About Tony Anderson
We are originally from North Carolina and for the past seventeen years have enjoyed living and raising our children in North Central Florida. Traveling to the North Carolina mountains and especially the Asheville area has always been an enjoyable and adventuresome experience. The beauty, serenity, and peacefulness of the area is the alluring factor. There just seems to always be something new and interesting to see and experience because of the seasonal changes in the climate. Chefs from all over the world have opened resturants in Asheville and have produced an extraordinary variety of excellent dining options for us to enjoy as well. We have two dogs (Husky and American Eskimo) that enjoy our trips to the mountains as well to hike and enjoy the wonderful mountain weather. We like calling Carolina home and so might you. Cozy Bear Cottage
Wonderful homey cottage with everything you need and more! The location was great to venture out to several different activities! We especially loved having the gas grill and “real” coffee maker! Many rentals do not have those! Tony, the owner, was very accessible for questions. It was perfect for a our family vacation and our sweet dog loved it too! Highly recommend!
This is house worked out perfectly for our family. There were 6 of us- all adults. It had plenty of living space inside and out with a partially covered deck that allowed to be in the sun when we wanted or protect us from the rain. Close to highways so it was easy to visit any of the areas beautiful parks and trails.
Cozy Bear Cottage is located just off I-40 East of Asheville. Close to the highway for easy access, but far enough away to buffer the noise. A short drive to Asheville, the Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway, & Navitat Zip Lines. The cottage was clean, had firm beds, a small fenced in yard, and a nice porch with plenty of seating options. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if in the Asheville area.

Aptly named "Cozy". Comfortable. I chose this property for the deck and the fenced pet-friendly yard. They did not disappoint.
Very clean and nice property! Owners very responsive!
2 day get away
Loved our 2 day get away! We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations! It is so close to Asheville and convenient to reach off of I-40. We enjoyed horseback riding, lunch and shopping in downtown Asheville, but mostly hanging out at the cottage cooking, eating, using the hot tub and the fire pit. All directions were easy to understand for using the amenities. Great internet! The beds were amazingly comfortable. And check out was a breeze. We would definitely stay again!
Close to major highways (I-40, I-240, & I-26), however feels rual in a beautiful mountain setting, does not require long difficult driving and is on a private paved road. Close to grocery stores and can drive to downtown Asheville in ten minutes and the town of Black Mountain in fifteen minutes. There are lots of wonderful local food resturants and shopping.in both towns. Close to area hiking and short drive away is Wolf Laurel ski resort, white water rafting and zip lining at Navitat Canopy Adventures.
