Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Nicky,

Mark mentioned that you emailed, but he has yet to get a chance to email you back. We thoroughly

enjoyed our stay. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The fact that you have everything available for

our use (dishes, towels, CD player, fire starters, etc) made the stay even better. Honestly, we have

been talking so highly about it ever since we have returned. We would LOVE to come again with a

couple friends. The pictures we took have sparked a lot of interest from both our families, and we

know it is booked through the summer, but we are planning on staying again. I hope we left it in decent

shape. We had to rush off Friday morning.

Sorry I can't be helpful with suggestions to make it better, because it really was wonderful. All that we

hoped for and more!

I hope to stay again in the future!

Have a great day.

a different experience

  • 4 of 5

The house is located far away from the closest town. It takes courage to drive through the twisty paths in the forest. But once you get there, you are completely blocked from the outside world, you can leave your worries behind and just immerse in nature. I enjoyed very much the stay in the Bubble. The kitchen is sufficient, the ceramic hob is not great but the oven is quite effective. There is a slow cooker too, which is nice. The rooms are cozy. There're plenty of books, board games and DVDs to choose from. Interesting selection of music CDs were provided. The only thing I'd say, which did not impress me was the smell of the cushions: they smell pretty awful, like they are very very old and never been washed. I suggest the owner to replace them with new ones at some point.

Awful Place

  • 1 of 5

We stayed here for 2 days. We had booked for a week. The location is great but the accommodation was awful, it didn't smell great when we arrived and it was quite frankly filthy. After 2 days my wife's asthma could take no more and we phoned Nicky to tell him we had to leave. He agreed to refund us... We found other accommodation. When we contacted him after our return home the correspondence was shocking. He told us we were not the first people to leave and one couple walked in and straight back out. His correspondence descended into abuse - simply because we asked for the refund he promised. He didn't refund us. We are sure other people have enjoyed the place, we just wish to warn other people about what to expect.

Relaxing retreat

  • 5 of 5

This is perfect if you want to get away from everything for a few days. In the middle of nowhere, it is probably about 30 mins to the nearest pub, although there is a village shop, cafe in the village and grill/bar on the site but this was not open when we were there (out of season).

The owner was very helpful if we had any queries during our stay and we just had a nice relaxing time!

The views from the upstairs bedroom are even better in real life than in the pictures!

Thank you for letting us stay, we would definitely come again if it weren't for the 9+ hour drive!

The greatest of all escapes

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 7 nights at the bubble and didn't want to leave! The view over the Loch awe was absolutely mind blowing! The cabin has such a good vibe, very homely with everything we could possibly ever need! Nicky, the owner is such a great guy, so helpful and kind. Can't thank you enough for making this trip what is was :)

If you are looking for somewhere to be totally undisturbed, sat by the fire and surrounded by nature at its finest this is perfect :)

Amazing views, well stocked cabin

  • 5 of 5

From the outside the cabin, as most of them do, doesn't look anything fancy, but as soon as you walk through the door, the view at the other side is awesome. This cabin is well stocked with everything you would need. Plenty of heaters. Had a great time. Will definitely go back.

People in unfamiliar environments break and damage things like dinner plates and kitchen countertops, as such i try and persuade my guests to take my accidental damage insurance costing £14 , this is a less hassle and much better option than asking for £hundreds in security deposits.
