We as a family from Norway with one toddler girl stayed here for 3x weeks in June '19. Dealing with the owner Sebastien has been a pleasure all along, during our inquiries, booking process, our stay and departure. Since we used a local car Sebastien offered both airport pick up and drop off to Nice. Very nice and much appreciated!
The house is located at the end of a dead end gravel path and in a remote neighborhood well away from the busy roads. It's a ~5min drive back to main road. Peace and quietness rules. The grounds are big enough and covered to offer full privacy and the pool is very nice. The first few days the pool was a little chilly but after a few days of hot and sunny weather the water temp became just perfect. The pool is not equipped with a fence, but there is a pool alarm that works very well.
Do not expect your typical Provence style house. The theme is Bali and this is expressed throughout the house and the garden. You'll find plenty of Asian relics inside the house and lots of bamboo , statues and Bali style hut in the garden.
The access to the pool from the terrace could be somewhat improved since there is mainly a gravel bed with some cactus to negotiate, or a wooden walkway through pergola.
A garage or car port is lacking hence your vehicle will stand in the burning sun all day.
The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you may require in appliances, pottery, cutlery, etc.
The master bedroom is large and nice with excellent bed, though the other bedrooms are small and some of the beds are based upon mezzanines.
There are plenty of towels and linen, no need to bring anything.
The outside furniture is good and the terrace roof provides sufficient shelter.
There is a cat that comes with the house, all you do is feeding him a bit and he looks after himself. Our toddler loved the cat. There is also a little pond with some fish that adds to the entertainment.
There is a 'bbq', but this is a hot plate stove. There is no possibility for grilling over open fire.
Certainly a place we would like to return to and we would be looking forward dealing with Sebastien again.
