Nestled away in a true tropical setting. Once you have taken the turns in the maze of buildings and palm trees, and found this lost treasure, the escape from reality will have occurred and your island experience underway. Two pools to choose from. A lounge area on the beach makes listening to the late night surf an escape complete.

Bahia Mar 565 is a 2 bedroom 2 bath property with a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, and washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a king size bed and work desk. The second bedroom has two queen size beds. All rooms have televisions.

The gated entrance at the Bahia Mar complex is manned 24/7. Wristbands and parking passes are a must, providing security for your family and prohibits causal visitation.

A spiral staircase leads to a private third floor master bedroom, with private balcony. While there are no direct views of the Gulf of Mexico or Laguna Madre you are but a short distance through the complex to the beach. You are within walking distance to Clayton's Beachfront Bar, the South Padre Island Birding Center, and Sea Turtle, Inc.

Roaches and more roaches

I didn't see any reviews so I decided to take a chance and reserve this condo for my sisters and their families. Roaches were everywhere and my sisters could not get any sleep because they were paranoid with all the roaches. They were crawling on the walls and on the curtains. Such a let down. Even if the management came out to spray after the fact, I still don't understand renting a property to someone and taking their money when you have roaches. With that many roaches there is no way it was just a problem at that time and no one was aware. I am very disappointed.

Check in upon arrival at Padre Island Rentals, 3100 Padre Blvd. at the corner of Padre Blvd. and Kingfish, 1 3/4 miles north of the bridge on the right side of the road one block north of the Blue Marlin Supermarket.

After checking in and receiving your parking permit make a right onto Padre Blvd. The Bahia Mar Resort, 6300 Padre Blvd (on the right hand side of Padre Blvd.), is less than 2 miles from our Office. Unit #565 is located on the north side of the Bahia Mar Resort. Turn into the north entrance and drive pass the hotel tower towards the beach. The condominium buildings are numbered, #565 is in building 5 on the second floor.

Maximum occupancy limits are strictly enforced.

2 bedroom maximum including children is 8

3 bedroom maximum including children is 10

Occupancy limits are controlled by the use of wristbands. When you check in at Padre Island Rentals you must put your wristband on at that time. Bahia Mar security guards will only allow persons wearing the bands to enter the property. If you have friends or family visiting you during your stay you will need to make arrangements to meet them somewhere else, they will not be allowed onto the Bahia Mar Grounds.

Each rental at the Bahia Mar will receive up to 2 parking permits. Any additional vehicles will need to park off property.
