  • Bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully appointed. Closets in both. Great views looking down the valley from bedroom 2. Our kids love the bunk beds and there's a room for a third person with the pull out trundle bed. We have also added a second flat screen for DVD and Wii console so that the younger family members can have there own entertainment while you relax in the salon.

Notes:
The facilities are new, clean and well designed. As owners, we are delighted! We have added a microwave oven, raclette hotplate, fondue set to complement the kitchen. This is one of the few units with a wood burning fireplace in the salon with logs available at the reception.

Great apartment and fantastic view!

We stayed in the apartment for a week with 3 adults and a baby. There was a cot provided for the little one. The apartment complex is a high standard, with the reception staff being very helpful with everything to do with Flaine (including finding last minute restaurant booking for us after a bit of a drama...) and a free shuttle service around the village at night. There are activities in the complex nearly every evening after you get back from the slopes. The pool and sauna facilities are great, and there is also a small kids play area which was handy for us. The restaurant in the building is a good standard. There is a bus stop right over the road which heads to the slopes, but you can also walk down there if you dont mind a little exercise. The apartment is well setup with all the kitchen facilities you need to self cater for a few people. It has an amazing view from the balcony which is a bonus and ski in ski out from the ski locker room! Flaine is a nice village, not the prettiest of French ski resorts, but everything you need for an enjoyable holiday especially if you are a family. Wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a party, but for what we wanted it was perfect. Also to note, we used the Les Petit Loups nursery down in the village for our daughter. It is very reasonably priced and the ladies in there were really good with our daughter.

Owner's Response: Thanks for taking the time to share these details. Hard to fix the sins of the past when comes to 60's design of ski resorts in France but we see small improvements year to year with new construction.

Superb apartment in Flaine

We, a Dutch family of 6(4 teenagers), had a great ski holiday in the apartment. We loved the stunning view, the comfortable beds, sofa's and great shower. it was very convenient to ski in and out! Skiing back home brought us along to the SPAR (situated in a nearby building "H'elios")here we bought all our groceries (skiing downhills with our full bags for just a few meters). Also the SPA with swimming pool was a great plus: we went there every day!

Jon, the owner was very quick in answering all my questions; great service.

I definitely recommend this apartment: we will come back.

Excellent Apartment in 4star Building

Had a great stay, apartment is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. Ski in and out, short less than 10 min walk down into main village of Flaine. Spar shop and Ski hire in aparment block above so very convinient.

Well kitted out apartment and the building is just super, good resturaunt, lounge area with pool table & play area for kids. Super outdoor pool with Sauna & steam room.

Jon was very helpful with all our questions answered promptly and accuratly.

Would have stayed on but work called.

great holiday

We had a great time, the accommodation is very good quality with a great view over the village, the facilities in the building are excellent and staff are very helpful, we were a little unlucky in that the the ski in and ski out were not available due to lack of snow on the lower lifts but this opened by the end of the week, overall excellent all round.

Fantastic apartment with great facilities & views!

The apartment is modern, clean and quiet, and has everything you need. The complex has its own heated pool and jacuzzi, underground parking, restaurant and laundry. Staff are really friendly and helpful. In the summer, there are table-tennis tables outside which are free to use, and a short walk away down in the resort there are loads of kids activities on, which kept our 6-year-old son busy the whole week. One afternoon we took the cablecar up to see Mont Blanc and walked back down the mountain - beautiful. We also made a day trip to Annecy (just over an hour away) which was lovely. Will definitely return one winter for some skiing. The owner was super-helpful and gave us all the info we needed. We drove from the UK so stopped at the Carrefour in Cluses for provisions before heading up the mountain - there's also a Super-U at Magland right before you take the Flaine road.

Great apartment which benefits from being able to ski in and out of .

Fantastic ski in and ski out apartment. 5 adults travelled and there was sufficient room for all. The kitchen is well equipped and we did most of out cooking ourselves. Fantastic view over flaine bowl from the balcony. A spar supermarket is close by for provisions and a restaurant on site. There is a free laundry room and a minibus service in the evening to flaine foret although it is an easy walk. flaine is a quiet resort with good skiing and good snow record.

Short 1 hour drive or easy transfer service from Geneva Airport. 30 minutes by autoroute A40 direction Chamonix and then take exit 19 and continue 30 minutes into the Grand Massif mountains well marked destination Flaine village. Local taxis and free shuttle buses to nearby bussling villages and ski stations, Morillions and Les. Flaine village is above 1500m elevation virtually ensuring a wintry setting for all snow sports and activities. Our Montsoleil resort is a self contained, all season, pedestrian resort perched just above Flaine village with easy access to all winter activities or golf and tennis facilities for the remainder of the year.
