The apartment is very close to the sandy beach El Arenal, just a 4 minutes walk. It has heating and air conditioning making it ideal for visits all year round. Site access is by security key. Large swimming pool with whirlpool, gym with steam room, paddle tennis and squash courts and adjacent bar/restaurant and private marina which is overlooked from the balcony. The apartment has free WiFi.

Theme Parks.

There are 3 parks about 35 minutes drive away. Terra Mitica (Europe's largest theme park). Aqualandia (Water slides) and Mundomar (animals from land and sea).

Car Hire: Car hire can be arranged for collection and drop off at the airport. However, you may wish to consider transfers to and from the airport at a rate of approx. 200€ per return trip from Alicante Airport and approx 220€ return from Valencia Airport, per party as a car is not essential during your stay at Nou Fontana. Javea, with its renowned climate and Blue Flag beach, sits at the foot of Mount Mongo National Park. Its three areas are the Old Town, The Port and the Arenal with its sandy beach lined with shops, restaurants and cafe bars. Javea is about one and a half hours from Alicante and Valencia airports and about two and a quarter hours from Murcia airport. The route is mainly motorway.

Golf: There are 4 golf courses nearby. The 18 hole Olazabal designed course at La Sella being only 15 minutes drive away. The 9 hole courses at Javea and Moraira are 10 minutes and 15 minutes drive respectively. The 18 hole Oliva course is some 25 minutes drive away.

Excellent apartment with everything that you need.

Stayed in the apartment for nearly 3 months, Jan to March 2016. Really nice apartment, very well set up with all modern conveniences, including dishwasher and washer, UK TV with most channels and wi-fi that works really well, just a little slower when the block is full at the weekends than in the week. Two bedrooms ( one bunk beds), full bathroom and shower room also so ideal for 4 people and very spacious for a couple as we were. The balcony overlooks the boats in the marina, so nice view, got the sun in the mornings only when we were there, but the time in the sun was already getting longer when we left in late March as the sun got higher in the sky. The complex is gated and very secure with a nice pool complex, games room and gym, also a restaurant on site. Free car parking opposite the gate to the apartment. First come, first served, but never had a problem finding a space.

Just a 5 minute walk from Arenal Beach which is a lovely clean wide beach with shallow water quite a way out so good for kids, lots of restaurants and shops along the promenade near the beach and a Mas y Mas supermarket. Easy walk to Iceland, Lidl and Mercadona,. You can also walk to the port area in around 30 minutes.

Good places to visit, both lighthouses, the Caves of the Skulls ( Cuevas de las Calveras) in Benidoleig, Xativa Castle ( inland from Gandia) even better than Guadalest. Also you are only an hour from the attractions of Benidorm.

Good and prompt communication with Jim and the management agent Gordon. Would recommend.

Perfect Holiday

Where do I start?From the initial enquiry,superb service from start to finish.The owners corresponded with detailed information for our stay making it easy for us to organise transfers.

After a flight delay,we were out of sync with original plans.No need to worry.Whilst travelling to Javea, Moira and Gordon(who look after the apartment)contacted us en-route to tell us they would be there waiting to show us the apartment when we finally arrived.

When we did arrive we were delighted with what we saw.The apartment is in a secure complex overlooking Nou Fontana Marina.Ideally situated on the 2nd floor with views of the sea to the right and Montgo mountain to the left.The pool is large and ornate set in lovely surroundings.The gym is directly below the apartment and a restaurant is next door overlooking the marina.Peace is of the essence,no rowdiness at all.

The apartment,in our opinion,is second to none.Spotlessly clean with all amenities and furnished to a very high standard.Literally a home from home with all the essentials and a bit more.Gordon and Moira were in touch to tell us of the local fiestas that were taking place down at the port and urged us to call should there be any problems.There were none and I cant imagine there ever is.

Javea itself is a world away from the hustle and bustle of England.The Arenal beach is full of classy bars,chill out music abounds and the place comes alive at night,offering stunning views.Montgo mountain dominates the landscape and is omni-present wherever you go in Javea,wether it be down to port or further up to the old town where it is full of tapas bars and friendly locals.Montgo looms large and is very impressive.

The weather never went out of the 80s and made the holiday even better,but its a place where no matter the weather,life goes on at a sedate pace.

We spent a good few days just lounging by the pool on the complex as the setting was just so tranquil.Nights on the balcony looking out over a marina all lit up was a good way to end each day.

We had been looking forward to this holiday after a stressful year and really could not have picked a better place to unwind.Nou Fontana has made a big impression on us and we will be going back there for years to come.

A big thankyou to the owners for their professionalism in their correspondence with us prior to booking and thereafter,and to Gordon and Moira,who were such a great help to us in making our stay just perfect.

Comfortable and nice place to spend your holiday

Wonderful and perfectly located apartment with all necessary facilities. We enjoyed being so close to the cental beach and having a large and nice swimming pool at hand. The apartment was cosy and nicely furnished, it was clean and prepared for our arrival (welcome pack on the table :-)). It has not only dish-washer, deck-chairs and all necessary stuff, the owners thought of everyday life things which you may need on your holiday (e.i. dustbin liners, dishclothes, even egg holders). For the rainy days you could find some books, CDs, films and puzzles in the apartment. It was a really nice surprise. The owners provided very good service to us, even during unexpected circumstances. I can honestly recommend the place for everyone who is going to rest in a nice place at the sea. Me and my friends enyoyed the stay very much. From nearby restaurants we recommend Carnival and Acqua the food was really delicious (big portions, resonable price, waitresses smiling and helpful). From nearby activities we liked the trip to Guadalest Castle which is built in the rock. From the castle you can see a lovely turquoise lake hidden in the mountains. Also nearby cliffs are worthy seeing (Cabo the San Martin, Cabo Negro - we liked the short distance tracking to admire nice veiws at the end. Thank you for making our holidays so comfortable.

Excellent child friendly apartment

We have just returned from our stay in Javea after a great week in the sun. We could not fault the apartment which was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for a stress free family holiday. The pool on the complex provided endless hours of fun for the children, the shallow childrens pool providing a safe place for younger children to swim. The apartment is located a five minute walk from the beach and a varied array of child friendly restaurants.The communication provided by the owner and their local agent was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone looking for a family holiday.

Javea Apartment - Nou Fontana

The apartment is first class. It is well furnished and equipped with many home comforts including CD player, barbeque, dish washer etc etc.

Jim and Chris (the owners) are the perfect hosts and are always helpful and friendly. They also provide a taxi service from the airport if required.

The position of the apartment is brilliant, near to the beach and shops but at the same time it is quiet and relaxing.

Javea has many lovely restaurants and bars, and is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday either with or without children.

We are already booked for our 5th year and can definately recommend it.
