Seul le premier étage est loué avec accès indépendant ; le second logement est occupée uniquement par les propriétaires. La location comprend un libre accès à la grande piscine, au pool house, à l'immense jardin. Tous ces espaces sont totalement indépendants et sans vis à vis et sont entièrement privatisés. Beautiful views, tranquil rural location. Easy access to Niece old town.

Loved Villa Angel. It’s was a slice of peaceful heaven. The villa views are to be envied and encourage a glass of wine and bbq in the evening on the terrace. We were a party of four and the villa was plenty big enough but think you could struggle with six staying as there is only one bathroom! The toilet is separate which helps. We had everything we needed but found the lack of a conventional oven a little testing and resorted to using the Webber bbq all of the time we wished to cook. Our host Olivier was most helpful and fulfilled any requests we had, from restaurants to shopping to a local restaurant within walking distance. That restaurant was excellent and although they spoke little English and we little French we all managed to order and had a wonderful meal.

As the property is rural the roads were very narrow and the road into Niece was very windy, not good if you get car sickness. You will need a car as a taxi is difficult to come by. The smaller the car you can manage with the better, the parking is at a premium and the car parks in Niece are very, very narrow as are the spaces. Most of the French had a small Clio or smart car. All in all we had a lovely relaxing holiday.

Beautiful villa with a great location

Everything went fine with our stay, the owners are nice and the place is superb. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated and has a huge balcony with an amazing view of the valley and the sea in the distance. The area is nice and quiet, the scenery is beautiful and the seaside is just about 10 minutes away by car.

Fantastic holiday on the French Riviera

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. The house is very spacious, the garden lovely, and the swimming pool wonderful. The owners are very friendly and gave us information about the area. We are extremely satisfied with our holiday!

Best Holiday quiet on the French Riviera

We spent extra holiday. We were two couples with a child each.

The house was really luxurious and very practical:

- WIFI is installed throughout the house, the pool house and the swimming pool: it was very convenient with our IPAD

The pool was wonderful, the temperature close to 30 degrees

We saw that the photos really reflect reality.

The interior of the house was convenient and design

- A living room with a beautiful huge TV and all foreign channels.

- We could hear the music throughout the house with AIRPLAY system.

- The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, a washing machine, oven, Nespresso machine: nothing has been forgotten.

- The rooms and the bathroom are design, mattresses very good.

We slept very well, the location is quiet in the countryside. Furthermore air conditioning helps freshen the house if it's too hot.

The location was terrific, we have enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night. The garden and pool are well maintained.

The kids had great fun in the pool and swing set for them.

We could quickly go to the beach (10min drive) and visited Nice, Monaco, Antibes, Cannes very easily because the house is very well placed.

In conclusion, this is one of our best holiday rental: We found there the quiet of the countryside, the sun and rest.

We can not wait to return.

Beautiful sunsets, but not tranquil

My wife and I just spent a week here (arrived June 20/15). We were looking for a central location near Nice but also wanted something quiet, serene. That was how the place was marketed.

It was central (but make sure you rent a small car since the roads are very, very narrow everywhere and bring a huge amount of patience and nerves - the drivers don't understand or show any sense of courtesy and the drive to the vila is up a windy mountain road where oncoming traffic is routinely in your lane, at twice the speed limit. Be ready for your spouse to scream at a moment's notice!).

As for the serene part:

- the next door neighbor's kids scream in their pool next door, day and night (don't ask the owners of this villa to help - they don't want to upset the neighbors and won't do anything about it). We even talked to the neighbors ourselves, in vain.

- the owners of the villa had parties 3 nights out of the 7 nights we stayed there. A couple of the parties were quite loud. And since the French smoke like chimneys, we had to go inside and close our doors to avoid the smoke. Thanks for the great European doors and windows, because they kept the loud parties to dull roars and kept oxygen in our apartment.

- when the neighbor's kids weren't screaming like they were being attacked by wild boars, their dog would bark to replace the momentary silence. That was a nice touch.

- this is a residential area so expect the sounds of a "normal" suburb. We heard the sound of chainsaws many times, dump trucks unloading rocks and gravel, scooters and loud motorcycles racing on the road next to the villa in a hurry to get to work at 6 am each day, and people watching TV in the evenings.

We did end up having one day when no one was around and could enjoy the view and the pool. That was a good day. But we were always anxious about going back because we expected anything but a quiet place to relax after a long day.

The sunsets are amazing but we only enjoyed it in solitude one night.

Overall, it was a good sized apartment and close to most of the sights in and around Nice. But unless you are deaf and don't mind living with another family below and beside you that treat you as if they were close relatives but wished you weren't really there, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Owner's Response: We are very glad you had a good week as you've told us upon departure. However all like to respond to some points raised that seem inappropriate. The road leading to the property is a road way around Nice quite standard in the region: it is obviously not a 3 lane highway but you are in the countryside and that's what makes the charm of this property. Otherwise you are actually in the countryside in a residential area: the few barking dog and a few cries of children from the neighboring are part of the life of a neighborhood, just like the cicadas, frogs, chickens and sheep that are also part of the environment of this place that you do not speak: it is a shame because nothing beats the charm of the countryside and beyond all our guests have praised the area for these reasons. We wish to inform our future guests that the road to the property is from a dead without road traffic; Only residents can circulate to actually go to work, "despite unemployment there is still the French working" Another point that we met: you had indicated that you had enjoyed the solarium terrace where every day you have prepared a barbecue while watching the amazing sunsets sun. In the announcement, it is well noted 'apartment in the top of Villa, "you are not necessarily alone in a detached villa and so the owner living on the ground floor can also prepare barbecue while respecting its neighbors and that in the case contrary to what is indicated. Finally, all our guests without exception have enjoyed the longevity of the place, the quality of the environment and the rental and I do not think they were "deaf". There are sometimes independent external elements beyond our control may upset the continuity of the place for a childless couple looking for the absolute quiet of a "desert island" but it is very anecdotal in the year and this is unique to All vacation rentals. We are and will always be listening to the feedback from our guests and that is why many vacationers keep coming back every year. Thank you for your trust and hope to see you soon.

Une semaine à la hauteur de nos espoirs

Une superbe semaine à la villa Angel.

Famille avec 2 ados, nous nous étions décidés après avoir lus tous les commentaires dithyrambiques la concernant; le moins que l'on puisse dire est que nous n'avons pas été déçus. La villa est tout à fait conforme à ce que les photos descriptives reflètent. Superbe piscine sur un terrain avec une vue splendide, au sein d'un jardin très soigné, écrin de verdure parfaitement entretenu. Au calme, proche des commerces, facile d'accès. L'appartement est spatieux, décoré avec goût et bien équipé, la terrasse magnifique pour des repas panoramiques appréciés !

Pour ceux qui cherchent un endroit au calme, protégé de l'agitation du bord de mer, sans être trop éloigné et isolé dans l'arrière pays, avec commerces à proximité, en position centrale pour rayonner de Menton à Cannes, c'est le plan parfait.

Enfin, je terminerai par les propriétaires, Emilie et Olivier, dont l'accueil, les attentions et les conseils étaient à la hauteur des prestations de leur villa.
