Quiet apartment, located on courtyards bright with large windows any height on the 4th floor. Very well arranged and restored retaining all the original features with oak parquet point of Hungary, moldings on all ceilings, wood paneling, with 4 marble fireplaces (one in each room) and mirrors.
Living area with bakery and patisserie, supermarket and frozen Picard, at the foot of the building, many restaurants in the surrounding streets (French brasseries, Italian, Lebanese, Chinese, ...). Saturday morning organic market on Boulevard des Batignolles in the corner.
East side, cinemas, nightclubs, bars and clubs are close to the Pigalle (Moulin Rouge). A little further on, the artists of Montmartre and alleys (Dali Museum), Sacre Coeur and the vibrant Abbesses.
West Side, the shopping activity of the Rue de Lévy (metro Villiers) and many restaurants cafes, the Parc Monceau with its greenery and kindergarten, the Ternes for shopping, then get on the place Etoile and the famous Champs Elysees.
South side after passing the Gare St Lazare, you are in 15 minutes walk on the Boulevard Haussmann (Galeries Lafayette & Printemps Haussmann) and ahead of Opèra Garnier. In continuation of the Grands Boulevards and mythical 'Passages' (Musee Grevin), the many pubs and theaters will brighten up your evenings. By day, you can admire the Place Vendôme and its luxury jewelers (Cartier, Chaumet, Boucheron, Dior, Van Cleefs, ...) or the Place de la Bourse and the shops of the Galeries Vivienne shopping street of the Small tiles.
Going down to the Seine, you pass Place de la Madeleine (Fauchon, Hediard, Knitwear, ...) to enter the Place de la Concorde and Rue de Rivoli, where you are sure to enjoy a African chocolate 'at Angelina opposite the Jardin Tuileries after visiting the Louvre.
Along the Seine, hop on a boat and see the docks with the Ile de la Cite, the island St Louis, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Chancellery, the Palace of Justice, before arriving at the ... Bastille, Les Halles and the Georges Pompidou Centre (Right Bank) or the district of St Germain des Pres, St Sulpice, the Arab World Institute, the Jardin du Luxembourg (Rive Gauche).
Without forgetting of course to stop at Champs de Mars to pass under the Eiffel Tower or admiring from the other bank of the Seine to the Trocadero Esplanade (Maritime Museum, Museum of Architecture, Paris Aquarium ).
Of course, you can also easily go transport eastward to Bois de Vincennes, or west to the Bois de Boulogne and the Jardin de Bagatelle, in the Parc de St Cloud, the Chateau de Versailles, ...
But anyway, you never stay long enough in Paris to explore all its mysteries and admire all its wonders.

Ideally located in the center of Paris in the triangle between Montmartre/Pigale, the Opera/Grands Boulevards (Printemps Haussman, Galeries Lafayette) and the Champs Elysées/Arc de Triomphe. Walking distance from the River Seine, Louvres museum and Trocadero & Eiffel Tower or easy connections by bus (66 at the doorstep to Opera), by tube (lines 2, 3, 13 on top of the street or lines 9, 12,14 at the bottom of the street) or RER at St Lazare train station.
Lots of restaurants at your doorstep, théâtres at walking distance and a very nice French bakery at the corner of the street.

The appartment was right in the middle of Paris. Very central located. You can walk or take the Metro to all the central places. Close to shopping and restaurants. Good for a family of 5.
