Peek a boo to full views of 3 mountain ranges plus water views.

Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 2 bedroom/1 bath garden home. The main/master bedroom has a queen -sized bed, while the remaining room had 2 single beds, comfortable for sleeping 4 people. The living room is furnished with a extra large couch and love seat. The kitchenette is perfect for dining as it is equipped with a 3.3 Cu. Ft refrigerator, microwave/convection oven , electric skillet, steamer, toaster oven and coffee maker. There is a nice size dining table to accommodate 4-8 in the kitchenette. The property has a beautiful garden with additional seating for 4 to dine outside and enjoy the abundant views of water, Olympic Mountains, Cascade Mountains and often Mount Rainier. Watch sunrise and later in the year sunset as well.

We only ask that there be very limited social drinking, no smoking or firearms , no loud music or parties. There are substantial monthly and weekly discounts. There is no daily housekeeping service. However, for monthly guests there is a major cleaning every other week that we will do automatically. Extra linens and bath towels are included and is in the unit. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. There are four separate trash containers, general waste, cans and plastics, paper and cardboard, and glass that need to be used to meet city requirements and help the environment. Excess trash must be taken by the guest to the county land fill on Jacob Miller Road. With your permission we will ask for your birthdates if you don't have previous reviews.

About Ron Winger

This is Ron (76) and Claudia (74) Winger's retirement home which was mostly designed by us. Our daughter and her family live right next door and we share the back lot. We lived in Southern California before and during construction before moving here a a few years ago.

The views of mountains, water, sunrises and sunsets are spectacular from every floor. The weather is always mild, never too hot or too cold. We have no need for air conditioning. It is also not too dry so your skin feels wonderful.

What makes this house unique

Port Townsend seems to be everyone's second favorite home. So we have wonderful restaurants and lots of festivals. There is so much to do here and the people are very welcoming and helpful to all.

This is a very quiet neighborhood and our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter live right next door. One or two cocktails are okay, but no parties. Music needs to be very soft. Hospitable Host with Delicious Pastry

The place was comfortable, with lots of amenities.. like a gracious host who showed us around his property. We were treated to pastry upon our arrival. And in the mornings, too.

The place was clean and spacious.

Highly recommend this centrally located (in town) bottom floor (flat) of the house.

Perect Place, Perfect Hosts

Ron and Claudia made us feel welcome in their home. The downstairs apartment was bright, clean, modern, and nicely equipped for our week-long stay. The backyard was private, and provided a peekaboo view all the way to the water. And the location was super convenient--a ten-minute walk to all uptown has to offer, and fifteen to the slightly busier environment of Water Street. Or, if you'd rather not walk or the weather doesn't cooperate, in a few minutes you can drive to pretty much anything Port Townsend has to offer.

Superbly equipped apartment in excellent location

Owners are exceptionally prompt with replies and information. The apartment is extremely well equipped (lots of towels, blankets, dishes etc.) and pristine. Furniture and beds are comfortable, parking is right outside your door. Owners make the extra effort to supply coffee, tea, water, soda and morning bagels or pastry which is especially nice if you've traveled from SeaTac.

Unique and Comfortable

This property in Port Townsend was a very unique place to stay. The interior had a different design compared to most places. Overall very interesting. It was spacious and comfortable, located about 1 mile above the city. The location was in a very nice residential section of Port Townsend. It's about 1 mile from downtown and 1 mile to Fort Worden. If you enjoy walking everything is within walking distance. Port Townsend is a very walkable town with a lot of trails that connect to various neighborhoods. A very neat place to stay!!!!
