About this property

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 8 with a king bed, two full-sized beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. It features a wall of windows offering beautiful views. Ideally located near Keystone Lake so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and a short walk from the Keystone Conference Center. Guests of Decatur have access to the East Lake Clubhouse that features a pool, hot tub and sauna.

You're also within walking distance of the Mountain House Base Area lifts. Some guests choose to use the walking and biking path where they can reach the lifts in 8-10 minutes. Or you can take advantage of the resort shuttle and reach those same lifts in 2 minutes or the gondola at River Run in 6-8 minutes. The resort shuttle stop is conveniently located right outside the complex.

The architectural design of this concrete building ensures a quiet and relaxing stay. The entryway has a small area for storage of vacation gear, then you can head downstairs to the spacious living area that offers mountain views through a wall of windows. There is a flat screen TV mounted above a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. Comfy furniture is perfect for curling up in front of a roaring fire, and the sofa pulls out into a queen-sized bed. Extra sheets and blankets are in the closet. The homeowner has provided a selection of board games for your enjoyment. Near the windows you have a bistro style table that seats four where you can enjoy a nice meal while taking in the mountain views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware & tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area is set off from the main living area and comfortably seats six people and there are five additional seats at the breakfast bar. The guest bathroom is just down the hall and has a single sink vanity and shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The master bedroom offers more beautiful views and features a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The master bathroom features double sinks and a door separates the shower/tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom has more great views and features two full-sized beds and a flat screen TV.

Very Dated and Lots of Stairs

We checked in on Monday of Spring Break week after a full day of skiing at Keystone. The first surprise was that you take the lone elevator up to the 3rd floor, open the door to the condo to only immediately descend a flight of stairs back down to what should be the second floor. The listing did not clearly state that this is the setup, so anyone with elderly parents or people who need to minimize stairs, this condo is not for you. Next surprise was when we went to unpack all of our groceries for the week to only find a small "dorm sized" refrigerator as the regular refrigerator was out of order. We were not told this before our arrival and the $300+ worth of groceries were not going to all fit in this tiny refrigerator. The management company brought another small refrigerator (brought by one guy and we had to assist to get it into the place due to the above mentioned stairs) so we spent the remainder of the week playing Tetris with two small refrigerators...fun! This condo is nice and has nice sized rooms, but it is VERY dated. Walls need painting and all the furniture needs to be replaced. DO NOT plan to sleep on the pull out sofa as the "cushion" for the bed was exceeded in thickness by the Q-tips we brought along. The oak trim throughout the place hasn't seen a coat of finish since this place first opened, so be careful not to get slivers. One wall appeared to actually have urine stains on it as well. It gets two stars because it was priced appropriately.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had rented our place for 13 days. Our stay was very good. We chose this place because we planned to ski the Dillon area. The place was clean. Plenty of linens. TV's in both bedrooms and living area. We had storage locker for ski's. They only allow one parking space so we had to n park our second car about a 1/2 mile away. A minor inconvenience. Overall our stay was very good.

Ski Trip

It was a great place to stay, the only thing that was a drawback was you can only park one car. We had to park the other car 2 miles away. Everything else was wonderful about the place and the environment. Thanks.
