About Jennifer Eaton
After graduating five of our eight children, we decided to make a career and climate change. From the wonderful chilly north, we packed up and headed to the natural beauty of central Virginia and Amherst County. The mountain views and all of the opportunities that living near a major university has to offer are amazing.
Jennifer Eaton purchased this House in 2016
Why Jennifer Eaton chose Madison Heights
The Cascades of Harris Creek make this home a true retreat. Just a few short miles from all the necessities of groceries, banking and take out, but remote and full of wild life. We love it here.
What makes this House unique
The fall foliage is breathtaking. The crazy winding road is perfect for long walks with no traffic, just the occasional train rumbling by in the distance.

Peaceful and relaxing!
We loved our 3 night stay here. The apt. has everything you need and is so comfortable. We enjoyed watching a movie on the home theater., but the highlight was sitting and relaxing down by the creek. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!
We love to share our beautiful place. Thanks for coming!
We felt right at home here . Hosts were so accommodating, we came in during a snow storm after driving ten hours and many restaurants were closed and we didn’t bring much food and she offered to put enchilladas in the oven for us so we would be fed . They had a popcorn maker and waffle machine and we played games around the fire and laughed and had a great family time . The sound of the river is relaxing and the views are amazing , we saw quite a few deer on their road as it is in the woods .Looking forward to our next visit in this lovely home !
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in spite of the rainy weather. Come back soon when the sun is shining!
Peaceful and comfortable
We were very happy with the accommodations and the property. Loved the location and the river. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We look forward to a return visit.
The accommodations worked great for our family!
My husband and I and two adult daughters met there for birthday celebrations and it was nice to have the living space to hang out when we were home. The surroundings are beautiful! Loved the water with chairs set up on the bank to enjoy. Our visit was quick, but will definitely come back and would love to stay longer to really make use of all it has to offer. We felt very welcome, to be sharing their home.
It was a pleasure to have you and I hope you will be back soon!
Clean quiet and relaxing
This property is georious! The pictures don’t do it justice. They truly have thought of everything in this piece of heaven. Much larger then we thought and it was all the little touches that made all the difference. The creek/river in the back is a great place to relax or explore. Jennifer, the host was great! I can’t say enough about this place other then come stay and see for yourself. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely return for another visit.
We love it when our guests are happy and we love to share our special place! Come back soon.
