Highly recommended, a fabulous house!

  • 5 of 5

This as our second stay at 'teachers' and yet again we had a fabulous time. The house is warm and cosy yet spacious, meticulously kept and thoughtfully equipped. The village and surrounding areas are so picturesque, and there is so much to do to keep all ages and tastes amused. My family

and myself found the house perfect for our needs, with each bedroom having its own bathroom, two living areas so the grandparents could escape the children, and a wonderfully equipped kitchen and dining room, perfect for a family get together. The owner Mary is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with, as is Rachel who greeted us on arrival. 'Teachers' comes highly recommended from us! Many thanks and we very much hope to return again!

The happiest house in England!

  • 5 of 5

During our 2 week holiday in England, we stayed only a few days in Teachers House - what a mistake! We should have stayed the whole 2 weeks. There wasn't a place we felt more comfortable. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us (including 4 kids who didn't want to share a bed). The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful (quiet!) and very convenient. We took day trips to Hidcote Gardens, Sudeley Castle, Oxford, Warwick and Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Rachael was very friendly and available whenever we needed her.

The washing machine was very useful and clothing dried quickly on the provided rack (a condenser dryer was available, but we preferred line drying). Every appliance one could need is available in the kitchen, which was beautiful and spacious.

Don't hesitate to book this house - you won't regret it!

Delightful cottage which lived up to every expectation of what the Cotswolds would be like.

  • 5 of 5

Teachers House was the perfect Cotswolds experience. The house is charming, spacious and superbly furnished and equipped. The village is quiet and peaceful but only minutes from all the necessities and major attractions, an ideal location. As for the weather, our stay was from 5/20-5/27 and the weather was perfect, perfect, perfect. Every evening we sat out in the lovely yard and enjoyed a glass of wine (or two) and talked about our day exploring the area. We would also like to add that Rachel was a delight. She was a great help guiding us to points of interest and the best local restaurants. She was a real help and made our vacation even more memorable. We would all go back in a second.

Charming retreat with comforts of home

  • 5 of 5

There were seven of us and the house worked great for us. The master bedroom bed and pillow gave me the best nights sleep in weeks. The kitchen was well stocked (could have used a few more hangers but a very minor complaint). The location was great. Out in the country but close enough to town for conveniences, like groceries, etc. And Rachel, the house manager couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
