They are designers and builders of barnwood furniture, cement kitchen countertops, bathroom sinks, & indoor-outdoor elements. Their design style and pieces can be found throughout their newly renovated home giving it a warm and cozy feel throughout.
Asia Magriby- Palmieri purchased this House in 2006
Why Asia Magriby- Palmieri chose Jay
Justin bought this home over ten years ago because he wanted to live in a winter wonderland far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Where he could snowboard deep powder (jay peak reknown for this), and not miss any storm. Yet the rockers retreat is special because its located 5 miles away from the resort life and is nestled in the valley on a country road where the sun shines longer, the views are beautiful, and large pine trees surround you.
What makes this House unique
We have customized our home to feel warm and inviting and to reflect our talents for design. Our home has one of a kind cement counters and bathroom sinks, we have lots of barnwood moldings and a cozy pellet stove that lets off such a nice heat after a cold day at the mountain. The house is large and flows easily with living rooms on two sperate floors. The best though is the indoor hot tub, now that is worth its weight in gold- you'll see.

Wonderful house for a family vacation
This was a cool and funky house for our vacation. The house was impeccably clean and we had everything that we needed including a hot tub. The hosts added another bedroom which allowed us to spread out. We had an issue with the hot tub during our stay, but the hosts were very quick to respond to fix it. We did not get much skiing in due to the frigid temps, but were able to relax and enjoy our family. Thanks again for letting us stay. Hopefully we'll be back.
Rustic Dream in Jay, Vermont
The pictures do not do this lovely home justice. The house is an interior decorators dream with mixed and matched pieces that all come together perfectly.
Coming here in the summer, we weren't quite sure what to expect. The house is secluded enough to feel very private, while also being within driving distance to major attractions. We were close to the Water Park, waterfalls, restaurants, Main St, and also the lake. The house was so lovely, it was hard to leave. The fire pit, trampoline, hot tub, ample sitting areas outside, games, and well-stocked kitchen all contributed to a wonderful ambiance for the weekend.
I would highly recommend staying here winter or summer! Thank you Asia and Justin!
bright and cozy mountain retreat
It was a great place we really enjoyed staying there. I loved the christmas lights it was such a nice touch. The large entryway was great for all the gear. It was also so nice to find a place that would let us bring our little dog, he is a member of the family after all. The kitchen was well stocked. All the essentials to pull some tasty meals together.
My favorite rental ski home of the past few years
My friends and I rent a home each year for a ski trip and this one is my favorite of the 3 we have rented. The bad - I felt really self-conscience about our own home not being decorated nicely because this one is so perfect. The good - There were 8 of us and two 1 year olds. We were comfortable with sleeping arrangements. All of the beds were nice (read = new, clean, not cheap) and the bedrooms were tastefully appointed. Master bedroom is huge and has memory foam mattress. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Wood stove was awesome and plenty of super dry firewood outback.
Jay Peak was less than 10 minutes, maybe a even a 7 minute drive. Staying here vs staying at he resort is not even comparable. This house is way nicer than you will get resort side. Also, good luck finding a place for 8 + ppl at the resort, and if you do, it will not be as nice and cost twice as much.
Really looking forward to staying here again in the future. Thanks Asia and Justin.
Great Jay Peak House
Had a great stay at Asia's place. Totally modern. They renovations they made were fantastic. 8 adults fit there without a problem. And just 10 minutes from Jay Peak. And Asia was super easy to work with.
Wonderful stay at Jay, feels like home while away
We had a wonderful stay at Asia & Justin's house, a cozy hand crafted jewel in the woods near Jay Peak. Asia & Justin couldn't have been more helpful & welcoming, coming by once to replace a few light bulbs and a second time to pull a car out of the snow. Really went above and beyond to make our stay as welcoming as they could. The house is fantastic, a wood burning stove a pellet stove, a hot tub and windows all over to see the beautiful scenery.
We had 3 families of 3 at the house, maybe a little tight for that number, but the house itself couldn't be nicer. Many parts are hand built by Justin and his craftsmanship is impressive indeed.
I would highly recommend Asia & Justin's house to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway in the North, especially given the obvious care that the hosts have given to the details of their house and also to making visitors feel as welcome as if they were in their own home while staying there.
This home is in the town of Jay, VT about 5 miles from Jay Peak ski resort. The resort is now a four season destination. The resort has built an 18 hole championship golf course and the first indoor water park in Vermont. They have also built an NHL regulation indoor ice rink and a conference center to host many functions. There are 5 restaurants to choose from and the skiing and riding is some of the best in the East with over 350 inches of snow a year on average.
