You are getting an ocean FRONT view at an ocean VIEW price! Our condo is the last unit of the B building - meaning we have the best view of the ocean! The rest of the condos have a 6 foot privacy wall sticking out & blocking your view of the ocean. Our condo does not have the wall!

Our Kona Reef ocean view condo is in a fabulous location! One of the few condos at the Kona Reef with air conditioning In the bedroom with a king bed! And we have installed a triple pane window in the bedroom to ensure a noiseless sleep! We have added zoned air conditioning in 2/15. There is a remote control for the living room system and a separate one for the bedroom. In the evening, sit in the living room and watch movies on our new 50' flat screen, and retire to the cooled bedroom with a king bed.

In February of 2017, we refaced all of the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom, tiled the entryway, bedroom and kitchen and replaced the living room furniture with a new queen sleeper sofa (with an 8" deep mattress!), a new recliner and a new entertainment station. Check all of this out in our updated photos!

Our condo complex has an oceanfront pool and is next to a beach, walking distance to Kona Town restaurants, shops and bars, one mile from the Ironman pier and two miles from the best snorkeling in Kona!

B-27 is on the third floor, with spectacular views of the ocean!

We have two dining areas - one on the lanai to watch the sunrise (seating four), and a bar with four stools in the living area - to watch the game on our new 50" flat screen.

We have hundreds of DVDs and CDs - something for everyone!

We have our own SECURED WiFi router, Spectrum cable TV with Showtime, free phone calls to the US mainland, Canada and Mexico and three levels of parking.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with place settings for 15 (planning a party?), large selection of pots and pans, an array of spices, coffee maker and grinder, toaster, rice cooker, etc. We installed a new microwave oven and stainless steel refrigerator in 3/16. We installed new cabinet facings in 11/16.

Our bedroom has a king bed with Serta Cool Blue mattress, 450 count sheets, new quilts (we change these for EVERY guest!) and a new 32' flat screen TV. And has it's own zoned air conditioning system! We installed a new tile floor in 2/16.

Our bathroom has been newly renovated in 3/15 with a walk-n shower, new paint and decorative tile.

We have our condo stocked with boogie boards, snorkel and fins, beach mats, towels, umbrellas and coolers to fill full of your favorites - walk 100 feet from the complex into the ocean and join in the fun! We also have golf clubs for those that do not want to drag their clubs over the ocean!

Watch the sun rise from the living room couch - and watch the spinner dolphins from the kitchen! You can sit on the lanai and cheer on the surfers while enjoying a glass of wine!

Our location is perfect for those that worship the sun - walk 100 feet to the oceanfront pool or 100 feet to a white sand beach! Our location is perfect for athletes - GREAT jogging and bike riding down Alii Drive (our condominium is located on an oceanfront drive - five beautiful miles of ocean and homes!). Our location is perfect for shoppers and diners - GREAT dining and shopping starting two blocks north. Our location is perfect for surfers - GREAT surfing out our lanai doors! Our location is perfect for entertaining - barbecue grills are 35 paces away! EVERYTHING is within walking distance!

Dick and I had a great three weeks on the Big Island. The weather was perfect, sunny with a nice breeze.



We took our first helicopter ride over the volcano with Safari.



We hiked into Pololu Valley - very beautiful place. ran into some of the local folks and they treated us to some passion fruit that they were picking. we also hiked on Mauna Loa. We also visited Lapakahi State Historical Park, a very old Hawaiian village.



The Imiloa Astronomy Center in Hilo is also very interesting. The people working there are very knowledgeable.



Our new favorite beach is Kua Bay, nice sand and fun with the boards.



Your washer and dryer are also handy. We didn't have to pack as many clothes!



Our only regret was not spotting any whales, but it is early for them, though we heard that others have seen a few.

Great beachfront property!

We loved staying here--it has the most beautiful view and we ate breakfast every morning on the lanai. It's close enough to everything nearby, while still making you feel like you have some privacy. Pete has also generously left a number of conveniences that are also great. Namely, we loved being able to use the beach towels, snorkeling gear, and cooking items. Definitely worth a booking! Thanks for all your hospitality!

Great stay on the water!

We had an awesome experience here! It's a nice apartment with everything you need, and the oceanfront location can't be beat. Word to the wise - the waves are a bit loud at night while asleep if you're like us. The pool is really nice too, with a BBQ area and killer view. No complaints!

Beautiful view, great location

We spent 10 days in the condo in May. It was a wonderful location. We walked to town every morning for coffee and breakfast and every evening for dinner and shopping. The view from the condo was beautiful, a sandy beach which is rare in Kailua. The beach was not good for swimming, but it was beautiful. The condo was nice, lovely ocean breezes, we didn't have to use the a/c once. The bedroom is in the back but we left the lanai door open at night and slept to the sound of waves. There was a good supply of beach equipment, which was nice. The bed was extremely comfortable (and we are picky), the sheets were very soft. The kitchen was small but well appointed (we didn't cook). The pool was very nice, saline and on the ocean and not crowded while we were there. The biggest complaint would be the bathroom. It didn't have any ventilation, the fan didn't seem to help, so it was hot.

All in all we loved our stay and would recommend this condo.

Well stocked, good location

This condo was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, and just a short walk from many restaurants, bars and shopping. We enjoyed the lanai and watching sunsets from the pool area. Other tenants were all very friendly.
