This attractively decorated apartment is fully-equipped to help make your vacation as enjoyable as possible. Pets are allowed. The pool is right in front of our building and it has a kitchen area with a BBQ and a cooler with ice. There are towels in the pool for your convenience. A pool table is also in the pool area. The rent of this apartment includes the use of a 4 seater electric golf cart for your transportation around the resort. The master bedroom has a king bed and a sofa-bed, the bathroom has a Jacuzzi. The other room has two full beds and the second bathroom is in front. You will love the big balcony with a beautiful lake view. The St. Regis Resort is inside Bahia Beach complex. Wi-Fi is available.
This is by far a gem of a find! Beautiful, clean and spacious. Has lots of towels, full kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and even use of a golf cart. You can stay here for 370.00 a night or rent a room at the resort for 700+ dollars. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to do the math on this one. Plus, you get use of all the amenities the resort offers like the boathouse ( which you can see from the balcony), 2 pools, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding...everything. The master bed was SO comfy! Everything was great. The only thing I would suggest was a bath mat in the mater bathroom because it is a bit slippery. We used Waze and we got to the resort no problems at all. My family and I will be back time and time again. Thank you so much Laura!!
Our family of four --2 parents and 2 young adults -- loved this condo. it was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Prior to check in, we received an email with directions to the resort and all of the instructions we needed. Follow the driving decorations they provide, rather than the GPS. You'll also need a day pass card to use resort amenities like the health club or to get towels at the big pool. We picked our cards up at the golf club. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals at home and there were other nice touches -- such as boogie boards and a large umbrella. The condo includes free wifi. We also enjoyed the amenities offered by the resort. The resort is huge and beautiful, with exquisite landscaping, sculptures and art. There is a lovely pool just across from the unit with beautiful landscaping, a large grill and covered seating areas. I thought of it as my private pool because I never saw anyone else there. But we spent most of our time at the large beachfront pool. A couple of times we went over to the St. Regis for champagne sabering at 6 p.m. and enjoyed a complimentary champagne toast. There is a wonderful fitness center that is a pleasant, scenic walk from the unit or a short ride in the golf cart that comes with the unit. We ate at Seagrapes, the poolside restaurant at the hotel. It is in a very scenic setting, but I recall the food being unremarkable. We also used the Tripadvisor app to find local places to eat like El Verde Barbecue, where we had dinner for 3 there $23.
The beach is gorgeous, you could walk for a couple miles. It was also largely empty. In fact, the whole resort was very quiet when we were there, possibly due to its being rainy season. We rented a car and drove to Old San Juan, Luquillo Beach and hiked in the rainforest. I highly recommend all of those activities. We also visited the bar at Margaritaville at the Wyndham because the guys wanted to watch the NBA finals game. The drinks were excellent there. I was so glad we didn't go to that resort, it was huge and had a convention center atmosphere.
What a great find! The grounds were wonderful. The place was clean and so comfortable. However I do need to mention that I wish we could have used the balcony but it was dirty and full of ants. Wanted to also mention to others booking this place that getting here at night is a bit scary lol. The instructions I received to get here were a bit vague, what I would recommend is if you are using google maps, put in st. regis and you will get there precisely. Using the golf cart was fun. Love the pool areas. It was truly a great stay.
We have stayed in many owner rentals over the years and this one by far exceed expectations. The villa was excellent -- exactly as advertised. It was well-stocked with linens, detergents, dishwasher soap etc.
I was concerned that the St. Regis resort itself would treat renters as second class citizens but that wasn't the case at all. The service and amenities were outstanding.
Frankie was extremely responsive for the odd issue that did come up.
The St. Regis itself rents hotel rooms for about $700 per night. Or you could rent 2br, 2 bathroom place for about $300. A complete no-brainer.
My family of 6 (ages 19-55) rented this villa this past week and LOVED it! It was our first trip to PR and the Bahia Beach property is stunning and is in a great location if you want to explore the island. We spent a couple days just hanging around the resort and never got bored. We loved the pools, walking the beach, and SUP boarding and kayaking at the boathouse. The villa was very spacious and had a great view of the golf course. We loved having a kitchen to use and a washer and dryer. It also had lots of towels for us to use, which helped us not have to buy any if we wanted to go to a beach nearby. We also loved having the golf cart to get around. It made getting to the beach super quick, but the walk is beautiful and not too long if you decide to walk. We never ate at the restaurants on the property, but they all seemed nice (although, expensive). We cooked a lot and also explored some local spots.
We loved this property and villa, but the only negative things we could come up with were that the villa could use a little bit of touch up paint and maybe some dusting near the ceiling (some bugs were up there). A shower curtain in the master bathroom would have also been nice. My parents said all of the water was wearing down the cabinets. Some ceiling fans in the bedrooms (specifically the small one) would have been nice.
Overall this place is a solid 4.5 stars, but the positives totally outweighed the couple of negatives, so I am rounding up. :) We LOVED staying here and loved the resort!
Some of our favorite spots we went to this trip:
Food: Lluvia Deli Bar & Artefacto, La Estacion, Punto de Vista Restaurant, Pirilo Pizza Rustica, Cafe Cuatro Sombras
Beaches: Luquillo Beach, Crash Boat Beach (farther away), Escambron Beach
Activities: Spread Eagle II Catamaran, Old San Juan, El Yunque
I would come back and stay here any day! Laura made everything so easy and relaxing. The apartment was just as photographed and included many extras that made traveling that much easier- spices and condiments for cooking, plenty of extra towels. Great deck to sit and enjoy coffee or evening drinks that overlook the golf course and lagoon. Bring bug spray! The golf cart was included and made getting around the extensive grounds much easier. We enjoyed the St. Regis amenities such as paddle boards, beach access and tennis courts. The staff here is very courteous and friendly. The beach is clean and the staff will help you set up chairs and bring cold rags to cool your face in the hot sun. The food at Fern and Seaglass was very nice, our only suggestion is that the restaurants on the property closed early and nothing will deliver. Prepare your dinner plans in advance. Many good options near by. We visited as two married couples, but this would be a good place for families with small children. We will be back soon!
