Why Dawn Bahr chose Deadwood

The location appealed to us right away. The home is conveniently located within the city limits of Deadwood. Deadwood Gulch Hotel, Restaurant, and Casino is located right across the road. Mickelson Trail is also located across the street where one can bike and walk. In certain winter months there is snowmobile access to the Mickelson Trail. One can grab the trolley across the street to catch a ride downtown. There is plenty of room for parking too.

What makes this house unique

Even though one is right in Deadwood the property has a sense of seclusion. One can enjoy the beautiful canyon views from the deck in the back of the home. There is lots of pine and birch trees. Deer often visit right in the front yard. Take a hike to the top of the canyon and enjoy the views.

Outstanding Property Mananged by Friendly Owners!

  • 5 of 5

Very impressed with our stay at The Red Lodge. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. Our Group all had motorcycles and the owners graciously offered the use of their secured garage. Having the restaurant, bar, casino and trolley stop across the street is a huge convenience. Grocery store just up the hill and beautiful Deadwood just down the hill made for a great stay. We took the short trail behind the garage to find a hillside full of wild raspberries. The new measuring stick for a well stocked rental is the ability to walk in, bake a birthday cake with what's already there, this place has it "licked"

Thanks Dawn and Terri!

See you next year!

Memorial Day Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Great location right across from the Deadwood Trolley yet the back of the yard goes up the mountain. Appreciated the half bath with the 2 1/2 bathrooms, made getting up and going in the morning more timely. Also enjoyed the pergola outside while we watched our granddaughters playing. Great home!

Great place, enough room,close location

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed the stay. Close enough for the trolley. Space was perfect.rec room was used greatly. Hot tub would have capped it off perfectly. But it was still great.

Thank you

Wonderful Property

  • 5 of 5

This was a cute little house. We enjoyed the deer in the front yard that visited us daily. It was quiet and clean and a great find. Our family really loved our stay! The location is perfectly located on the edge of town to explore in any direction. The back patio is large and nice and walking trails are just out the door.

Beautiful place, everything was so clean. Quite and able to enjoy deer in the yard every day.

  • 5 of 5

This house was very nice, and clean. Had access to the trolley at either the Gulch across the street or Comfort Inn down the hill. Depending on the time of day, lots of traffic, so we found the Comfort Inn a little easier access . The deer liked to camp out in the front lawn at night and in the morning they liked the back yard. An amazing place with all the comforts of home. We did not get to use the fire pit, large deck with a great view or gazebo (was a little to cold and didn't have enough time), maybe next time. Will rent again. Had a great time.

Perfect place to host a military reunion

  • 5 of 5

This place in Deadwood is in a great location, close to the Mickelson trail, casinos and eating places. The home had 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths which worked well for 4 couples. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes/silverware, pots and pans. spices and other essentials. The deck is huge and seats MANY. It is facing a ravine, a stream and rolling hills covered with spruce and aspen. The deer visited several times a day to eat apples and just to visit. One evening we sat around the fire pit just enjoying the crackling fire and crisp evening air. Couldn't have asked for anything more relaxing with old friends.

Dawn was very responsive to my emails before our visit.
