My trip to The Pink House was truly a life changing experience. As soon as you enter the grounds, you are immediately overcome by a sense of serenity. The landscaping is full of beautiful flowers and tropical plants that help offer some privacy, and make you feel like you are in your own personal paradise. I cannot even describe the beauty of the house itself, or the view of the bay...it is most definitely something to behold that you must see for yourself! The bright colors, authentic furnishing, and lavish landscape are only the beginning. Everything about this property is inviting, including the personal staff! To top off what is already such an amazing gem, there are endless activities to partake in that make the experience at The Pink House even more unique. I went kayaking and snorkeling on the bay, walked the shore in search of shells (down to an amazing little restaurant right on the bay with the best guacamole I've ever tasted!), swam in cenotes, visited the Coba Ruins, zip-lined, walked around in the town of Tulum, and took a day trip to Playa Del Carmen for some shopping! Everything you could want to do is either right outside the house, or just a short drive away. I mean, you can't get much better than that! No matter what you do or where you go, the house and the staff are there to cater to your needs and make sure that your stay is as relaxing and fulfilling as possible. There is a convenient store that is located right on the grounds, which has all your basic necessities and even some things that you didn't think you would need, but will definitely want to try out! I can't forget to mention the owner of the house, Jill, who is such an amazing person and one that is very passionate about what she does. She makes sure that you are well taken care of and that your stay in The Pink House is one that you will remember forever. Jill offered great insight to the local culture and even taught me a few spanish phrases! She can communicate very well with anyone she encounters and is truly one of a kind, just like her work of art 'The Pink house'.
This villa is a secret gem and I hesitate to tell anyone else about it. Its that good. The house and extensive garden are a funky museum, filled with art, sculpture, landscape architecture and at night magnificent lighting. A beautiful pool, shaded reading areas, a great roof deck, steps to a white sand/turquoise water beach with few others on it. Steps away is the fine dining Sahara restaurant, a magnificent garden with pools, great service and creative food design. Casa Rosa is away from everything, but all you need.
House is as described, except it looks better than pictures (seriously) it has many amenities we were able to enjoy such as paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling in the bay. we were a group of 7 and fit comfortably. The ground and home keepers Berta and Pancho are as sweet as pie and so easy to communicate with, same as with Jill the home owner, responsive, nice and sweet.
The location of the Pink house is awesome as it only took us 10-20 minutes to get to Tulum (main strip) and is located in a private, quite and safe area in Soliman Bay.
We will definitely be returning to this paradise.
Thank you Jill, Berta and Pancho for making my 40th birthday vacation a memorable one.
I'm not sure I want to leave this review only because I want to keep this beautiful home a secret! We spent a glorious week here spoiled by the gorgeous weather, amazing bay, off-the-beach snorkeling, sunning by the pristine pool (tended to daily by Pancho) and that wasn't even inside the house. We had the pleasure to meet Jill, the owner, upon arrival, and got a personal tour of the gorgeous property, fish river, and the house, which is a virtual contemporary Mexican art museum thanks to her exquisite and colorful taste. Everything about the home left us in awe as we admired the small details and fun lighting features which were hidden in every corner. The beds and linens were divine, paired with the daily tidying by Berta, we honestly never wanted to leave the house, though we did venture down the road to Xel-Ha for one day. We also had the good fortune to experience Berta's classic Mexican cooking, and I'm salivating now just thinking about our dinner. My husband and I joked with our girls that we apparently took them on the best honeymoon they could expect, and now we just have to figure out when we can return!
We had a wonderful time at the Pink house. What a beautiful spot it is. We didn't know Soliman Bay and we fell in love:)
Great location right on the beach, with fantastic views.
The owner gave us all the info we needed and answered all questions we had. Highly recommended !!!!!
I lived in the Riviera Maya area for 6 years and my family has visited often. This was by far THE BEST place we have stayed.
Especially right now with the crazy seaweed phenomenon happening, it was wonderful to have the protection of the bay. The paddleboards and kayaks were super fun.
The decor and colors all around the house made it that much more amazing. Love the crystal bathroom as well.
Pancho & Berta were fabulous as well.
We all were super happy!
