5 Stunning 2 bedroom self-catering apartments in Central London- all non-smoking

All the flats are in a quiet side road with restricted one way traffic 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancras station (zone 1) with its excellent transport facilities. Most central London destinations are a 10 minute tube ride away. The British Museum is in walking distance and the British Library is around the corner. The apartments are located in Central London moments from King's Cross and the Eurostar hub at St. Pancras, with many restaurants, bars and cafés on our doorstep including the longest champagne bar in Europe (in the International station), canal side strolls, and easy access to seeing all the sights.

Flat 34 & Flat 36 (1,2,3 and 4) have been renovated and freshly repainted in 2016. All the apartments have a equipped kitchen, a real bathroom and confortable beds.

Re FLAT 34: There are 10 steps down to the family bathroom and then there's a landing and a further 2 steps down to the 2 bedrooms.

There’s a banister / handrail and 8 treads on each flight with:

NB All the apartments are non-smoking; there is no disabled access and no elevator.

Flat 3 is another lovely apartment, it’s just been repainted (Spring 2016) it’s on the second floor (its 60 sq/m) and has no internal stairs. It can sleep up to 6 people. It’s very light and has a fully equipped designer kitchen with round dining table, a washing and drying machine, the main bathroom has a bath tub and shower along with an en-suite bathroom with another shower (to the master bedroom) with double beds (both being 4ft6 wide) in each of the 2 bedrooms, along with having two sofas in the living room one being a sofa bed which also accommodate 2 people. It has double glazing throughout and is quiet.

Clean, Comfortable, Unbeatable location

Spent the first week of July in 36 Flat 3 apartment as a group of 4. The flat location was superb with all amenities and strategic tube and train stations nearby yet located in relatively quiet street. Kitchen and both bdrms were small yet functional (single double bed in both with small closets). Bathrooms were clean and adequate. Sofa bed in living room was useful. TV and wifi worked well. Host Debbie was responsive and helpful. Definitely would consider this again the next time.

The property was very good

The property was well maintained and very conveniently located near the Kings Cross train station. My only complaint about the property was that the trash bags were very flimsy and tended tear when extracted from the trash bin. This was minor annoyance.

Communications with the property manager were a bit difficult as the manager tended to respond to email questions with a form letter response rather than individually addressing the questions. Another annoyance was that the the form letters asked for information to be filled out (such as who was staying in the unit) and then bury the request fro info on page 3 of of a 5 page email. Communications could be clearer and more simplified but the property itself was excellent.

Close to major train and tube stations

Convenience to train and tube stations is clearly the advantage here as both are only a short walk. There's limited food nearby, and all is overpriced, but in part that's just London. The flat is older and has some quirks, but is comfortable enough. It is noisy however, both from neighbors in the stairwell as well as frequent sirens on city streets. Price would be too high for what it is in any other major city. Certainly the most difficult place to confirm check in arrangements and key codes during a two week UK stay. Lots of personal information requested and cagey security. Made me wonder about the security of the neighborhood. But it worked for our short London visit and we were able to access major sites readily.

Owner's Response: Thanks Jon for taking the time to post a review of your 2 night’s stay last month. I'm rather surprised to read your review as you’d messaged me on the day of your departure to let me know that everything was fine. I would like to assure you that our prices are very competitive for Central London and compare favourably with properties in the location. As for noise the flat is double glazed and sound insulated, however we are in the centre of London with its vibrant exciting buzz. As far as security is concerned, we take all matters in this area extremely seriously to ensure that none of our guests are ever inconvenienced. But I would like to confirm that we have never experienced any security breach and although this may seem over cautious, I can assure you that internet fraud is a real problem and on occasions we have accommodated people at short notice that have unfortunately arrived in London only to discover that they have booked accommodate that doesn’t exist. In terms of the availability of food and groceries I cannot really understand your comments, as there’s everything from a superstore Tesco’s around the corner to fine dining (@ the Gilbert Scott Bar & Restaurant / Searcys St Pancras Grand Brasserie) and everything in between catering for all price points, in line with a cosmopolitan international city. There's Café Oz (one of my personal favourites for breakfast/brunch) to McDonalds, Starbucks et al. all within walking distance. I would like to assure future guests that we aim to please, and if there are additional questions during your stay then please do not hesitate to ask me.

Family of 5 with three teens

We had never rented a flat in London so this was a first for us. With a family of five we needed space and comfort in a clean safe location without breaking the bank. This was it. The owners/managers have kept this place up well. It was neat and clean roomy enough for all 5 of us for 4 nights. Everything worked great. It was easy to get in and out. Lots of stores very close by for pantry food and great local restaurants within a block. With Kings Cross and the underground less than a 5 minute walk away it was ideal to get anywhere easily. Since we traveled from the US it was a long way to get here and I was relieved when we arrived to find it to be a comfortable place.

The flat’s ideally located in the heart of London, 5 minutes walk away from Kings Cross/St Pancras stations (Eurostar).

KINGS CROSS IS A UNIQUE AND MAJOR TRANSPORT HUB IN CENTRAL LONDON for national and International travel (there’s six subway lines and buses}. Easy access to all stations and the apartment is 1 hour away to all major London airports. The apartment is close to Islington/shops. The City of London, West End and all Zone 1 destinations are accessible in 10 minutes by underground.

It’s 5 minutes to the British Library / Museum. 10 Mins to the City and London's West End with its fabulous shopping on Oxford St & Regent St, theatres, art galleries and landmarks-Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben. 10 minutes to Covent Garden with its street theatre, opera house and shopping Piazza. 10 minutes to The City of London, with its famous buildings incl.
