Secluded in the woods, this home is within walking distance of downtown Government Camp, where you'll find lots of restaurants and shops. The mountain's best ski terrain and hiking areas are just a few miles away, making it an ideal year-round location.

When you enter the home, you'll see a large living area with pine walls, comfortable furnishings, and a stone gas fireplace to keep you cozy. Lofted windows let in lots of light, plus there's a flatscreen cable TV and WiFi for your convenience.

There's a lower level to this three-story home, offering more options for hanging out and relaxing. There's also a private washer/dryer.

Walk over to explore downtown Government Camp, and even grab a fresh meal and microbrew only 40 yards away at the Mt. Hood Brewing Company. For skiing, snowboarding, innertubing, hiking, and more, there are an array of ski parks just a few miles up the mountain.

About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

The home was great for 6 women but needs a door on the downstairs toilet. It's a quick trip to Timberline skiing. Besides the door, the location was awesome and the house had everything we could have needed.

Owner's Response: The pictures do indicate there is not a door for that bathroom, but the bathroom is tucked around behind a wall in the kids' room. We apologize if this came as a surprise.

Cozy spacious Cabin

 • 5 of 5

Very nice rental with plenty of space for my husband, myself, our two small kids, my mother, sister and sister’s boyfriend. Cozy with gas fireplace in main living room and another gas stove downstairs in a second living room. Everything was clean. Plenty of linens. Hot tub was great. Will definitely try to stay here again next year.

Cute, clean and cozy

 • 4 of 5

Conveniently close to restaurants and shops in Government Camp and to the ski slopes. This house was a very comfortable fit for my family of four. We loved the outdoor jacuzzi and the warm cozy fire place.
