At 250 meters from Minnewater,900 meter from beguinage at less than15 minutes walking (<1 mile)from market square and the Burg square (foundation site of the city 9th century) with a view on the Poertoren at the bridge over the Lake of Love, an old ammunition storage..

Here you will get an A-list get-away. At walking distance of ALL major sites, museums, canal visits by boat, visits by carriages, restaurants, cafés & terraces etc..

A semi- detached property measuring 5.350 sq (500 m²) in a small street with houses and villas in a green environment, renewed in a modern design. A large garage and a pleasant lobby with reception furniture. Next to the entrance hall you will find a bathroom with a large walk douche and toilet and a small washbowl table + hairdryer. With a Samsung UE32J4000 LED HDR flat screen TV’s (6) for each room. An open and spacious living room tastefully equipped. Furniture and indoor decorations are local design.Jazzy artwork from the owner and friendly local artists.

The whole house was renovated in view of energy consumption. Energy-saving LED lighting is selected. The house is equipped with a ventilation system with heat recovery. The fresh air is preheated with heat recovered from the exhaust air. No need to open a window!

The air quality of the home is guaranteed at this way, without additional energie loss. Hot water is generated by a heat pump to avoid additional power consumption.

The open kitchen is fully equipped for the best amateur-cooks with full sized induction cooking plates, a microwave and grill oven, chef-knives, a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, washing/dryer machine.

In the living room, on a special desk: Senseo coffee machine with different pads, electric kettle for tea, roaster.

ON THE FIRST FLOOR:

The 2 Master bedrooms have a king-size box spring bed with highest quality bedding. The 3th bedroom has bunk beds and an extra 3rd bed. Each room with a Samsung LCD flat screen TV.

Next to the first master bedroom, with a nice view on the ‘poertoren’ (the Lake of Love), is a splendid equipped bathroom, large walk douche, washbowl table + hairdryer, shaving mirror.

A second toilet is located in a separate room next to the corridor.

The second master bedroom has a nice view on the garden.

On the same corridor is a third room with three beds and view on the garden.

ON THE SECOND FLOOR:

2 bedrooms with a king-size box spring bed with separated mattresses and highest quality bedding.

A third bathroom with shower, washbowl table and a third toilet.

Although the apartment is self-catering, we wish you a warm welcome: 1/2 bottle of champagne (2 persons) and chocolate (NOIRDENOIR) and in the refrigerator a small surprise.

All information about shopping, groceries, restaurants, cafes, museums, chocolate shops, visits, etc .. are available at the information desk.

*At 100 meters (2 minutes walk) is the largest and cheapest public parking in Bruges.

Why Daniël chose Bruges

I bought this house from my parents, I've played in years, studied together with my brothers. The house was for its time (late 60s), very modern, it was also my idea to renovate this home with respect for the original concept.

The surface of the house without garden or terrace and the entrance = 13.5m x 6.5m = 88m2.

The location is unique, it is located in a quiet street with lots of greenery, overlooking the 'Poertoren (near the Lake of Love).

150 m = 2 minutes walk of the cheapest parking of Bruges and the train and bus station.

15 minute stroll to the center of Bruges.

What makes this house unique

Bruges is a jewel of a city, both for the old culture and new culture lovers.

It is ideal to visit on foot, but also easily accessible by public transport.

It has everything a value seeker, wants to find.

Art and museums of all kinds, attractions, restaurants, cozy cafes, walks, bike tours, boat rides, carriage rides ...

It is also just 20 minutes by train from the beautiful North Sea beach.

The house with all its comfort also offers the ideal resting point.

Lovely house, great location and charming host.

We had a great week staying in Daniël’s comfortable and spacious house.

The house is ideally situated, 5 minutes’ walk away from Bruges train station and main bus terminal. We took trains to Ostend (and then the tram along the coast) and Brussels, and used the bus a number of times to get into the centre of Bruges. The walk into town is pleasant, and Daniël provided a number of useful recommendations for places to eat in the area.

The house is tastefully decorated and has a number of Daniël’s pieces of art displayed. As a family of five (with children aged 18, 15 and 11) there was ample space for us, but the house wouldn’t feel crowded with double that number. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils etc and there is plenty of crockery and glassware too.

In the tidiest garage we’ve ever seen (accessed from the house) there’s a washer and separate tumble dryer.

The beds are really comfortable and the street is quiet, so we all slept very well indeed. There is a shower room and toilet on each of the three floors – there was plenty of hot water and the pressure was good.

We used four bedrooms. There were TVs in each: the one in the lounge has more channels available (in a range of languages including Flemish, English, French and German) than those in the bedrooms (we didn’t use them much anyway). The Wi-Fi is good throughout the house.

The stairs are open, with wooden floor-to-ceiling vertical guides apart from the last 3 rungs of the bottom staircase. This was fine for us but you’d probably need to be a bit careful with younger children. There’s a good space outside with plenty of seating and an area to play pétanque (we didn’t spend much time outside as it was extremely hot during our stay, and there were a lot of wasps around enjoying the pear tree!).

In summary, we’d highly recommend staying in this lovely house and Daniël is one of the most welcoming and conscientious hosts we’ve come across in many years of renting accommodation in the UK and abroad.

Lovely house with great location

We (two families each with two) young children had a great stay at Daniel's house. It's in a great location, very spacious has it's own petanque court (!) and has terrific character. Quick note: it's not particularly suitable for young families - there are lots of breakables and quite dangerous stairs so we had to be on our guard all the time.

It was the best place we have ever stayed.

Daniël was so kind and helpful. The House was immaculate. It was in a good location and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would highly recommend this house. We had dinner on the patio, it is completely private and very nice. Lots of wonderful artwork throughout the house.

Fantastic!!!

Staying here is the best thing we did, a few minutes from the town centre, a lovely and impeccably clean house, which was beautifully done up.

The best part is the Host, Daniel was helpful, freindly and just made our stay that extra bit better.

If you are thinking of visiting Brugge, stay here!

NOIR de NOIR - Une jolie maison (a house with charm)

Le propietaire, Daniël est une tres bonne persone et charmant. Une maison avec tres bon goūt (une jolie maison), avec tous les services (nous avons esté comme dans notre maison. Une bonne situation (près de la gare et a quelques minutes du centre hostorique de Brugge). Totalement recomendé par des groups de 8 personnes.

CATALÀ: Vàrem ser 8 persones (tres parelles i dos individuals). Recomano aquesta casa, tant per la seva ubicació com pels detalls i serveis que ofereix, per l'hospitalitat del seu propietari (En Daniël), una persona molt detallista i amb bon gust (pel que es pot apreciar de la decoració de la casa, sembla que és un gran aficionat a la pintura i a la música soul/jazz). Té molt bon gust, i de tracte cordial i amable. No tinc cap dubte que, de tornar a Bruges, si hi anem en grup, tornarem a llegar aquesta casa (llàstima que per dos persones és massa gran).

Excellent location, beautiful and clean home

We rented this beautiful home for a large family trip. The house is impeccably clean and very comfortable. We found everything we needed in the home and more. The location is perfect. It is easy to find parking close to the house and then you can leave your car there for the duration of your stay while you explore beautiful downtown Bruges by foot. The owner, Daniel, is very accommodating and easy to get a hold of if needed. I would certainly recommend this house to others.
