She likes to meet people and the pleasure of making others happy.

This old Provençal farmhouse (former commandery) from the 18th century was abandoned before its purchase in 1990.

Accommodations were gradually renovated after construction of the pool.

Very peaceful and relaxing 10,500-sq.m garden is surrounded by Laurier roses.

The house is very comfortable and peaceful, with songs from birds and cicadas. Excellent beddings, secure pool enclosure, game room (ping-pong table, table football, library open to all).

Promised paradise, delivered hell

On arrival we found a piece of paradise surrounded by rice fields. On site the old stone Mas, buildings set amongst lovely gardens. Perfect for a quiet and peaceful base to explore some old favorites and find new ones.

The gite was adequate for a weeks stay. Decent large fridge freezer, good cooker and plenty of hot water, but does need some additional utensils like spatula instead of cake slice

We had a private patio and lawn area or so we thought. I did ask on arrival if it was quiet and peaceful - yes was the reply - perfect.

Unfortunately the 2 of the gites behind were a group of extended family members who thought and behaved like the site was their own. They were later in the week joined by a third family. I shall not ramble on but having had no sleep since arrival (because of their noise and behaviour) I had the audacity to complain to them. I don't expect it to be like a Cistercian monastery, all I wanted, expected and paid for was quiet and peaceful.

In the end at 11pm I called the owner who lives off site to sort things out. It then went quiet.

Morning arrived and we found an unpleasant gift on the door step so decided it was safer to leave a day early.

So far no response from the owner, its another of those gites where they take your money and leave you.

Could be a great place to holiday but quiet and peaceful it was not. People can not share and it ruined our stay there.

Wunderschönes Anwesen

Wunderschönes Anwesen in einem sehr schön gepflegten Park. Sehr freundliche unkomplizierte Vermieterin. Geeignet mit Kindern, auch unsere Hunde waren willkommen. Für Anliegen war die Vermieterin gut erreichbar und auch rasch vor Ort. Geeignet für alle die gerne etwas abgelegen, in der Natur ihre Ferien verbringen. Aigues mortes und Saintes Maries de la Mer sind beide in ca 30 Min. gut mit dem Auto erreichbar, ebenfalls für Fahrradfahrer eine ideale Gegend. Einzig der Anfahrtsweg dürfte besser beschrieben sein.

Es war für mich der perfekte Urlaub und wäre gerne noch länger geblieben.

Eine wunderbare Anlage. Der parkähnliche Garten ist sehr schön gestaltet, das Haus stilgerecht renoviert und mit großer Sorgfalt eingerichtet. Die beiden Pools unterstreichen die äußerst großzügigen Platzverhältnisse auf dem Grundstück. Wir würden jederzeit wieder einen Urlaub dort verbringen. Zum fünften Stern hat es nicht gereicht, da gelegentlich ein Besen mehr am Pool oder im Gemeinschaftsbereich nicht geschadet hätte...

Schönes, älteres Ferienhaus in super Lage mit Pool

Ein schönes traditionell Provenzalisches Hofgut mit insgesamt 4 bis 5 verschiedenen Gäste-Gruppen, zwei Pools, und viel Platz für Kind und Hund werden hier angeboten. Die Gebäude sind relativ ungepflegt aber für den Urlaub absolut OK.

Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin lief etwas schleppend - einen standardisierten Informationsbrief etwa zwei Wochen vor Ankunft hätte ich erwartet - an Stelle dessen gab es 4! Tage vor Anreise einen zwei-Zeiler mit Türcode und das war es. Dafür einen halben Stern Abzug.

Außerdem war bei Ankunft unser Apartment nicht besonders sauber - eben nur OK sauber. Außerdem war überraschend dass wirklich nur die Grundausstattung in der Küche vorhanden war - keine Gewürze, Schwamm, u.Ä. - und auch der Grill war leider schon sehr verrostet.

Zum Abschluss noch mehr Positives - es ist einfach eine sehr praktische Lage, um Städte der Region als auch Strände und Vögel (Flamingos) zu erkunden, zu erleben und zu bestaunen (Abends bis zum Sonnenuntergang in the Vogelpark ist ein Muss - es lohnt sich !) … und wenn man einen Tag ausruhen will – oder erst später los will – dann kann man die sehr guten Pools voll genießen.
