Newly remodeled and furnished two story home near southwest shore of Big Green Lake in central Wisconsin. Surrounded by trees and located in quiet neighborhood, this property is the perfect getaway location for a romantic weekend, girls or guys trip or an unforgettable family vacation. Comfortably sleeps ten with three full baths. The house is not on the lake, but just across the street offering gorgeous sunset views from the deck. Close (less than 2 miles) from Dodge Memorial County Park which offers public boat launch lanes ($5.00 per launch), picnic areas with tables and grills, sand beach, rest rooms, playground. The sand beach is great for little kids and big kids alike. Enjoy the shops and entertainment of the city of Green Lake (15 minute scenic drive around the lake). Also convenient (30 miles - 40 minute drive) to the world famous EAA AirVenture Oshkosh - an International Fly-in that attracts over 1/2 a million people per year and takes place the last week in July. Look for more facts about EAA on their website. Visit Amish Country near Dalton, Wisconsin (25 minute drive). Enjoy the fabulous Pleasant View Amish Bakery for amazing donuts, pies, breads, soft pretzels and more (open year round on Fridays and Saturdays 8:00am - 4:00pm, closed Sundays). Also worth your while to stop in at Mishler's Country Store where you can buy spices in bulk and many other interesting items (closed Thursdays and Sundays). The bakery has extended hours in the summer - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:00am - 4:00pm. Princeton, WI is home to "Wisconsin's Largest Outdoor Flea Market" which runs from late April through mid October every Saturday from 6am to 2:00pm. Princeton (10 minute drive from the house), is home to several quaint shops and restaurants. Be sure to visit Twister for unique clothing, kitchen items, games for the kids, coffee bar and beer and wine selection. Other shops in Princeton worth a stop include Pastimes books and gifts, daiseye (eclectic clothing, earth friendly offerings), Jean Plout Studio and Gallery, Teak and Soxy (statement art, furniture and clothing). For a delicious breakfast or lunch, stop in to Once in a Blue Moon - don't forget to try one of their cream pies for dessert!! Fifteen minute drive to the popular Heidel House Resort and Spa featuring several dining choices, boat rentals, spa services and more. Several boat rental outlets to choose from including Action Marina (sport/luxury pontoons, waverunners, ski boats, paddle boards, kayaks and more), Shoreline Boat Center (pontoons), Bay View Motel Resort (pontoons, Lund deluxe fishing/cruising boat). The Green Lake Conference Center is a 15 minute drive from the house. This long standing gem in Green Lake offers boat rentals, hiking trails, swimming beach, shops, cafeteria and coffee shop. Gorgeous views from the top of Judson Tower!! The town of Green Lake has several festivals/activities of interest including Friday afternoon Farmer's Market in the town square from 3:00 - 6:30pm featuring local farmers and artisans, live concerts in Deacon Mills Park on Wednesday nights from early June through early August (many styles of music - UW marching band concert is one of the faves), the Chalk Walk - takes place in June, for artists of all ages and levels!! spectacular 4th of July celebration which can be viewed from land or lake, water ski show in late July, and my favorite, Harvest Fest in late September "This two day celebration transforms downtown Green Lake into a haven for all things fall! With a craft fair, farmers market, food vendors and live entertainment, what more could you ask for?" (source visit green lake website). Other cool events to check out, angler young angler (fishing event for whole family), 13dot1 Green Lake half marathon, boat jam, brew fest, fine arts fair, Green Lake County Fair, Green Lake Festival of Music, Green Lake Tour of Homes, Oktoberfest, Sunsplash, Whooping Crane Festival (Princeton), Wine Fest, State Chili Cook-off and the Wooden Boat Show. Check the visit green lake website for details. Green Lake, WI is the deepest natural inland lake in Wisconsin at 237 feet deep. Trout, walleye, smallmouth bass, catfish, white bass, yellow perch, northern pike, largemouth bass, muskie, crappie and more fish await your angling expertise!! Reilly's Pub is less than a mile from the house and is super delicious. Many other good restaurants to choose from in the Green Lake area - The Goose Blind, Christianos Pizza, Norton's (you can dock your boat there while eating!), Sharkz Brewz and Bitez (another one where you can arrive by and dock your boat), Guth's End of the Trail Candy Shoppe, Bayview Landing Ice Cream Parlor (so cute and hand scooped ice cream), Little Corporal (check it out for breakfast!), Adam's Rib and more. If dining in Princeton, The Pizza Factory is a must try!! Their selection of pizzas includes Mike's spaghetti pizza (a family fave), Mexican, California, Seafood Alfredo, Bacon Double Cheeseburger (yes, this is a pizza choice) and many more!! Pasta and other dishes available as well.

4. Dogs MUST be kenneled if leaving the property for long periods of time.
5. Number of dogs and breed MUST be pre-approved by owner.
6. Renter will be charged for any property damaged by dogs.
7. Quiet Hours 10:00pm - 8:00am
8. Clean out microwave and stove/oven.
9. Place bagged garbage into garbage cans outside (snap them closed to keep critters away) and taken to curb before leaving. Garbage day is Monday.
10. Unplug Keurig, blender - all small appliances before leaving.
11. Turn off well before leaving. There is a switch marked "well" in the basement. Please turn to off position upon departure.
12. Follow posted rules regarding whirlpool tub.
13. Windows and doors must be closed if running the heat or air conditioning.
We understand normal wear and tear (i.e. broken mug, etc...), however, excessive property damage will be the financial responsibility of the renter and renter will be charged. Excessive property damage is anything which costs owner more than $50.00 to repair or replace.
