Nestled in heart of the Old Town, this beautiful and spacious 4th floor apartment boasts 2 separate bedrooms with a separate living room making it ideal for 2 - 3 couples. The apartment was fully renovated in January 2012, and has all new furniture. The turn-of-the-century building (1904) is in immaculate condition with restored frescas at the entrance and has a new elevator which leads up directly to your door.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven and 4 burners, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and breakfast table.

The living room is fully equipped with flat screen satellite tv, dvd player, stereo and has high-speed wifi internet. There is a large couch for relaxing, dining table and unfoldable double couch bed.

The two bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, each with a double bed and storage capabilities.

The bathroom is very spacious with double sink, toilet, bidet, bathtub and shower. The whole apartment has central heating and also gets great light.

This recently reconstructed turn-of-the-century building lies in the heart of Old Town just 200 meters from Old Town Square and 50 meters from the 12th century Church of Saint Havel.

The building is neat, secure and clean with an elevator which opens you straight onto the door of your apartment.

The entry hall is spacious and leads into the kitchen on the east of the apartment and living room which faces onto Havelska street to the west.

The kitchen receives wonderful morning light which makes it perfect for a sit down breakfast. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas top stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, large fridge and freezer and all the plates and cutlery necessary for a large group.

The living room is also spacious and has a large L shaped couch and an additional double unfoldable couch with full bedding underneath. There is a lovely dining table which can be unfolded to accommodate 6 people. There is a hifi system with CD/DVD and MP3 (USB port) playing capabilities. There is a flat screen TV with satellite and DVD player for those wanting to relax in the evening. There is secure high speed internet throughout the apartment.

The bathroom is spacious and boasts all the amenities of a high quality washroom with shower and bath, double sinks with ample storage underneath and toilet and bidet. All guests receive ample fresh towels and wash clothes and there are thick bath mats on the floor.

The first bedroom faces onto the backside of the building and is cozy and quiet. There is a large double bed (King sized) and wardrobe for storage. Both sides of the bed have nightstands with reading lamps. There is also an unfoldable single couch bed to accommodate children or members of a larger group.

The master bedroom is a beautifully furnished room with a double bed (queen sized), full length wall wardrobe and large chest of drawers. Both sides of the bed have nightstands with reading lamps. Thick curtains will stop the morning light. The bedroom also boasts the best view from the apartment with a sneak peak at the castle on the other side of the river.

Havelska street is in the heart of Prague's historic Old Town. Just 200 meters from the Old Town square and the metro stop Mustek means that you have easy access to everything to see in Prague. Start your day with a coffee and fresh pastery followed by an early morning walk to the Old Town Square to avoid the crowds. There are tons of cafés, restaurants, bars, shops and everything else you could want as you are in the middle of Old Town. Try the famous U Provanice pub for the real Czech cuisine and more important beer which is located 1/2 block away. If wine is more your thing then sample the selections at U Zavoje also located on Havelska street. Buy your fresh produce at the market on the same street which also has a bakery.

The beauty of this part of Prague of course is the fact that you are in the center but just off the main strip where thousands of tourists pass along each hour. Centrally located, but quiet means you can relax but also reach any landmark within minutes. The castle is just a 20 minute walk or hop on the metro and go 2 stops circa 10 minutes.

The apartment is also 1 block away from the busiest shopping street Na Prikope with brand name products like Hugo Boss, Benetton, Next, Mango, Zara and Ecco to name a few. There is also a massive, modern shopping center - Paladium just a few hundred meters away.

There is also a modern multiplex movie theater showing most films in English with subtitles.

If you are interested in the arts you are just 100 meters from the prestigious Stavovske Divadlo where Mozart conducted his world premiere of Don Giovanni in 1787.

The national Opera House is just a 10 minute walk up Wenseslas Square and the National Theater a 10 minute walk through the Old Town side streets (TIP: bring your map).

In terms of dining you can choose from the cream of the crop to the best of the budget in this area. One tip for people not wishing to spend an arm and a leg for lunch is to pop in to Havelska Koruna for an affordable and tasty Czech meal in a cantina style. Price around 6 USD for a soup, main and drink.

There is a wonderful Balkan Mediterranean restaurant called Kogo - also on Havelska - which offers fresh fish and pasta dishes.

You are just blocks away from the hip and trendy Buddha Bar Prague - built in an old cabaret club.

