5 Stunning 2 bedroom self-catering apartments in Central London- all non-smoking

All the flats are in a quiet side road with restricted one way traffic 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancras station (zone 1) with its excellent transport facilities. Most central London destinations are a 10 minute tube ride away. The British Museum is in walking distance and the British Library is around the corner. The apartments are located in Central London moments from King's Cross and the Eurostar hub at St. Pancras, with many restaurants, bars and cafés on our doorstep including the longest champagne bar in Europe (in the International station), canal side strolls, and easy access to seeing all the sights.

Flat 34 & Flat 36 (1,2,3 and 4) have been renovated and freshly repainted in 2016. All the apartments have a equipped kitchen, a real bathroom and confortable beds.

Re FLAT 34: There are 10 steps down to the family bathroom and then there's a landing and a further 2 steps down to the 2 bedrooms.

Re 36 (flat 1): There are 11 steps down to the family bathroom and then there's a landing and a further 2 steps down to the 2 bedrooms.

Re 36 (flats: 2: 3 & 4):

There’s a banister / handrail and 8 treads on each flight with:

16 stairs to 36 (flat 2)

32 stairs to 36 (flat 3)

46 stairs to 36 (flat 4)

NB All the apartments are non-smoking; there is no disabled access and no elevator.

NB The apartment comes with linen towels and bedding: The Wi-Fi, central heating, electricity and water costs are included within the price quoted.

We can provide a high-chair, travel cot and bedding if required.

NB The cleaning Fee (50£) is by week and not by journey.

Details for holiday apartment 36 (flat 2) - 1st floor flat , 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6, 2 Bathrooms

Flat 2 is a lovely apartment, it’s on the first floor (its 60 sq/m) and can sleep up to 6 people. It’s very light and has a fully equipped designer kitchen with a breakfast bar and 4 stools, a washing and drying machine, the main bathroom has a bath tub and shower along with an en-suite bathroom with another shower (to the master bedroom) with double beds (both being 4ft6 wide) in each of the 2 bedrooms, along with having two sofas in the living room one being a sofa bed which also accommodate 2 people. It has double glazing throughout and is quiet.

Just right for our London visit

We're officially BIG fans of the flats at 36 Northdown. We've previously stayed in Flat #1, which was good, but we definitely prefer Flat #2. Staying in this flat was perfect for our family of 5. The windows allowed for great cross-ventilation, the rooms were spacious, and we had everything we needed. This flat has a washer and dryer - so critical for family trying to travel light! The location is really perfect, so close to King's Cross/St Pancras stations that you can get anywhere in London really easily. Debbie is easy to deal with and quick with information when needed. We highly recommend these flats and would stay here again then next time we're in London.

great location and very responsive and professional owner

This house is very conveniently located in London, with Tesco store and a Piza place near by, my kids love the piza and the wings!

Room is a 3 bedroom apartment, sofa can be changed to a bed. We like this place because we can cook some breakfast in the morning, cookware is great.

Washer and dryer are working though washer takes time to get it start..

We like this house!

Works well for a family traveling via Heathrow and Eurostar.

This property worked well for our family using Heathrow Airport and The Eurostar. Very convenient on the Piccadilly Line. The area is busy and full of good/safe eating establishments but this nice street is relatively quiet. Debbie was easy and pleasant to work with. Nothing fancy but it was clean and did the job for a short stay. It was nice to have two bathrooms. The kitchen, and therefore the kitchen table, is small which was fine for us but not great if you have a larger family and intend to eat leisurely meals around a table. Never did really figure out the washing machine - unless it really does take 7 hours for one load....The living room has a door and a pull-out bed so it can easily be used as a three bedroom flat. Visit the nearby British Library...

Very convenient, comfortable apartment

My daughter and I stayed here for 8 nights in early February. It is an excellent location in terms of convenience with Kings Cross tube station only 5 minutes away. It has very easy direct access to Heathrow on the Piccadilly line. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was very warm, an important consideration in winter. The only minor consideration would be the bar across the road which was played very loud music for a few hours late on Saturday night. This wasn't an issue in winter as one could keep the windows shut but in summer it could be. It was fine all the other nights with just a few people congregating outside. The street itself is very quiet in terms of traffic. We felt quite safe in the evenings walking to and from the station. There are good restaurants nearby in the Granary area which looked to be recently developed and everything else is just a tube ride away. Kings Cross is a major station with several lines passing through so it is very easy to get anywhere in London. Debbie was excellent to deal with. Any issues were addressed very promptly.

I would recommend this apartment.

The flat’s ideally located in the heart of London, 5 minutes walk away from Kings Cross/St Pancras stations (Eurostar).

KINGS CROSS IS A UNIQUE AND MAJOR TRANSPORT HUB IN CENTRAL LONDON for national and International travel (there’s six subway lines and buses}. Easy access to all stations and the apartment is 1 hour away to all major London airports. The apartment is close to Islington/shops. The City of London, West End and all Zone 1 destinations are accessible in 10 minutes by underground.

It’s 5 minutes to the British Library / Museum. 10 Mins to the City and London's West End with its fabulous shopping on Oxford St & Regent St, theatres, art galleries and landmarks-Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben. 10 minutes to Covent Garden with its street theatre, opera house and shopping Piazza. 10 minutes to The City of London, with its famous buildings incl. St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London & Wren churches. 15 minutes to the South Bank by the River Thames, the London Eye, Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe theatre. The flats are very close to Moorfield’s Eye Hospital, UCH, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Harley Street.
