Naughty by Nature, 1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2, Hot Tub, Mountain Views, WiFi

Bedrooms 1
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 1 - 6 nights

About the property

1 Bedroom, 2 Baths, Sleeps 2

No need to look any further for that perfect romantic hideaway in the mountains: Naughty by Nature is it. The 1-bedroom log cabin has 2 decks for taking in the spectacular scenery, an outdoor hot tub, an indoor jetted tub, and a king-size bed you’ll love retiring to at the end of the day.

Surrounded by towering trees, Naughty by Nature offers just the privacy you crave during a honeymoon or other romantic getaway. If you want to travel with other couples, though, several of the nearby cabins— Bearway to Heaven, Dreamweaver, Majestic View, and/or Seneca—can be packaged together, so you can all hang out during the night, then enjoy time alone at night.

Naughty by Nature’s upper level is the main floor, with a beautifully furnished living area. Nestle together on one of the 2 well-cushioned sofas to watch a movie or sporting event on the flat-panel TV, which has not only a Blu-ray player but also a package of more than 160 channels, including the NFL Network (no need to miss the big game just because you’re on your honeymoon!). Or you can sprawl out and read, upload photos of your day’s adventures (the cabin has free WiFi), or doze in front of the wood-burning stove in winter or beneath the gentle breeze of the ceiling fan in summer.

Cozy dinners for 2 are an essential element of a romantic vacation. The cabin’s well-equipped kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, plus plenty of counter space and more than enough room so that both of you can prepare your meals together—it’s much more fun that way! You can dine at the breakfast nook or take your meal out to the deck, which is furnished with a dining table and chairs. The mountain air makes everything taste fabulous! You can cook outdoors too, on the charcoal grill atop the beautifully landscaped patio area.

For after-dinner entertainment, head downstairs to the game room, with its gorgeous raw-wood billiard table and a comfy couch where you can snuggle between games. Or head out to the hot tub on the lower deck. Large enough to accommodate the pair of you, it’s a magical spot for soaking in the silvery moonlight as owls call to one another across the woods.

The second bathroom is upstairs on the main floor, as is the bedroom. The log-style furniture nods to the rustic surroundings, but the king-size bed and the flat-panel TV are pure luxuries. The bed will already be made up by the time you arrive, and plenty of clean towels will be waiting, so if you want to start your stay with a soak or a nap, you can.

When you’re not lounging in bed, lazing in the hot tub, playing pool, or dining alfresco, there’s plenty to explore in the immediate vicinity. Naughty by Nature is only minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with its hiking trails, historic cabins, waterfalls, and wildlife ranging from black bears to elk. Also nearby is the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and craft shops offering everything from stained glass to chainsaw art, custom knives to pottery. And let’s not forget the restaurants and attractions of downtown Gatlinburg, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park, and Ski area, golf, white-water rafting…

No matter how you spend your days, you’ll look forward to enjoying time with that special someone among the serenity and comfort of Naughty by Nature. So what are you waiting for? Book your stay today, and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Great location, private getaway for two.

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect property for a romantic getaway for two. It’s private but close to Gatlinburg. You don’t need a 4WD to get to the cabin. We will definitely be coming back.

Gorgeous view.

  • 4 of 5

Definitely a nice place to stay. There were a few issues with the tvs. The one in the bedrooms sound didn't work. And the DVD player in the living room didn't work. The view was gorgeous. Hot tub was real nice!

Great place to stay for a Wedding Anniversary

  • 4 of 5

This was a very cozy cabin with a spectacular view. My wife and I went for our 7th wedding anniversary and had a very romantic and relaxed weekend at this cabin. It is located just a few miles from downtown Gatlinburg and it is not stacked on top of other cabins. My wife and I try to come to the Gatlinburg area at least once a year weather it be for our anniversary or for a family vacation and we have stayed in quite a few different cabins over the years and this has proved to be one of our favorites. It is a very private cabin in a very quite neighborhood which made this a very relaxing anniversary for us. There is a stream that you pass to get to the cabin and looking off the back deck of the cabin you can see and hear the stream below. The hot tub was a great amminity to have. The cabin was very clean and everything you need is there for you. The only thing I would have changed was the mattress on the bed. It was very firm and stiff but other than that it was a wonderful place to stay for my wife and I. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely Mountain Cabin -- Very disappointing experience with management company

  • 3 of 5

Clean, peaceful and well maintained cabin. Very private off winding mountain road. Breathtaking views.

While the property was magnificent; the property management company has room for considerable improvement. Information was lacking for check in. Over reliance on a cell phone application to provide key information about the property without consideration for the fact that cell signals were intermittent on the mountain.

Impossible to access internet log in information and hot tub combination from the application if you can not get a cell signal. Internet required a password on some devices and router PIN on other devices.

Land line telephones did not work and the management company required notification of check out by 10 AM. This causes problems if you don't have a cell signal and also a safety issue if you don't have the ability to dial 911 in an emergency.

Television in the living room did not work and required a new set top box. Did not arrive before the end of our stay. Maintenance was quick to address issues but it required driving almost 18 mile round trip to the property office since the phones were not working. Batteries in remote controls and telephones should be changed on a regular basis and be in proper working order for guests.

Once I booked the property I tried to cancel within the 48 hour cancellation window. I sent an e-mail to the property managers informing that I would like to cancel our stay within the 48 hour window and followed it up with a phone call the next day. The management copy refused to refund my money because they did not receive a phone call regarding the cancellation. They did receive my e-mail and acknowledge the date was within the window for cancelling but would not honor the cancellation.

Owners should be proud of the property that they rent and we enjoyed our stay, but they should also be aware of the fact that there are areas for vast improvement with their management company.

Very nice. Can see the people down below but other than that we really enjoyed it.

  • 5 of 5

We loved the cabin, spent most of our time there. Very cozy, beautiful view of the mountains.. do wish it was a little more secluded. The only real complaint would be the stairs inside are very steep, and were a bit of a pain to get up and down. Easier to walk around the outside of the cabin to get down stairs. Would recommend to any couple that needs a few days or even a week away!! :)
