About Nattana Johnson
We have continued to add to our collection of vacation rentals since 2010. We have 5 in Grand Junction and one in Aspen. We do it as a full time business and are available and responsive to renters needs. We truly want your vacation to be flawless, and while we know you didn't come to stay at one of our properties, we want it to be comfortable and a place to remember with all the comforts of home.
Nattana Johnson purchased this House in 2016
Why Nattana Johnson chose Grand Junction
Location is ideal, close to town (only 5 miles) yet total privacy and you can hike/bike from the house. It is also very close to where we live, so easy to be oversee, meet with guests if needed etc.
What makes this House unique
Hike/bike right from your door, 4 bedrooms, GREAT FOR KIDS or a group of friends, dog friendly with fenced area and mudroom.
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
Great place to stay. The views are unreal.
We had a great stay at this amazing property.
Early spring bike trip
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The layout was perfect for a group of friends and pup. Was well appointed with kitchenware and comfy beds. The view from a massive patio was beautiful! Would highly recommend and plan to visit again. Was hoping to bike fruita (even though early season) but was rained out so we took a short day drive to moab to bike and headed back to the house that evening to play games!
Thank you for the review...so Moab trails were not wet? That is good to know. It is only a beautiful 1-1.5 hour drive away so certainly doable and glad you pointed it out. We have had a weird amount of moisture this year for sure. Sorry you got rained out, do come again soon. :)
The property is gorgeous and highly recommend for the outdoor enthusiast
It’s newly remodeled and a gorgeous view.. everything was perfect ..
Beautiful view , clean , many supplies available
Clean , beautiful home!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Red Bike House! It is updated & clean. There is everything you could need. Much better than renting motel rooms! With the 4 bedrooms, I had the master upstairs, my 2 adult daughters each had a room & my grandson had a bedroom. There are two boxes of toys in his room, which delighted my grandson! They provide so many things that you may have forgotten, like a bag of Starbucks coffee, condiments, shampoo, conditioner & body soap. More than enough dishes, baking utensils, pots & pans! It's a well supplied house.
For us, the location was perfect, close to Colorado National Monument Park & many, many hiking trails. You are minutes away from downtown Grand Junction & also any shopping you may want to do. I even scheduled an oil change for my jeep while I was there because I couldn't fit it in at home before we left for our vacation!
Nattana quickly answers any questions or comments I had such as we had one less person coming than I originally booked and also we didn't bring all our dogs as originally planned.
All of us wished we had booked the house for longer, it was perfect for our family! We have actually talked about moving to the area because it's such a great location for outdoor activities. I kept saying that I would want this house though because the views of the city at night are breath taking! Booking a house up in the "hills" is the way to go! Privacy and yet everything is within minutes of this house! My soon to be 4 year old grandson said he "sure missed our vacation house!" when we came back home!
Also, we only rent houses where we can take our dogs. I have three with health issues, one has to have 3 meds 2X a day (although he was one that ended up staying home with my son-in-law) and one who has dry-eye and needs his eyes to be cleaned off and on all day & drops & meds put in. I couldn't leave either of them with a kennel with their issues. I also have a Yorkie who has no inner ears (deaf from the surgery that saved his life) that was a rescue. He is very attached to me because of trust issues. So I only travel where they can come along. Finding houses that allow that is a blessing! We go out of our way to keep houses clean and orderly, mostly because that's what we do at home & also I do not want to ruin it for the next family that travels with their pet!
I can not recommend this house enough, we truly enjoyed everything about it! Thank you Nattana and your family!
Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review, and helpful to travelers...We have never had guests with pets leave absolutely no trace of their pets before, not even a noseprint on the glass...And we are so glad you could travel with them and have them feel safe.
We do hope you come visit again.
Etch A Sketch
My son and I stayed here for four days and had a wonderful time. The home is well appointed with everything we needed, it is comfortable and the owners are very responsive. If you appreciate a spectacular view as much as I do this home is a must and the pictures don’t do it justice. This was my first time in GJ and I made the observation that the city planners must have used an Etch A Sketch to design the roadways but I was used to that in two days.
We cooked in two nights but also went out to 626 on Rood, Il Bistro Italiano, Hot Tomato in Fruita, Old Chicago and Bin 707. All were very good but I may have gained a few lbs. Played golf at Tiara Rado. Nice course with reasonable prices and amazing views of the monument. Stopped by Two Rivers Winery for a tasting and picked up a few bottles of good local wine. The most remarkable thing we did was to drive the Colorado National Monument and do a few hikes along the way. I knew nothing about the monument and was blown away by the natural beauty. This is a must for any trip here.
Haha, yes our roads are funny....but the do make sense after a bit. thanks for taking the time to provide this info for travelers, I am feel the Co National Monument is a hidden treasure : )
