Quirky Property in Stoke Ferry
My Partner and I and 12 friends celebrated our joint 50th birthday's at this lovely property. The Windmill is set in lovely grounds and the view from the top is amazing. The 3 rooms in the windmill itself are quite open, so would recommend family or very close friends (which we are, so no problems for us!!). The main house has lots of cosy sitting areas and the kitchen has all you will need.
We had private dining on the Saturday with Gary and his son which was totally amazing and we could not recommend it more.
A lovely weekend which we even managed to get in the heated swimming pool in the rain and sun.
A super weekend!!
The Old Mill is the perfect property to spend time with friends and family. Many wonderful memories.
Everything about 'The Old Mill' makes me smile. It has been renovated so beautifully and has everything you need to make your stay a truly memorable one. We were a party of 17 , ranging in age from 5 to 78. There is something for everyone. Plenty of space for relaxing and so much to do. We had planned on exploring the surrounding area but we were having far too much fun in the pool and games room!! The large open plan kitchen and dining room was a favourite as all the family gathered to prepare and enjoy meal times. It also made a great dance floor! Sandra is a perfect host- friendly and approachable; she made us feel most welcome. Highly recommended for happy memories to be made.

Amazing Venue - needs some work doing
This is a spectacular property with fantastic facilities for adults and kids (pool, games room, big garden, big kitchen/diner, big table to seat all in mill).
Saying that it could do with a bit of cash spent on it - its cold - windows are old and let in the cold, kitchen needs updating - as do the cooking utensils/dishes, some bed linen needs replacing, new hoover? The patio needs re-aligning.
Be aware that 3 of the bedrooms are in the mill and have no privacy (no doors - you have to walk through the other rooms to get to the bottom, no bathroom facilities in the mill etc).
Great for a one off novelty.
80th Surprise Birthday
We booked the Old Mill at Stoke Ferry as a surprise for our mum’s 80th Birthday, and what a time we had!! Loved the accommodation and all the facilities. There were 10 of us staying and the property easily coped with us, the Mill was very clean and tidy with everything we needed. Couldn’t thank Gary & Sandra enough. We are planning our next stay!!
Beautiful and quirky property; very well done and maintained
We had a fantastic stay; the owners seemed very laid-back and everything was hassle-free.
We were there to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday, with family members aged from two to 75 - and all had a great time.
The property is stunning and a great balance between being practical and quirky.
The walk up the windmill and view from the top is stunning.
The location is great and area is lovely.
My only recommendation would be for some work on the games roomm.
