Nice property, well located
The property is a lovely, large house up in the hills overlooking mission bay. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids. Suzanne was very helpful allowing us to drop bags off early on check in day and provided lovely gifts for the children.
The huge master suite is up one staircase and the remaining 4 bedrooms up a different staircase. That layout worked for us but might not work for all. Apart from some of the beds being very high (too high for the kids to climb in) they were comfortable. There is no air con in the property but most bedrooms have ceiling fans. There were loads of towels etc provided which was great and there was enough space in drawers and cupboards to unpack, although there were also some of the owners belongings in the wardrobes etc.
The pool area was good - plenty of sun during the day, but shaded later on. When we first arrived it seemed much smaller than the photos but actually there was plenty of room. There is a wide ledge in the pool that kids can play on, but that drops off and the pool is really deep. We paid extra to get the pool heated so it was a good temperature. The one downside was that this caused the algae to grow so by about day 5 of our week, the sides of the pool were yellow/green and our swimsuits were stained from it. However suzanne got people out that day to clean and treat the pool.
The living area is large and comfortable. Massive tv with loads of channels, another sitting area, two dining tables as well as a breakfast bar in the kitchen. The fridge/freezer and cupboards had quite a lot of leftover stuff in them which we weren't sure whether we were supposed to use it or not.
The one thing we really missed in the property was a washing machine and dryer - it would be a good addition to a rental of that size.
We had a nice week and Suzanne was great when we needed to contact her.
