch the sunrise and enjoy the hummingbirds at the feeder. Our group was there for a softball tournament but had free time to golf, hike and share time together for bar-b-que meals. Would recommend this for any family or group of friends.
Great location for our family with adult children.
The house has a great layout. The patio lookout was a treat.
We enjoyed our stay. Great location, plenty of space and pet friendly!
Lots of space
We usually stay further from town however this time this location was perfect for our needs. The space was large enough to accommodate our growing family. I read previous reviews and they hold true. Felt like I was home. Thank-you Doug for sharing your place with us.
Great location! The house had an amazing view from the back deck.
Clean house. Great views. Amazing location!
