Kolea 15J has been professionally decorated with amazing attention to detail! Standing out from the rest, this fabulous 2/2 penthouse is impeccably furnished with views of Hualalai and the fishponds of A Bay. Kolea 15J stands out from the rest! Both bedrooms are furnished with flat screen tv's and king beds, and the guest room can be converted into twin beds upon request. The deep soaking tub in the master bath sits under a skylight, a walk in shower and dual vanities are set in natural stone. The guest bath also has dual vanities and a tub/shower. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked, and dining table seats 6. Sink into the cozy cushions of the loveseat and sofa in the living area, which has a large flat screen and stereo system for your enjoyment. The lanai has 2 chaise lounges and a table for casual dining. An outdoor summer kitchen includes a Viking BBQ grill, beverage center and sink for a relaxing cookout.

Our guests at 15J gain full access to Kolea's amenities center consisting of a beautiful pool, a toddler's pool equipped with waterfalls, spa, fitness room and more!!

Located within less of a 1/4 mile from Kolea is the King's Shops and the Queen's Marketplace. Both provide a unique shopping experience, from local souvenirs, to your "island living" needs as well as some great places for entertainment and dining.

Kolea 15J has spared no expense with upgraded travertine floors throughout the living room, exquisite artwork, and beautifully tiled kitchen walls. The villa comes with cable, wireless internet and long distance calling to the 50 states. This is not your average vacation rental. And of course each room has a ceiling fan and there is central air conditioning. The villa also has a washer and dryer.

Our third trip to the BI and this condo is THE best so far!

We stayed for two weeks in late July and although it was El Nino and the hottest trip to Hawaii that we have experienced, we really enjoyed this condo. It was WONDERFUL! Everything you need to have a relaxing time. Working with Wendee was great, seamless, and because it was hot, we had to use the AC and the elevator a bit more than usual and glad we had both. These owners have thought of everything, and the "penthouse" was extremely quiet and had those gorgeous views for sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials to get started, and we so appreciated this. Also, the beautiful decor, the well-stocked kitchen and the awesome master bath is truly what you see in the photos.

Even though it was hot and humid we spent a lot of time on the lanai. Sliding those doors back in the morning when it was cool made the coffee taste better (even being Kona Coffee!) and the table and chairs were wonderful. In the later evening after being at A Bay or Mauna Kea beach, using the chaise lounges to relax with a glass of wine and then cook steaks on your own grill was a treat. (Our last place literally had a line at the grill :-( so having the summer kitchen was really worth it!). For the first time ever, we DID spend quite a few nights in the condo.

And everything you would want for the beach is there, including a cooler. We have bought many chairs and coolers on our six trips to Hawaii. This was the first year we didn't have to!!!! I also want to say that this is convenient to the beach, pool, and you can walk to the Shops if you want. We also went to the Tropics Ale House (great mai tais!) and Lava Lava Club, Quinn's, Don the Beachcomber and Orchid Thai in Kona. We also tried Monstera for the first time, and it was awesome (a must if you like sushi).

So, I would like to recommend this place to others, but I really want to keep it a secret so we can get our dates for next year!

Beautiful, peaceful, luxurious.

A very clean, quiet, well-appointed, top of the line everything, convenient condo in the best location. The view of Hualalai and fish pond from the kitchen is simply picturesque, and the breeze and view from the lanai so pleasant. So nice to conveniently wash and dry the clothes on a daily basis. Huge fridge, microwave were great, too for storing leftovers and heating quick breakfasts. Only a short walk through the nice beach club to "A Bay." Can walk to shops with the best convenience mart, food court, restaurants (we could live off the breakfast/lunch plates, cut fruit, and real Japanese sushi like natto handrolls from the market). Ten-fifteen minute drive to GREAT beaches and historic/natural scenery, free hula shows, petroglyph tour, etc. All this luxury and convenience really made the difference in our vacation.

Luxury and Serenity !!!

We had a wonderful stay at 15J. The location was perfect and the condo itself far surpassed our expectations. It is a great location and the amenities of the complex are first class. I do not like the feel of big resort hotels and crowds and this complex offers such a peaceful vibe. Yet nothing was lacking as the pool and beach were wonderful. I can't say enough great things about it, and especially about the excellent service from start to end of the property manager Wendee. We have rented VRBO's many times and this was the best by far. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a luxury rental without any worries!!

Wonderful stay!

Airy, open property with wonderful amenities. Very comfortable, easy walk to the pool and the beach. Would definitely stay there again! It was extremely clean and the owners helped us by putting twin beds in the second bed room so our girls could sleep more easily. Modern kitchen. Wonderful!

It is always hard to judge what you are going to get when you book online - but this place lived up to the description. It had everything our family of 4 needed. Centrally located to beach / pools / shops - it was great.

It was big enough for us to spread out in and just enjoy.

We would love to come back and thoroughly recommend this property to future guests!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The condo itself is just as described - even better. The condition upon our arrival showed great attention to detail. The community area with pool, spa, etc. was outstanding! We loved the tiki torches and the beauty of the entire facility.
