This one-bedroom, one-bath condominium is located in the Garden District proper, just off Saint Charles Avenue. You have a view of the streetcar line from the front of the courtyard. The condominium opens to a large common courtyard, with a smaller more private area just outside the front door. There is off-street parking for one car. The Historic St Charles Streetcar is just around the corner.

The updates continue! New Floors Summer 2016! this condo was totally renovated recently, new appliances, and very nice furnishings make this cozy condominium very livable. The kitchen is small but very functional. The stove is glass surface with a convection oven. There is a built-in microwave and coffee maker. The bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a TV/DVD. The updated bath has an extra-deep spa tub/shower with glass enclosure. There is a queen-size, inner-spring, sleeper sofa in the living room. There is also a dvd, book, and music collection for your enjoyment.

This is a small, quiet, condo complex. Please respect our quiet time 11 pm - 8 am.

We have video surveillance of the courtyard and parking to help ensure that you have a safe and quiet stay.

Very comfortable condo near everything including transportation

We stayed for six nights and were very pleased with the accommodations. Steps away from St. Charles Ave. in the Garden District, and less than two blocks to the streetcar and Fresh Market. Five block walk to Magazine Street with great restaurants. The unit is fully equipped and all we needed were our groceries. Two TV's with a Roku attached to one with Netflix and Amazon. There's a laundry room with one set of machines in the courtyard around the corner, but no problem getting access to it -- it's a very small complex. The courtyard gate to the street has a coded lock as does the door to the unit, and we always felt secure. There's an assigned parking space, but we didn't need it since we used the streetcar and Uber. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries. Would certainly come back if we visit New Orleans again.

Fabulous little apartment in super location.Better than expected.

Cozy apartment with EVERYTHING you might need for a comfy stay in New Orleans. Wonderfully equipped kitchen. Lush tropical courtyard. The charcoal grill is a brick built-in-- hasn't been used in a long time, but could be functional with a little effort. We will use it next time. We will be back.

Owner's Response: The big bbq grill is great for cooking a large amount of food. We do keep a small portable grill for our guest to use as well.

Walking distance to streetcar line, Magazine street, Lafayette Cemetery #1, and beautiful homes in Garden District.

Nice courtyard to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine after a day discovering New Orleans.

Your home away!

My husband and I have stayed at this apartment for 6 night at the end of April.

The location is good, you are only 2 min walk from two stops of the streetcar on St Charles Avenue (stops are in front of Rite Aid or on 8th St). There is lovely supermarket Fresh Market across the road where you can get fresh bread and pretty much everything you want everyday. Lovely quality of food, like Whole Foods market type of shop.

We have used our car only couple of times to drop by Walmart but you really don't need a car there. It takes about 10-15 min to French Quarter on the street car and we have gone there every day.

The apartment itself is exactly like on the photos, well equipped with everything you might need from baking trays, full size fridge freezer to hair dryer.

It was great in the mornings to have breakfast "at home" sitting on the porch, which is very private with tall fence around.

TV has Netflix and Amazon Prime, which pleased hubby to no end to be able to catch up on latest Doctor Who episode :-)

The decor, as you see on the photos, is bit darker, might not be to everybody's taste, but it does the job perfectly.

You have front room with full kitchen, there is very comfortable sofa that I think is a sofa bed.

You have one bedroom with bathroom coming of the bedroom, that is why it's suitable for 2 people only I would say. There is also storage cupboard with space for suitcases and hanging clothes, very helpfull indeed.

Bathroom has a bath and shower over the bath, good water pressure ( important for girls with long hair to wash). There is storage cabinet for toiletries in the bathroom too, which is another important detail. Bed is good size and comfortable, bedroom itself is not huge but it doesn't matter as you have whole living room, with dining table and kitchen available to you.

Also must mention there is off street parking space just infront of your living room window, if you want to keep an eye on your car. It's nice to have dedicated parking space just for the flat.

We have bumped into the owner Jim couple of times, he is very friendly and responds quickly to messages and questions.

It was our first time in New Orleans and this flat in Garden District made a perfect base for exploring.

There is also lots of restaurants on Magazine street which is about 10 min walk down the road.

I would be happy to recommend this place to everyone!

five stars ! Stayed 4 nights in the garden district in new orleans

The condo was clean, well furnished, has a great location to the trolley and restaurants. Jim responded in a timely fashion and had all paperwork with clear instructions and information for our stay. Would highly recommend this property for a couple looking to explore New Orleans.

Charming and great location

Loved our little getaway in the Garden District. Everything in the condo that we needed. Clean and modern and very secure. We started our day in the lovely garden area with morning coffee, and ended our day with a cold drink in the garden area. Private and lovely.

Cant beat the location. Close to everything.

The little store/gas station at the corner of Louisiana and carondelet, has fabulous sandwiches and hot food as well. Easy dinners when your days are busy. I would also recommend renting bicycles. You see so much of the beautiful city!
