This as our second stay at 'teachers' and yet again we had a fabulous time. The house is warm and cosy yet spacious, meticulously kept and thoughtfully equipped. The village and surrounding areas are so picturesque, and there is so much to do to keep all ages and tastes amused. My family
and myself found the house perfect for our needs, with each bedroom having its own bathroom, two living areas so the grandparents could escape the children, and a wonderfully equipped kitchen and dining room, perfect for a family get together. The owner Mary is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with, as is Rachel who greeted us on arrival. 'Teachers' comes highly recommended from us! Many thanks and we very much hope to return again!
Perfect in many ways - location was great, fit the bill and although a little tricky to find in the dark initially it was ideal for what we wanted. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with an impressive decor and brilliant facilities. Lots of space to relax, good kitchen facilities, and lovely dining room. The bedrooms are comfortable and really couldn't say a bad thing about this place.
17 days of a wonderful house: spent a lot of time enjoying the kitchen, the garden and the grill. All the comforts of home, including nice neighbors, children and dogs.
Location for day trips, both via car and train, could not have been better. Lovely villages abound. Way too much to see and do, even with 17 days.
And the BEST were Mary and the ever-delightful and helpful Rachel.
Would love to return some day, but if we can't sure hope that the Wilsons continue sharing this great property.
What a fantastic house! We were a family party of 7, my partner and I, my 3 children and 2 girlfriends. The house was lovely and spacious, very warm, welcoming and well equipped.
On arrival we found a bottle of wine and some chocolates, which were much appreciated and a nice touch.
The huge kitchen had everything you could want, including spices, and the sitting rooms were spacious, great for the games we played over the weekend.
The bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms, had extremely comfortable beds 😃.
There was a lovely garden, very well kept, which would be great to sit in durning warmer weather.
We visited many villages/towns, none of which took long to get there, including Moreton in Marsh, Broadway and Bourton on the Water. We had an excellent meal at the Norman Knight, in Whichford, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Rachel was very helpful over the weekend, ensuring that everything was fine.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying in this gorgeous house.
We booked Teachers House for a weekend away with friends. It is a beautiful property and very well equipped - I couldn't fault it. It was the perfect location with excellent attention to detail; a real home from home.
We had a lovely family break at Teachers House in the Cotswolds. The house was well equipped, comfortable and warm. The wine and the chocolates were a nice touch and were enjoyed by all. Thank you Mary for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