There are sports bars in the area for those wishing to watch their favorite sports.

One of the best we've ever stayed at.

On our recent 2nd stay in Prague, we stayed at this VRBO from February 9 to March 4, almost a month. This trip had the purpose of researching my husband's heritage; therefore we wanted to have the experience of living in Prague like residents. This wonderful VRBO certainly made this possible. It was absolutely beautiful, with an elevator that delivered us directly into the apartment. We had so much space - a full kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, stove, full fridge, etc. The kitchen was stocked with every dish, pan, etc. we could ever need. It also had a table, perfect for 4 people for breakfast. We had 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, great living room/dining room. The apartment had so much more than we could ever need; we loved it! The apartment was also in the perfect location. It was an easy walk to all tourist attractions and an easy walk to trams for those other places we wanted to visit and explore. Beyond providing us with every amenity we could want, this VRBO introduced us to Petra and Vladimir. Petra was always available via email or text with any information we wanted. Vladimir provided us with reasonably priced transportation to and from the airport and to destinations out of Prague that we wanted to explore. We have traveled a great deal in both the US and Europe and mostly used VRBOs. This beautiful rental ranks as one of the best experiences. 10 out of 10! We hope to visit again as soon as we can.

Beautiful Apartment, Fantastic Location!

This beautiful apartment is exactly as portrayed in the pictures - only better. Immaculate and spacious with high ceilings, lots of natural light, and beautiful hardwood floors. Eat-in kitchen is modern and fully equipped, bathroom is large (especially by European standards) and modern, and bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of storage. The location couldn't be better - a very short walk in one direction to the Old Town Square ( the heart of medieval Prague) and a few short blocks in the opposite direction to the New Town and Wenceslas Square. A metro stop and the Albert grocery store are right around the corner. Across the street is a very good Italian restaurant (Corto) and along side it the Zebra Noodle Bar - also excellent. An ATM is located diagonally across the street. Lots of eateries, pubs, and cafes all around within a few minutes walk. Every day there is an open air market on the street directly in front of the apartment building - fun for people watching. Petra and Vladimir were great to work with - good communication both before and during our stay. They offer a transfer service from and to the airport which we would highly recommend - price is reasonable. Vladimir was right there to meet us upon arrival and right on time to take us back to the airport for our departure. A word about Prague - what a beautiful and fascinating city - it far exceeded our expectations. Although an ancient city, it has a vibrant, young, and fun vibe. One of the things that most impressed us was the cleanliness of the city, no graffiti, no homelessness (that we saw), no panhandlers, and nobody constantly trying to sell you trinkets or sightseeing tours - a welcome change from many destinations. A day trip to the beautiful and picturesque UNESCO heritage town of Cesky Krumlov south of Prague is recommended. We would love to return to Prague and would definitely stay in this apartment again! Very unhappy with car service

There are nothing but good things to say about the apartment. Very clean, kitchen with all the appliances, large, comfy and in a perfect location.

But what would have been a pleasant stay was ruined by the offered car service which failed to return us to the airport after our stay. A half-an-hour after our arranged pick-up time had passed, we had to drag our four suitcases out of the pedestrian zone to find a city street with a taxi.

Perfect spot in the Old City

My family of 6 and I stayed in this centrally located flat. All of our interactions with the company were professional. The flat was exactly as advertised, large and comfortable right in the heart of Prague. We loved walking out the door to the market in the morning.

Great location, nicely maintained apartment

The apartment is exactly as described, and was a great place to stay in Prague. We walked everywhere as it is very centrally located. The apartment is very comfortable and I echo all the positive comments from other reviews. If you are a light sleeper, take your earplugs. The street in front of the building is busy at all hours, especially during the early morning when vendors are setting up for the market. That said, it is the middle of a busy city so the noise isn't really surprising.

Very central, spacious apartment

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was very large, had plenty of space for my family of 5. It was centrally located in Old Town, we were able to easily walk to everything we wanted to see. It was fun being right in the middle of it all- we could watch the market below from our windows. Petra was super helpful- she arranged a pick up from the train station, she recommended restaurants and things to do, and we got a ride back to the station at the end of our stay. Everything felt safe and secure, the whole process was very easy and ran smoothly. The only things we wished for were some convenient kitchen items like salt/pepper and cooking oil, and some extra bedding and blankets. Other than that we were very happy with our accommodation. Thank you!
