Mexico City was listed as the #1 place to visit in the New York Times Places to Visit in 2016¨ http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/01/07/travel/places-to-visit.html?_r=0 and our neighborhood was featured in this article, ¨getting to know the city means diving into its colonias. In the shadow of Paseo de la Reforma, the city’s grand boulevard, the Colonia Cuauhtémoc, beckons business travelers and tourists alike, with the new design-conscious and an increasing number of restaurants. ¨ Our apartment is surrounded by a large variety of restaurants, cafes, delis, boutiques, and an art house theater. The neighborhood is safe and the apartment has a live-in doorman. There is a gym, a yoga studio, a supermarket, several convenient stores, and a Mercado (farmer’s market) close by.
We LOVE the location of our place and so will you!
2 Bedrooms, spaciousness, quiet, modern, best location, in Mexico City, wifi, cable, telephone, doorman, safety, surrounded by great restaurants, cafes, bars, parks, museums, and cinemas, .
I enjoyed the location and all the space in the apartment. I was traveling with a friend and the two bath two bedroom setup was perfect. Antonio the driver was a great resource and Marco was most helpful. When we discovered a leak underneath the kitchen sink, the response was immediate and most professional.
My friend found the noise levels at night (bars) and in the morning (construction) troubling, but I did not. If you're a light sleeper, the apartment might not work for you. Otherwise it is a very comfortable apartment in a great location.
Stayed here with my partner and my mother in October to experience Day of the Dead festivities. This apartment was perfect! The owner was friendly and the gentlemen who work with the renters are friendly and professional.
The apartment was in a great area. Safe to walk around, plenty of choices for dining, and near to public transportation. Great vibe, lots to see and do.
The apartment was impeccable. Very clean with lovely furnishings. It was spacious and comfortable, offering 2 large bedrooms. The washer and dryer was an appreciated bonus.
There is nothing negative to say. If you are staying in the area, this is the place to reserve!
My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved everything about it! The biggest plus is the location. So many great little spots to eat in the neighborhood. Try Chiquitito for breakfast, so cute and yummy! The area is lovely, safe and full of life in an easy way.
The beds were very comfortable, loved having bottled water available in the apartment (thank you!), the kitchen is well equipped (even though we ate out every meal), things are relatively quiet at night.
I can't say anything bad about this apartment. If I ever come back, I'll stay here! We used Antonio, the driver, and he was very good. Marco was very hospitable. This refuge made our trip so much more enjoyable, thanks!
My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 4 nights, 5 days and enjoyed the experience fully. The location was perfect to walk to various locations, eateries were nearby and were of a variety that added to the experience of Mexico City. Antonio, the driver was wonderful and took us to various places, waited or came back for us and showed thorough patience despite the traffic congestion. I will recommend this location to others as well as come back. Wonderful experience!!
We enjoyed our religious, cultural and shopping stay in CDMX. The apartment is very convenient to public transportation, restaurants and ATMs. There is a fruit, vegetable, meat, flower and tortillaria just a couple blocks away behind the USA embassy and a superama grocery store a few blocks farther away. The apartment is as pictured and described on the web site. Marco, their manager, thoroughly described the working of the apartment and the surrounding area. We prepared breakfast each morning and many dinners, because the kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is fairly quiet despite being located is the heart of a huge city (21 million in Mexico City area). We highly recommend this apartment for comfort, furnishing and location.
Clean and comfortable space in an excellent neighborhood! My wife and a friend stayed here for a week in October and LOVED it. Cafes, restaurants, a coffee house and an excellent Japanese Noodle bar right across the street. We hired Antonio to drive us to Teotihuacan, otherwise we walked into Roma and La Condesa and enjoyed this amazing city. Jennifer and Maria were awesome hosts! Very friendly and accommodating! Highest recommendation!

Our neighborhood has a European feel to it as it is surrounded by a large variety of restaurants, cafes, delis, an art house theater, a cinema, and many boutiques for your enjoyment. The neighborhood is safe and the apartment has a live-in doorman. Our apartment is located in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, an ideal starting point to explore Mexico City since it's walking distance to historical, cultural and popular locations around the city. Our place is a couple of blocks from the grandiose landmarks of The Angel of Independence and The Diana Fountain on Reforma Avenue. We are walking distance to the Anthropology Museum, the Contemporary Art Museum, the Rufino Tamayo Museum, and Chapultepec Park as well as the Historical Centro, which includes the Theater of Fine Arts (Bellas Artes), the Zocalo, and multiple museums and iconic restaurants. There are buses that constantly run along Reforma Ave that will take you directly to any of these sites in less 20 minutes. Other popular neighborhoods such as Condesa, Roma, and Polanco are walking distance or a short bus ride away from our place. We are a few blocks from La Zona Rosa where you will find many galleries, antique shops, and shopping during the day and bars and night clubs at night.
If you are in Mexico City on business, our location is also optimal since we are walking distance to many embassies (American, British, Japanese, and Colombian), the Mexican headquarters of HSBC, and American Express, American Airlines, Continental and many other important businesses. Most importantly, since we are centrally located you won’t spend hours in traffic traveling from one part of the city to the other.
