5 Stunning 2 bedroom self-catering apartments in Central London- all non-smoking

Three and four star accommodation,just 5 minutes walk to Kings Cross/St Pancras(Eurostar).This is a MAJOR transport hub for national and international travel.The City of London,West End and all Zone One destinations are accessible in 10 minutes by underground. We are located only 1 hour away from all London airports yet situated in a quiet residential street.The apartments are in a Victorian terrace and are aprox 60sq/m.Four have two double bedrooms with 1 ensuite,a living room with sofa bed,separate bathrooms with bath or shower cubicle, kitchen/dining room. Flat four is a penthouse with jacuzzi bath but no ensuite.There is a Tesco supermarket,an M&S food hall and pharmacy close by. Please note the flat has no disabled access or elevator.

The owner speaks fluent English/French/German/Italian and Arabic and is available by phone to respond immediately to any queries .

We do not offer parking and strongly recommend you do not bring a car as parking is very difficult and expensive

Notes to the rental rates

The price includes tax, bath and bed linen and heating.

If you stay for more than a week, the price includes a weekly cleaner and a change of bed and bath linen.

Check in is at 2.00pm and check-out is @ 10.00am. Luggage can be stored at the St Pancras International station Left Luggage facility (opening times Monday to Saturday 6am-10pm, Sunday 7am-10pm). The office is located at the end of St Pancras station (the opposite side of the Eurostar terminal) and is at the back of the domestic ticket office.

Kings Cross-St Pancras has been transformed: St Pancras is a lively, bustling area with many restaurants, bars and cafes including the longest champagne bar in Europe (in the Gothic St Pancras International station). You will find a Time Out guide to London’s restaurants and shops in the house. The area has seen a great deal of development in recent years and visitors who remember Kings Cross-St Pancras from days gone by will be surprised at its transformation. Victorian canalside warehouses have been restored to house new apartments, restaurants and bars and crumbling industrial buildings have been swept away to make way for new hi-tech offices, shops, art galleries (including the cutting-edge Gagosian Gallery) and Kings Place, a new concert hall that is home to the London Sinfonietta and offers concerts and cultural events nightly. The British Library is a 10 minute walk away - treasures include Mozart scores, Beatles lyrics, Shakespeare First Folio and Magna Carta (1215).

The flat is in a quiet side road with restricted one way traffic 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancras station (zone 1) with its excellent transport facilities. Most central London destinations are a 10 minute tube ride away. The British Museum is in walking distance and the British Library is around the corner. Please refer to the map.

VISITING OUR FLATS BY CAR: We recommend you do NOT bring your car,there is superb public transport facilities at the doorstep..There is very limited parking on the street,it is expensive and all on meters.In addition there is a daily 'Congestion Charge' to drive into central London (tel: +44 845 900 1234) for further details.Please check www.ncp.co.uk for the nearest secure car park if you absolutely must bring a car.

FLAT 34, was renovated (SPRING 2014), and is our sweet secure modernised maisonette on the ground floor and garden levels. A maisonette has 2 floors and has stairs between the 2 levels. The apartment is part of a Victorian terrace and is 60sq/m and can sleep up to 6 people. There are 2 double bedrooms (1 en-suite) with a 4ft6 wide double bed in the master bedroom and 4ft wide bed in the 2nd bedroom which leads onto the small patio. It has a main bathroom in addition to the en-suite bathroom. It has 2 new sofas (bought March 2016) in the large open plan kitchen / dining room that can both convert into large single beds which can each accommodate 1 person (x2). It has a fully equipped designer kitchen with a washer, drying & dish washer machine and has a large dining table to seat 6. It has a TV/DVD. It’s non-smoking & there’s no disabled access nor elevator. The flat is located in a quiet residential one-way street, a 5 minute walk away from Kings Cross/St Pancras stations (Eurostar).

Nice flat, fit our needs, wished we were closer

The communication with management was very responsive. Overall, we were pleased with the rental but would choose elsewhere next trip. The inside accommodations were as described and comfortable. The door to street was not always shut by residents which left the potential for uninvited guests. Admittedly, this issue exists in most city residencies. There were basic supplies provided. Check-in was convenient with codes bring emailed to us. I was surprised that there were no 'personal' touches like a few reading books, city guides, adapters, etc. We almost exclusively rent flats when travelling. My personal preference are those managed by the owner for the personal interactions and touches. The management company was very flexible with leaving our luggage during cleaning which was very much appreciated! The location to tube station was great as this is a major hub. It is a 5-10 minute walk to Kings Cross depending on how you hit the lights. The major downside was the area. We really struggled to find recent restaurants (anything above 2.5-3 stars on review sites). The local cafe down the street was the only exception. After 1 day, we socialized and ate elsewhere before coming back to flat. The street itself was quiet with only 1 bar close by but sound was not an issue even with windows open.

