This cabin is terrific

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a week-long visit (August 12-19) at the Twin Mountain cabin. It was a fabulous experience. The house is so wonderful to hang out in--lots of space, really interesting woodsy decor, equipped with everything we needed (including the ping pong and pool tables). The view from the porch to Twin Mountain was stunning. We could not get enough of sitting there and watching the mountains. The location is great--really close to the Ammonoosuc River (where we swam on a few occasions), the Mount Washington Hotel, lots of hiking trails, and Bethlehem. This is not a busy part of the Whites, compared, say, to North Conway. You do hear traffic noise from Route 302, but you don't even think about it. It is a really secluded spot. Just a wonderful place to spend a week. We feel very lucky to have had the experience.

Absolutely Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We were visiting New Hampshire to do some hiking and see the sights, and this cabin was perfect. It is convenient to Bretton Woods, was very nicely appointed, and had beautiful views from the front porch.

Jeff was kind enough to leave breakfast items in the fridge, including some locally made plum jam (which was great), so that was a very nice surprise. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner both nights, and everything about the cabin was great. Jeff obviously spent a lot of time making this place special, and it was full of thoughtful touches. I would most definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone.

The house was great.

  • 4 of 5

The house had everything we needed to enjoy our 5 day stay. All the comforts of home. We enjoyed wonderful and magnificent views of the Fall foliage. Lots of space inside and out. A great location for visiting the White Mountains. Dining options are limited nearby so you have to drive a bit to get to them. (But the drives were beautiful.) There was some traffic sounds from a busy highway 302 just below the property line but it wasn't that disruptive. Our cell phone service was very spotty but that is not the fault of the place but our cell phones service. And no internet which we knew from the description. Also I don't like the "cancellations not refundable" policy because emergencies can happen. Lots of games, pool, ping-pong and even a hoop for shooting some basketball, so plenty of entertainment options and even a fire pit which we used once while viewing the Harvest moon. Overall a terrific place to stay.

We loved our stay at Twin Mountain Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived early evening and when we stepped out onto the back porch we were just amazed by the beauty of the yard and our mountain views, and so private. We enjoyed some campfires, lacrosse catches in the back yard and several meals on the porch. Inside the house was adorable yet spacious, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The basement pingping table and pool table was a nice surprise. The storage room in the entry room/ garage was an even added bonus as we brought bikes and could essily store them there. Location was great- not too far from Franconia Notch, N Conway, and Crawford Notch was just down the road. Hope to be back!
