This spacious well maintained townhouse style villa ia an attractive position overlooking the pool and gardens of this select development. As well as overlooking the gardens and pool the house has a private rear garden and roof sun terrace, both furnished with furniture and sunloungers. Jardines de Nerja has its own private car parking areas, the town bus stops outside and the bars restaurants and supermarkets are all a short walk away. The location is quiet but has easy access to all you need in Nerja, being a few hundred yards from the roundabout at El Capistrano where you will find Tennis/ bowls clubs as well as Mercadona and Supersol supermarkets.

The nearest beach is Burriana beach with a good selection of restaurants, especially fish and paella. The property is available as a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom, the third bedroom being a self contained studio apartment with its own access. This flexibility is reflected in the rental pricing and makes the house attractive to a family group or two couples. The house has a well equipped kitchen, lounge (including TV with various channels including BBC/ITV and Sky Sports), up stairs are two bedrooms and bathroom, downstairs is apartment/bedroom3.

Our holiday home: The property is used by the owners as their holiday home, we take care and pride in our houses and its facilities.

The house is fully equipped for a relaxing holiday. Extras such as cots and high chairs can be arranged through our property manager who has an office in the town centre. Rooms are also equipped with ceiling fans, all rooms are of generous size with plenty of storage space. Strictly no smoking.

Lovely house in quiet complex

Lovely, well equipped comfortable house in a complex that is beautifully landscaped and family friendly. The house had everything we needed and the ceiling fans were very welcome in the August heat! Booking was straightforward and Stephen is a very helpful host - answering all of our questions very promptly. Nerja is a great place to stay - plenty going on in the town and surrounding area, and the house and complex offered a peaceful place to relax round the pool.

The property was rather spartan and in need of some tlc.

We usually spend 2 months each year in Nerja over the winter months and have stayed in many rental properties over the years. Unfortunately, this one did not do it for us. Although the property was in a nice location and of a reasonable size, it was spoiled by the lack of some basic maintenance. The lock on the patio doors was broken and we were informed by residents that other tenants had mentioned it before. It was necessary to pull some old heavy metal grating over them and secure it with a heavy duty industrial type grill lock. This gave the feeling of being imprisoned. Also, the duvets on the beds were far too small and light for adults and definitely not appropriate for the Spanish winter nights. Throughout the night one was always pulling at the duvet to try and keep at least some part of the body covered. No blankets were provided as a back-up.

Due to the lack of any real decorative warmth and its sparsely furnished appearance, it was apparent that the property was a holiday rent. Not what one would expect for a 4 week rental. The house clearly needs some serious money spent on it to bring it up to modern standards. Many of the floor tiles were scratched, chipped and scraped which gave the impression of being dirty. To be fair, the house was clean but unfortunately there was a grubby unkempt appearance around the floors, doors, etc. Some of the doors on the kitchen units were held together by tape and drawers ill-fitting. Overall, this left one with a unpleasant feel about the place. Not a house we would readily return to.

Excellent for a relaxing holiday

We stayed at 3 Jardines de Nerja for a week and had a very relaxing time. The villa is well laid out and very well appointed - made very good use of the wi-fi, the rear garden and, especially the sun-roof. Did not use the communal swimming pool as it was a bit too cold for that, but did enjoy a few games of pétanque using the boules in the villa.

The booking process and information provided before departure was first class, as was the folder of information in the villa when we got there.

Nerja is a nice town with plenty of good places to eat and some lovely sea views, all set against a dramatic mountain skyline. A visit to Frigiliana was a highlight (only €1 on the local bus) as was a walk up the Chillar valley. Must take proper walking shoes next time to make the most of the stunning countryside!

Transfer by public transport from Malaga airport to Nerja was cheap and easy to use and, because of the early morning return flight, a taxi pre-booked online (using the villa's wi-fi) with Nerja Taxis was also easy to sort out to get back to the airport.

Would we return - definitely - the villa, the town and the region were excellent for the relaxing break we wanted and undoubtedly got.

Jardines de Nerja is a small development of just 35 houses set on the edge of the pretty resort of Nerja. Suitable for both families and couples Jardines de Nerja enjoys a superb location with a short walf of amenities but a peaceful position with outstanding views of sea and mountains, This is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday or as a touring base for the many places of interest including Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Gibraltar. There also many pretty white towns and unspoilt beaches a short drive away too. The town of Nerja has an authentic Spanish feel and is home to 400 bars and restaurants, offering huge choice and value for money.

Charges quoted are for 2 bedrooms, up to 4 persons. You can rent the studio (together only with house) for an extra £75 per week except July/August £100 per week.
Prices may be subject to change at owners discretion.
We offer special rates fot two persons outside main season of July-August, just ask us to quote a price. Bookings can be any day to any day subject to availabilty.
Deposit is £100 per week, balance due 6 weeks prior to holiday date. Payment normally in pounds sterling, but we can accept euros. Ask us to quote you a price in euros if you wish to pay in euros. Prices are inclusive of electricity.
We can organise a range of extras including cots, high chairs, welcome pack-just ask. Also we can organise a taxi for you to and from the airport, also we can help organise car hire.
Available for long term winter let usually January to March, Ask for a quote.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