The rental met our expectations. We felt safe and comfortable. This is a great option for someone targeting to stay close to Kings Cross for tube/train access.

Owner's Response: Many thanks Nicole for taking the time to post a review of your 4 night’s stay last April (2015). I'm pleased you were happy with your stay in 36 (flat 4). The communal front door weight has been adjusted to ensure the door shuts automatically though we've never had any problems with uninvited guests. It's tricky getting a balance as we receive lots of positive comments about the apartments being devoid of clutter (books and personal items). I use to provide London guides, Time Out, adapters etc. but am afraid they always seem to go walk about and guests nowadays seem to use the web from their phones, tablets and laptops to look things up. I'm sorry you struggled to find great dining out options in the area, as there’s oodles of great 4*-5* restaurants on our doorstep. The Rotunda Bar and Restaurant on the canal (3 min walk away) @ Kings Place does lovely food (and also fantastic Mojitos), as does The German Gymnasium, Bar Pepito, The Greek Larder, Granger & Co, Caravan King's Cross, Searcys St Pancras Grand Brasserie on the Upper Concourse @ St Pancras is also great, and there’s an abundance of other great eateries @ St Pancras International Station. Plum + Spilt Milk @ The Great Northern Hotel is also wonderful as is The Gilbert Scott Bar & Restaurant @ St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel. These are lovely local restaurants and they also do a great afternoon tea as does Fortnum & Mason Tea Salon. There’s many gastropubs in King's Cross: Grain Store, The Easton, The Driver, Norfolk Arms…. and the list goes on and on, and if you fancy then 10 minutes up the road there’s Upper Street which has more fantastic options, like Frederick's on Camden Passage. I’m pleased the rental met your expectations and you were comfortable, and we’d be delighted to welcome you to London on another occasion and you could try out some of these wonderful dining options.

Amazing Apartment

We were lucky enough to stay in this lovely, comfortable, amazingly convenient apartment while visiting London. It's less than a 5 minute walk to King's Cross Station-one of the best stops as it is easy to get anywhere from there! The apartment is clean, lovely, and comfortable. Our daughter had her own room and bathroom, and we all could comfortably lounge around in the mornings and evenings enjoying tea and breakfast (made in the well appointed kitchen) or wine and nibbles to discuss the day's successes. I would stay here again in a New York Minute!

Clean and comfortable, well-located flat

The booking process was easy and Debbie was very helpful and friendly. The flat is well-located for transport, we enjoyed getting the buses especially to Parliament Hill Fields and Camden Lock. There were only two of us so the flat was perfect, spacious, clean and with all facilities needed. Beds were comfortable (even the pillows which I'm very fussy about!) but the sofa beds weren't great as sofas. Ideal for a short stay in London.

Charming penthouse in great location

This space worked well for our family of five (with 3 teenage children). Clean and quiet with comfortable rooms and beds. Actually enjoyed the four-story climb to the cozy apartment. Walked to nearby British National Library for a free visit and amazing works on display. This is an upcoming area so there are plenty of shops and small restaurants. Near the tube, Kings Cross and for us, St. Pancras, for continuation to Paris on the Chunnel. Owner responsive. I would recommend this place for families.

The flat’s ideally located in the heart of London, 5 minutes walk away from Kings Cross/St Pancras stations (Eurostar).

KINGS CROSS IS A UNIQUE AND MAJOR TRANSPORT HUB IN CENTRAL LONDON for national and International travel (there’s six subway lines and buses}. Easy access to all stations and the apartment is 1 hour away to all major London airports. The apartment is close to Islington/shops. The City of London, West End and all Zone 1 destinations are accessible in 10 minutes by underground.

It’s 5 minutes to the British Library / Museum. 10 Mins to the City and London's West End with its fabulous shopping on Oxford St & Regent St, theatres, art galleries and landmarks-Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben. 10 minutes to Covent Garden with its street theatre, opera house and shopping Piazza. 10 minutes to The City of London, with its famous buildings incl. St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London & Wren churches. 15 minutes to the South Bank by the River Thames, the London Eye, Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe theatre. The flats are very close to Moorfield’s Eye Hospital, UCH, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Harley Street.
