Kings Cross-St Pancras has been transformed: St Pancras is a lively, bustling area with many restaurants, bars and cafes including the longest champagne bar in Europe (in the Gothic St Pancras International station). You will find a Time Out guide to London’s restaurants and shops in the house. The area has seen a great deal of development in recent years and visitors who remember Kings Cross-St Pancras from days gone by will be surprised at its transformation. Victorian canalside warehouses have been restored to house new apartments, restaurants and bars and crumbling industrial buildings have been swept away to make way for new hi-tech offices, shops, art galleries (including the cutting-edge Gagosian Gallery) and Kings Place, a new concert hall that is home to the London Sinfonietta and offers concerts and cultural events nightly. The British Library is a 10 minute walk away - treasures include Mozart scores, Beatles lyrics, Shakespeare First Folio and Magna Carta (1215).

The flat is in a quiet side road with restricted one way traffic 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancras station (zone 1) with its excellent transport facilities. Most central London destinations are a 10 minute tube ride away. The British Museum is in walking distance and the British Library is around the corner. Please refer to the map.

VISITING OUR FLATS BY CAR: We recommend you do NOT bring your car, there is superb public transport facilities at the doorstep..There is very limited parking on the street,it is expensive and all on meters. In addition there is a daily 'Congestion Charge' to drive into central London (tel: +44 845 900 1234) for further details. Please check www.ncp.co.uk for the nearest secure car park if you absolutely must bring a car.

We would like to recommend that you peruse the customer reviews.

Great flat

  • 5 of 5

We lived in apartment nr. 4. IT was just repaired. The new sofas in livingroom was very comfortable for sleeping.

We had everything we needed. Apartment was small but there's plenty of room for all of us.

The location is good, few minutes walk to tube station.

We had a perfect time in central London and we will back . Thank You Debbie !

Clean, newly decorated property

  • 4 of 5

Very nice maisonette with 2 good double beds. Lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Sofa bed was ok but glad we ended up with just one person sleeping in it.

It was a little noisy with the underground trains but that was why we initially booked the top flat. Flat felt secure and it was in a really good position.

Central location not a well equipped kitchen as advertised. Property was not to a good standard . Carpet needs cleaning dishwasher had left over corn in base. Dryer lint not cleaned out Cracked tiles in bathroom faulty light over vanity.Manager did supply disposable oven trays on request . I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND. Local shops and restaurants were in a good location

Owner's Response: We were somewhat surprised and saddened to receive this review from Penne, and cannot understand how her experience is at complete odds with all the other guests who've stayed in 36 (flat 4). When she first arrived she said that the flat was not as described however it transpired she had mixed up 36 (flat 4) with 36 (flat 3). She also asked for a roasting tray which we provided, although the kitchens are in our view well equipped we do not foresee every eventuality for reasons of space, but are always happy to provide anything within reason on request which we did. I would ask you to consider this review in the light of all the other positive ones we have received for 36 (flat 4) and we will redouble our efforts to enhance our already high quality products further. To this end we have just made extensive improvements to 36 (flat ) including a new family bathroom, better use of living space, new lighting and have repainted throughout along with a small external outside area. This as well as our ongoing repaint / refirb programme of all the flats show that we are committed to our customers and hope that the many who have made repeat visits are able to enjoy the benefits of these further improvements.

Fantastic Apartment in the Heart of the City

  • 5 of 5

This was our family's first visit to London and it could not have been better. The apartment was in an ideal location, and although it is advertised to be 5 mins away from the Kingscross underground, I think it is actually closer!? The apartment was exactly as advertised, and was really ideal for our family during our week's stay.

Before we arrived the communication from Debbie (the owner) was very clear. We arrived very late in the evening and had no issues. Debbie was very friendly in my communication to her, and if I had any issues she was very responsive.

The apartment was very very clean, and the beds were made and ready to be slept in upon our arrival. The kitchen is fully equipped, and to my surprise they had stocked garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels in the apartment. (In many rentals you are forced to do this on your own.) Having the washer and dryer in the apartment was also a big bonus! (Especially when travelling with two children.)

There is a Tesco around the corner, and we made our way there the first day. There was a pub directly across the street from the apt (no noise worries!) and we visited there in the evening for a quick pint before retiring for the evening. There were also about 10 coffee/breakfast places on the way to the underground, so each morning we never had an issue if we didn't want to cook.

All in all I would definitely book this apartment again without hesitation. It was clean, suited all of our families needs, and a fantastic location.

Very clean apartment near tube station

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is located a couple of blocks from the nearest tube station. The rooms are quite not very big, with kitchen and laundry facilities - making it a good alternative to a hotel if you are going to be staying more than a couple of days.
