About Gary Mitchell
My name is Gary, I grew up not too far from Broken Bow, it was a frequent destination when we went on vacation as a kid. I loved it and have had many good memories. We currently live in the Dallas area, and visit the Beavers Bend often. I feel we are extremely blessed to have the Rowdy Beaver to share with you.
Gary Mitchell purchased this Cabin in 2016
Why Gary Mitchell chose Broken Bow
We chose Beavers Bend area because it is only 3 hours from Dallas, and it has lots of things to do outdoors. The area is beautiful, and we enjoy exploring all it has to offer. The Rowdy Beaver is located in an ideal spot, just off 259, 1/4 mile from 259A. The pictures will tell all. The Rowdy Beaver is "Breathtaking" inside and out!

Relaxing place to stay
The cabin was nice, but could have been cleaner. Cobwebs in the corners & spiders. Blinds were dusty. The back porch had webs everywhere and looked like no one had ever hit it with a broom. We were just disappointed in the first impression of the overall cleanliness of the cabin both inside and out. Other than that, our stay was relaxing and nice. We chose not to cook, but to go out for most all our meals and that made it more enjoyable not to have to clean up the messes and such. The campfire was really nice. The men enjoyed the pool table immensely. The beds upstairs would be dreamy for kids, but adults don't quite fit the ticket for those while down so low on the floor. Thank you for allowing us to rent the cabin. I am sure we would consider it again. The cob webs were just an added touch to the outdoor living part of the trip.
Nice new cabin.
The cabin is obviously new which is really nice. The living space downstairs is pretty small so you won't be hanging out too much down there. The kitchen is really small but it was fine. The only real problem I had with the space is the back patio looks right into the back of another cabin and their storage shed which makes the view out the back not really nice. To compensate we spent most of the time hanging out on the front porch which has a nicer view except for our cars. The pool table is very nice. The hot tub is also nice but it is small. You can only fit two people really. I've been to SE Oklahoma a few times. This was a nice cabin for sure, but not my favorite.
Clean, nice decor, new cabin. Loved the fire pit and jacuzzi. Showers are very nice as well. Right next to everything you’d want to do. Only problem was the gravel road leading to the house that had huge pot holes and I had to drive at a crawl and dodge the holes. It was a very rough road. I expect we will stay here again.
Great cabin for a guys trip
The cabin was perfect for us. We had never been to the area so we didnt know what to expect. Gary was always fast at communicating with me and his cabin is FULLY stocked. Its like a friend has left you his place for the weekend. Loved the cabin, loved the area and will definitely be back again
We have been renting from VRBO all over the U.S. for awhile, this was by far the best unit we have rented!
